I want you all to remember the lead comment. Because at the moment idiots are still supporting Farage, but you'll all be cursing him in a year or two.

+Nark Lemming I'm retired and those days are well behind me. Had lots of fun in Cyprus back in the day though. And Nark, check my likes. The truth is getting louder by the hour.

+Zoney06. I'm assuming that you must be another of the "mob" Well, by grim I mean that our NHS will be severely damaged by a no-deal. That prices will rise. (no tariff vs tariff) That car manufacturing will cease in this country, certainly for several months and may never restart. And then we have Yellowhammer. So yes. it will be grim.

+Nark Lemming I don't know it all, but I do take the trouble to learn. The alternative is only to remain in ignorance or just believe what fools tell you. And why should I feel ashamed at telling the truth. How many likes have I got now?
1
+Nark Lemming. 101 likes. My work here is done I think. And consider the neutrals reading this thread. My initial comments were factual and reasoned, but like the majority of BaaRexiteers you've only offered snidey remarks and nonsense. Well done, you must like scoring own goals.
1
+Nark Lemming You've really got to work on your wind ups. 111 likes, THE TRUTH IS GETTING LOUDERBY THE HOUR.

+Phil Dobson I was born here in the 50s. My dad was a soldier from London, and I'm watching Match of the Day. THE TRUTH IS GETTING LOUDER BY THE HOUR.
1
+Phil Dobson. "Go away"? Is that really the best you can do? But I note the alt-right (fascist lite) have sent in one of their political officers. VaucluseVanguard Has Bannon got some kind of Doublethink tank?
1
+Craig Vickery. You've completely misunderstood the argument. Another poster suggested I was "Vichy-British" By which he meant a traitor. My response being that 16 odd million that voted remain are just as patriotic but see Brexit as harmful to our country. And there is substantial argument to support this view. Secondly, the topic here is about a no-deal being a crazy strategy. My reasons can be read in the earlier comments.
1
+Craig Brexit. Can you be specific about his claims. List them please.
1
+Craig Brexit. What? I'm a working class bloke that was in Cyprus for bit as a young man. That hardly makes me one of the privileged elite does it. Perhaps you should address these comments to Jacob Rees-Mogg.
1
+Simon Clare. You are just fearmongering. 225 LIKES! THE TRUTH IS GETTING LOUDER BY THE HOUR!
1
+Simon Clare. Kind of ironic that you call me deluded when the vast majority of BaaRexiteers simply ignore facts and expert opinions. But you're just another zealot that can offer nought but nonsense. And the reason you dislike me is simply because I am informed. The "owned" jibe was a little silly, but it worked.
1
+Roger Bennett. The government's Brexit White Paper stated, “The sovereignty of Parliament is a fundamental principle of the UK constitution. Whilst Parliament has remained sovereign throughout our membership of the EU, it has not always felt like that.” So we never actually lost our freedom.

Liam Fox assured us that getting a deal would be "one of the easiest in human history" Rees-Mogg told us that the "EU was not ready for a no-deal Brexit." ? But now we arrive at Jeremy Hunt's "No deal by accident." So who voted for an accident? Surely only a fool would vote for such a thing.
1
+Melvin Beck. I'm glad for you Melvin, I believe that we should have ideals. It's silly to think of the EU as some utopia though and the Brexiters do have a few valid points. But most of them are also quite deranged unfortunately. Have you read some of these comments? Sheesh!
1
+John Smith. How is the EU a tyranny?
1
Knightley79. Don't worry if you can't find the precipice, I'm sure Mr Farage can point the way for you. And remember to say thank you as you plummet to economic oblivion. Nigel will be just behind you, but he'll have a parachute and be drifting away to his personal sunlit uplands.

Driving it off a cliff would have been more symbolic and truthful.

And both only have one ball. Spooky.

