Russia and it's citizens should be prepared for the retaliation from Ukraine. If history tells us anything it's that the terror and war crimes their soldiers are committing will be returned for a generation to come if not longer.

@ShirleeKnott The OP is utilizing very dark humor to make a brutal point. Come on now - you didn't really take them seriously, did you? Why would you assume the worst of someone when that's probably not the case. And there is no such thing as karma or any of that other magical thinking foolishness. Which is a good thing or else wishing tenfold bad karma on another would certainly bring its own exponentially worse karmic retribution back on that person wishing misfortune on another. That's why "thoughts and prayers" are such a repulsive response to tragedy. It's just us being good or bad to one another.

From what I read elsewhere she was being held on suspicion of having been involved in a road rage or aggressive driving incident earlier but who knows what that means. What I want to know is what kind of incompetent and unobservant nitwit parks on railroad tracks and what kind of oblivious POS locks a handcuffed person into a vehicle parked on railroad tracks? Oh wait, a member of law enforcement - answered my own question. And there's no more qualified immunity in Colorado so that will add another dimension to all this.

@edal2140 Okay Ivan

Maybe Russia shouldn't part of the UN Security Council anymore.
2
"by any means necessary" is a good way to get yourself reported and banned off YouTube, dude. I understand the feeling, but it's an ugly phrase more often used by the right to justify killing or doing something evil and extreme. Please, don't be like them.
2
@ericmuschlitz7619 Really? Okay. Thanks. (Went back and listened more closely this time. It was poorly written but the story being from Mexico probably should have clued me in - thanks again)
2
@chaist94 It would depend on the hospital, but that also usually only applies to women who have a Sexual Assault Nurse Exam (SANE) performed. That's something that mostly only happens after an acute traumatic sexual assault versus the long-term chronic sexual abuse I'm writing about and that the Governor is ignoring.
2
Mr Guterres is shameless - Were Manchin and Sinema guest speakers before or after him?
2
Every Word Is A Made-Up Word - Such an appropriate screen name... From the article in TIME magazine -- "The State’s call for capital punishment was due to past allegations against Reed, who had been considered a suspect in attacks on six women (including Schlueter). But he was only charged in one of those cases — and was later acquitted. " Shame on you! (Edit - DAMMIT! Shame on on me for trusting a main stream media source!)
2
I always hear about what a Leftist paradise San Francisco is but this Brooke Jenkins taking over after Chesa Boudin was forced out just shows that even in San Francisco the Left is hosed. There really is no place in the US that isn't corrupted by capitalism.
2
0:23 - WOW! The stereotyping of French citizens is shameful! Had to pick a moment where a guy wearing shades and carrying a bag of baguettes was on screen, huh - unreal! (just having some fun before I die)
2
@Arctic-fox717 I'm perplexed. I see non constructive statements much worse than this all the time. Just scroll up or down and we'll find a few. Why so upset at this instance of it and not the others. It's not like he's wrong? If it makes him feel good to say his truth and his truth isn't offensive or out of character with the mood of the room why do care?
2
@Asherah 1147 Same question as for Ed S. Why do you care? And if Ed S is going to call someone out for a non constructive comment yours seems like a much better example of not only being non constructive but a full-on shit post. Do you have some kind of past history with the OP that would make you reply like that? Again, just curious.
2
Damn dude, it's weird you getting shit on for writing that. Do have have some kind of on-line beef or past history with those two?
2
Killer Kyle's judge sounds like he's already provided a clear sign of prejudice against those gunned down by the defendant.
2
She got into politics.
2
@heatherwhittaker6169 It's honest not horrid, and I agree. Except that nature was fine with us - we've done this to ourselves by overpopulation and exploitation of each other, other species and planetary resources. Any species that fouls its own nest so badly deserves extinction. I generally don't put such words online as people are, well - people. But just know you aren't alone in your opinion. I never had kids for a variety of reasons. My fellow humans was the main one.
2
I can't imagine anyone thinking that coming to the US is still a good idea. All the awful things they are fleeing are going to be found there only Texas-sized, and all that's going to happen is exploitation and either a quick or slow death. If I was leaving my horrible country I wouldn't want to go to another horrible one. They should be trying to reach Canada, not the US. This place is screwed!
2
They have a lot of damage from not just the past four years but the past forty years to contend with. My expectations are not high. Hope they prove me wrong.
2
Sadly there are lots of other right/white nationalists and America Firsters out there that will support all of these Trump train fuckstains so they will be making six- and seven-figure publishing and speaking fee salaries if they leave the White House or old Bankrupt ever gets tired of his new reality show. I'm still hoping for a deorbiting piece of space debris or a chunk of ice falling of a plane is going to hit him at terminal velocity - or a brain aneurysm. That work too. Just as long as it's something that doesn't cause anyone else any more grief than he already has caused in his awful life (besides his family, those poor poor people).
2
Glad Amy is okay. We lost Miss Turner - that's enough for now.
2
@John_Merrick Spot on.
2
Maybe if we had rocket scientists in charge instead of greedy fucks. The government being run by Republicans and neoliberal Democrats for the Oligarchy will be the end of us.
2
@biometronome7010 It's a shame we don't live in that world. I hope someday we will.
2
@TomRivieremusic When you misattribute a quote to someone famous it makes you look lazy. And getting defensive about being wrong makes you look bad in other ways. If you don't understand that then I'd best be on my way. Have a good one.
2
@eomguel9017 There are plenty of gun regulations already that aren't being properly enforced. More gun regulations aren't going to do any good when it comes to cops murdering the rest of us. If anything, it will make it easier for them to do the evil shit they do.
2
@eomguel9017 Yes. It was only two sentences. You brought up the subject of gun regulations - which I pushed back against since the only person who had a gun was the cop so more regulation wouldn't have helped here, right? And then you mentioned police accountability laws - which I agree we do need more of so I didn't push back on that. Obviously it's a tragedy. Now if the gun regulation part was directed towards regulating the way police are armed and able to murder us with damn near impunity then I agree with you, but since you used the word "or" it separated the idea of gun regulation from police accountability and I don't agree with you that more gun regulation is somehow going to solve the problems we have with the out of control police officers and departments.

