@shanehull6235 . Yeah. Sadly had similar responses from family members who are pro Brexit. Seems like a form of brainwashing to me. "I didn't vote for a deal!" is the latest one. All these slogans are just ready made opinions for the braindead. The Sun and Mail have addled us as a nation. That's why we're in such a mess right now I believe.

@6thi874 . Professional bullshitter more like. We do see documentaries here and I can find the details. So save your breath. I'm not gullible.
7
@6thi874 . Still bollox to suggest that healthcare is superior in the US. It may be better for those that can afford it but what about everyone else? What about the price of medicine? What about the people who die every day in the US because they have no insurance? So bog off. We'd rather have the NHS.
7
So the hard Brexiters were fighting for the sovereignty of parliament in order to thwart the sovereignty of parliament. That about sums Brexit up really.
7
@eliakimjosephsophia4542 What are their policies? Tice thought that Truss' economic strategy was a good idea. So I can't see what they have to offer the average person. Reform are also very anti union, which leaves workers vulnerable to hire and fire style management. Farage wanted to privatise the whole NHS. So again, I can't see how that benefits the average person.
7
This can be sorted in time. But the obvious solution is to be in the customs union.
7
And which country has most to gain from a divided Europe? Oh what a tangled web.
7
@brittanydawn2633 . Good point. And it's pretty clear from the twisted comments here that some people wish we were. Alt-Reich crazies I expect. Those mad fucks are as dangerous as Islamic State. And even share similar values. let's see if I hook one...……..
6
Nah. They 're utterly mesmerised and programmed not to think.
6
Too late though. It's obvious that the referendum was wonky.
6
@4tnine . Yellowhammer is still the only comprehensive assessment we have. What else do we have to go on? Has the Brexit Party commissioned their own report? Is there superior data? So the argument that they over reacted in 2016 is pretty lame. This could be a total under estimation for all we know.

+Mark Larkin. The issue is Mark that we have to deal with the problems we are faced with now. And I'm fed up with the likes of Farage telling us that a no-deal is great when it clearly isn't. A deal of some kind is essential in my view, especially in regard to EU citizens and trade.
6
+Mark Larkin. This is about having a deal or not, and we were promised a deal. Do you recall Liam Fox saying that a getting a deal would be "one of the easiest in human history" or how about Rees-Mogg assuring us that the "EU was not ready for a no-deal Brexit." ? But now we arrive at Jeremy Hunt's "No deal by accident." So who voted for an accident Mark? Surely only a fool would vote for such a thing.
6
People taking back control. Boris be warned.
6
The resistible fool meets the stoppable oaf.
6
Great comment! You summed this up perfectly. I was there by the way.
6
Brexiters were praising Boris for outmanoeuvring parliament. The newspapers were bigging Boris for his clever ruse. We all know the real reason for proroguing. But all of sudden the Brexiters are saying it's all perfectly legitimate. Disingenuous or what.
6
A Boris Brexit will be catastrophic for the non-loaded. He clearly can't be trusted with the NHS and even employment rights are a grey area. Turkeys voting for Christmas get stuffed.
6
A lot of us are crossing our fingers right now. Boris is just running on BS.
6
@popculture70 . Well put Simon. A lot of people just download their opinions from the Sun and Daily Mail. Both Newspapers (??) owned by corporate moguls obviously. I wonder why Murdoch and co have been selling brexit from the start. Financial gain possibly. Their readers won't get any financial gain at all but there you go.
6
Churchill was the right man at the right time. Boris is just a bullshiting knobhead.
6
Tory 2 is Reform.
6
The orange Mussolini now thinks that invading his own country is a good idea. Trump could easily be a new Nero at this rate.
6
Collecting data is not necessarily an evil thing. But using that data to implant subliminal straplines into our minds IS! Cyberocracy is not freedom.
6
@gladifly . Philips. Schaeffler. Panasonic. Michelin. Airbus. A ton of banking jobs. Aviva. Ford. Nissan. Honda. Jaguar. Toyota. Nissan. Rolls-Royce. Were you one of those who shouted "project fear" a year or two ago when experts said that Brexit would kill car manufacturing in the UK? Though to be fair Patrick Minford (The ERGs expert) did forecast that leaving the EU would kill all manufacturing in the UK.
6
@ihategeorgebushjr . They'd rather eat rats than their pride.
6
There are honourable people in politics. Some of them are even Conservative. But they opened the door for some right iffy types to get Brexit done.
6
@eliakimjosephsophia4542 Depends what kind of doctor he is and what his plans are. An American style healthcare system would be a disaster for us. And that is what Farage proposed in 2019. Increasing the tax threshold sounds marvellous on the surface, but not if employees are forced to give up their terms and conditions of employment, or forced to work for much less.
6
I wonder why they've buried that report on Russian interference? And I wonder what those oligarchs expect in return for funding the Tories? Also I believe that Cummings spent a lot of time in Russia. All a bit odd really.
6
@jameswhiteley6843 . Present UK price for a 10-milliliter vial of insulin about £30 tops. US Price of a 10-milliliter vial of insulin $275 tops. The pharmaceutical business in the US is a disgrace. It's all about exploitation. And that's what Danial Hannan would like here instead of the NHS. Be careful what you wish for.
6
@lesigh1749 . What about Boris's negotiations with the EU? Oh hang on, he's not really having any.
6
Please Santa, can I have a believable and judicious PM.
5
Albert Pike . How does the EU want to dismantle the NHS? Do you mean American pharma?
5
HMQ . Quite right. It seems that certain people would prefer that Brexit were not examined objetively. What are they scared of I wonder.
5
And Mark, our present unemployment rate and economic good news has been achieved whilst still within the EU. (So not all bad news then)
5
Brief excerpt. “During, and possibly after, this period there is likely to be considerable uncertainty as to the position of the UK and the arrangements which will apply to its relationships with the EU."
5
@westcoast747 Pursue what?
5
@Suriya Kassa What example is Johnson to law and order? And all I can see coming is strife.
5
The sewage pumpers? Seriously?
5
Always a shame when a sporting giant bows out, but what a brilliant career to look back on. Just a dream to the rest of us. Good luck Mo. Hope the next episode of your life is just as satisfying.
5
You're asking why using political funds as hush money to boost your political chances is illegal.
5
If there was any dirt on Labour the government would have published their report on Russian interference. As for the document on secret negotiations Boris is again trying to bluster his way through yet another mess. If there was nothing to hide why was it redacted?
5
@Tehgoat . Says it all.
5
Yep. That's it exactly.
5
But definitely not InfoWars. That's only for brainless simpletons and fascists.
5
Poor logic. We will still need an FTA with the EU after the withdrawal. Just how keen will they be if we owe them £39 billion? How keen will the Americans be on a trade deal if we screw Ireland? Reality is looking straight at us now. Just closing your eyes and believing won't work.
5
Leavers voted "out" About a third of the country in all (Adults) The rest either abstained or saw through Farage's fairy tail as I did.
5
On reflection I believe you have a point. Just giving you a thumbs up before some troll or Brexit zealot gets in with a dig.
5
Dark unlit shitlands.
5
Boris doesn't want a deal. That was never the plan. So now it's full speed ahead into the pooberg. 2020 has been mad. 21 could well be utterly insane.
