@Twodime4032 I do agree that such a mistake is the result of any Hasty Generalization. I met some Chinese people who were so loving they would welcome you as family. I have also met some that are so filled with prejudice that it would be fair to say there is no cure. Even in your history it's filled with men that would redefine selfishness and at the same time men, I should add women too in certain circumstances, that were so noble that it surprises me no one learns from their example. Wouldn't you agree?

@dondrumpfy8057 if it’s a theory the why are the authors of this theory the same ones who wrote the Constitution? The Madison doctrine was named after the father or architect of the constitution. And if to you proves it doesn’t work then is it every attempt to undermine say the 1st or 2nd amendments among others have been a failure? Yeah try again next time read Madison’s writings before ridiculing it.

@dondrumpfy8057 you might want to check how bad dems are getting killed in the polls for his November. There are dems calling for civil war but there is a reason why you are not seeing people shooting each other in mass numbers. It’s because the only people who want your so called civil war 2.0 are clearly too small to put up a real fight and even among these people it’s dawning on them slowly that were being used and it’s creating problems none of them really wanted. Just look up what happened recently at AOC’s rally to see what I am talking about. Even in the Arizona governorship election Kari Lake is expected to win, and her opponent really didn’t win points when project veritas revealed what a fraud she is. But don’t take my word for it let’s see how many libs actually try to pick up arms this November. Bet it will be just like the Chinese troll response when pelosi landed in Taiwan. I will even be generous and predict maybe a few angry violent protests like in 2020 but anything on par with a full civil war most likely not.

@dondrumpfy8057 Jan 6th you mean the the house committee investigation, which has no arresting authority desperate to find something on trump and no one really cares about and even CNN is forced to admit it? Arresting authority is with the senate and this wasn’t the first house committee on Trump the senate voted down.

But perhaps you still live with your parents sense, like most people unfortunately, it’s getting harder and harder to afford a place of your own unless you live in a republican held state or city like Florida or Texas where efforts are made to keep the cost down. I haven’t even gotten to the price of gas or how much of a waste of money ev cars turned out to be and it’s already pretty clear the economic differences between 45 and 46. That wasn’t the only disastrous result of Brandon let’s not forget how defund the police turned out turning our cities into war zones. Bet you lock your doors and have nights where you wish you had a gun but then again that would make you pro 2nd amendment now wouldn’t it? I can rub more salt into your wounds but I think the point is loud and clear. Now suppose you don’t even live in the US as if that matters sense because of globalization you feel the impact of the us economy whether you want to acknowledge it or not and I bet Russia shutting down the pipeline into Europe didn’t make things easier I can go much further then this but I think you get the idea.

As a westerner and a student of criminal justice i think the Chinese custom of bride gifts has to be handled cautiously because our countries do have marriage fraud laws and monetary gain is a red flag in these laws. This isn't to discourage the custom neither to court a westerner but rather Chinese people courting westerners should be flexible with the custom and making certain the westerner understands the custom before expecting anything.

Really, so I am supposed to ignore the fact that according to traditional Chinese philosophy, yes I have read Confucius and also Mencius, they actually go hand in hand. Some scholars of Confucius actually cite that a person is held in contempt for failing to uphold cardinal moral values. So say what you want but Chinese philosophy itself even disagrees with you. Of course, I would expect a 50 cent goon, threatened by a Chinese person rocking the boat, would conveniently forget that fact and try to make a futile effort at passing BS off as truth. To Lei, I know you have a rule about being civil and respectful and I understand it but I have no respect for bullies especially jerks like this one who clearly work for the enemy.

@dondrumpfy8057 thank you for admitting you’ve never been to Asia for anything more than a day or even a week maybe. Asian cultures are deeply rooted in traditions the very fact Chinese authorities give threats through their families whenever someone steps out of line proves this fact. That’s a Confucian teaching by the way. So saying cultures are always in transition is a weak argument. I have been in countries like Thailand where the culture almost never transitions due to deeply devout Buddhist and Hindu influences. Most countries in Asia are the exact same way all the way down to their manners. Next time you want to butt into an old conversation you might to read the whole conversation first. Moron

Although it is true Chinese history is mostly made up of a series of dynasties with a bad habit of putting morally corrupt morons in power, not really the fault of the people but more or less the fault of those in power and Xi and the CCP are no exceptions to this historical fact. The culture itself is still built upon Confucianism we know this for a fact because we have Confucius's writings. Moab, who was really a kingdom that surrendered to Joshua in the Bible has absolutely nothing to do with China. Chinese can learn a lot from the Bible and in most cases they have in the form of members of the underground Church still being persecuted. Btw I appreciate your telling the real truth about China. I have been a subscriber for a week now and take the actions of the CCP as being criminal and their victims, since their very beginning, deserve justice. This includes men and woman who sacrificed much for their country only to be used and abused as cannon fodder for the Party. You and others like you give hope to such a day when these people will answer for their crimes. Maybe it won't be today maybe it won't be tomorrow, but someday the CCP members will stand trial and answer for everything they have done. As long as brave people like you speak you make that day possible every time. Keep up the good fight.