Remember, the United States is basically built on an Indian Burial ground. That never goes well.
2
You can tell everything you need to know about a country from the way it mistreats protestors.
2
War porn to keep the general population riled up and distracted from the crap that might make people do more than just gripe in the comment section about the collective horror show of current world events.
2
Up to Garland at this point and he isn't doing much.
2
He isn't wrong but to be historically accurate the US was doing all of this globally ever since the end of the Second World War and in the Western Hemisphere for fifty or more years before that. The old US doctrine of Manifest Destiny didn't stop at the western shores of North America and has just kept on expanding abroad after the lower 48 were established. And let's not act as if Russia and China don't also have problematic domestic and international policies too. All the most powerful nations, and many of the less powerful ones as well, of the early 21st century are bullies and thugs. Which is also something that has always been happening. Maybe someday it will change and we'll have people in charge who will create a truly egalitarian world but it's probably not going to happen in my lifetime.
2
Fear is the mind killer.
2
Regardless of the label, she's on the payroll for at least three more years. Senator Kyrsten has got lots of damage left to do to.
2
There's got to be some good things and small victories happening somewhere, right? Hells bells, what a shit show!
2
Since almost every story here (and usually) deals with violence of one kind or another, do they really have to keep warning the viewer each time? I think we know that DN is going to reporting on all kinds of violence - they are just as guilty of the if-it-bleeds sensationalist journalism as most other news outlets.
2
Is the U.S. Treating the Ukraine Conflict as a Proxy War Against Russia? Well duh, of course it is! For pete's sake - that's how the U S of A rolls, son! Kickin' it Cold War style. Saddle up buckaroos cause we got us some good old fashioned Police Action violence to perpetuate on the global stage.
2
He sounds like a terrible audio book narrator. Scripted and artificial - saccharine - fake. Glad I didn't watch this one either. I don't need the aggravation.
2
I don't know about total - at least not right away. But a culling of the herd is probably coming in the next few decades. It's what can happen when a species fouls its own nest.
2
Aren't the majority of people dying people who chose to to not get vaccinated? Not sure why were trying to force people to get into the lifeboat if they'd rather try and swim or find some other bit of wreckage to cling to.
2
The Establishment loves the status quo.
2
The first time I saw this question I didn't realize you spammed it up with the same couple of posts over and over again. So it's not even a rhetorical question - you're just being a troll. Don't be a troll, dude.
2
@TTTzzzz Dude - see how your screen name shows up in this comment? That's because I'm replying to your comment. Now, go back and look at my earlier reply - do you see your name there like it is on this reply? No - then it's not for you. If there isn't a screen name on a reply it's because the comment is for the original poster. Come on now, You've had a YouTube account since at least least 2016 - don't you know how things work around here yet?
2
The people are rarely represented by their leaders.
2
I've lost a lot of respect for Noam Chomsky over this Epstein crap and the way he's responded to the disclosure.
2
I get the feeling the young guy caught outside Cavanaugh's residence needs psychiatric care more than a prison sentence. Hell, he didn't even have a gun! What kind of schmuck assassin doesn't have a gun in the United States?
2
I'm done trusting polls and people self-reporting how they voted. Trying to make it as if a group as diverse as Latin Americans, Hispanics, Chicano/a's or however people from the Americas want to identify themselves are a generally unified group seems like an error. Juan even points this out. I think this might be even more true than among the U.S. Black population as Black people mostly all share common heritage and life experiences where as Latinos (or Latinx if people prefer) come from something like 33 different countries all with their own histories and cultures, and many of these folks are very conservative politically and religiously. There is plenty of variety and nuance in opinion about all the hot-button issues from one person to another. It's about as silly as lumping everyone in the U.S. together as "The American People".
2
Defund the police? Nah - defund the whole damn system.