Trump also exerts a mesmeric influence over lemmings. But Stormy Daniels would have told us if the orange shillmaster was bollockly deficient.
1
+Melvin. Trump surfed to power on populist rhetoric and is still loved by the alt-right. Sane Americans are turning away though and Trump's whole administration is about ready to implode I believe. Not sure what to make of your "extremism" point. But we all have to curb our primal instincts in order to live in a civilised society.
1
Sorry Melvin. Missed this. Actually I think that Dutch people are far more cultured. A memory comes to mind of girl I met on a football tour. She was Dutch and definitely cultured. I'm too old to box though. Sorry about that.
1
Spinler. What are you on about now? I've never been bribed in my life. You though have lost your mind. 277 likes. I hit a nerve I think. Something about Farage that just oozes spiv.
1
@gw7624 Resorting to silly name calling then. Let me know if any actual evidence is found. All you have at present is a conviction based upon wishful thinking. What is it with righty types these days. They used to think quite logically at one time.
1
But what colour are you? And why are you trying to divert the debate away from the real issue?
1
NASA say otherwise. https://climate.nasa.gov/ You a rocket scientist? Didn't think so.
1
ADOLF SHITLER . INFOWARS has turned your brain to mush.
1
Albert Pike . NASA say otherwise, and back up their opinion with facts and statistics. What have you got? What scientific body argues otherwise?
1
@Curry Munch. If there is substance to these allegations, (Cambridge Ananlytica) then the democratic process has been corrupted by an outside force. And I find that very disturbing.
1
@minceyjs. The people behind Cambridge Analytica obviously do, otherwise they would not have invested so much money in the project. Also, your rather crass attack on Rais Maj only highlights your own bigoted angle. Showing your hand there Mincey, would you like to play some poker?
1
Why do you make this left wing accusation? Many people in the labour party are pro Brexit. There are also a significant number of "remainers" in Conservative ranks. Simply accusing the media of bias is a bit simplistic really. Journalists have to challenge the status quo (Some of their songs were a bit formulaic after all) it's their job.
1
@Sam. I read a good deal and I really don't like being manipulated, by anyone. So where do you get your information from? What is your angle?
1
@ Josh Vaughn. The Sun Newspaper was pro Brexit. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/1277920/we-urge-our-readers-to-believe-in-britain-and-vote-to-leave-the-eu-in-referendum-on-june-23/ The Daily Mail ran a front page of, "IF YOU BELIEVE IN BRITAIN THEN VOTE LEAVE" Google it. I can throw many more snippets your way but perhaps you should check for yourself. We are all entitled to an opinion, but some opinions have more substance than others.
1
The leave or remain debate could go on forever. I sincerely hope that Brexit works out for us, but as I said, I have my doubts. It's also hard to prove if Cambridge Analytica did influenced the referendum outcome, but the fact remains that powerful people were willing to try. I wonder why Brexit is so important to people like Bannon and Mercer. Food for thought.
1
Referendum turnout = 71.8% Remain vote = 48.1% Leave = 51.9% A close vote by any standard. The question is, how many were influenced?
1
Your earlier comment asserted that the media had a remain bias. Something which is not true, as is proven in my links to the Sun, which has more than double the readership of any other tabloid. In addition, you now make another assertion that students were influenced by their tutors, which is again no more than an opinion. And the fact remains that Cambridge Analytica were certainly up to something. Brexit aside, I want to know what these people have been up to and why.
1
Which newspapers? And returning to the video above, perhaps I should remind you that Channel4 has a reputation for exposing child abuse, police corruption, and even radical Islamic preachers. All worthwhile programs I hope you'd agree. Why is this particular story so different? Why do you take such exception?
1
Tory project fear.
1
Give the man some credit. He is clever and highly educated. But that doesn't mean I trust him. Especially in regard to Brexit.
1
@downwiththatsortofthing624 . My considered opinion, taking everything into account, is that Brexit has gone horribly wrong. Oh well, at least it will be the end of the Tories.
1
@Omar Hetham. I did the likes. And the problem with the Brexit Party is firstly that they have no plan apart from leave. And secondly that Farage won't engage in a one on one debate. Is he even going to stand? Giving your X to the Brexit Party is like signing a blank cheque. Sorry. No thanks.
1
@Steve-s8k Political campaigning was allowed in the Health Protection regulations. Johnson was also up there for the by election. Hard to prosecute someone if they have not actually broken the law.
1
Afterthought. A Constipated Orange.
1
The Durham loophole was that the health regulations allowed gatherings for the purpose of political campaigning. Hard to prosecute people when they haven't broken the law. And there lies the flaw in this cunning Tory scheme.
1
13 years of Toryism. What a grotesque farce.
