Or vote to keep the Tories in, who make a lot of noise about immigration but increase it on the quiet.
3
We watch and groan then say we told you so.

What's that Skippy? A devious man with a history of lying was shown to be what he is. Strewth!
3
@lesigh1749 . I know because the EU have said there are no new proposals. I also know that David Frost was only sent to Brussels after Corbyn pointed out that the government had no one there. I know because Amber Rudd told us that negotiations were not going on. I know because Boris needs a practical alternative to the backstop, and he doesn't have one. The only option he has left is to concede to a border in the Irish sea, which the EU proposed about two years ago. I know because Boris is an inveterate liar who has made empty assurances in the past. i know because I have a functioning brain.
3
@lesigh1749 . On the contrary. I would not argue with an orderly exit from the EU. I regard Brexit as the dumbest thing this country has ever done and the referendum as a poor and tainted example of democracy. But the damage is done now and there is no easy answer. So compromise is likely the best path. A no deal is not remotely acceptable though and it would be negligent of Parliament to allow such a crazy outcome. Democracy was broken in 2016 though. Partly thanks to Cameron but mostly due to the underhand tactics used by Vote Leave. No good will come of this. Those that were desperate for change will only get harder times, and all those Vote leave promises will evaporate like fart gas. The Brexit dream of 2016 will bear no resemblance to Brexit reality.
3
Trump has been an absolute disaster. So Biden has to be better than that. And you're thousands of miles away.
3
. Spot on Dan. How come other people can't see through him? Perhaps they just like being lied to. America has a total wazzock in charge and we've got mini wazzock.
3
@Kaital. You're not thinking this through. Steve Bannon's connection to Cambridge Analytica has already been established. Breitbart's connection to Cambridge Analytica has already been established. So what have they been up to? And what are they trying to achieve? If it looks like a conspiracy and stinks like a conspiracy, then...
3
And they found a flying broom, a spell book, and a pen of possessed pigs. Dunk him!
3
With any luck the Tories won't even exist in a year or two. I will dance for joy if they do go down. To be fair Rory Stewart is one of the few Conservatives I have any respect for, but he's still a Tory, and the buggers have inflicted themselves on us for too long already.
3
@wasatrumpvoter7929 . Considering what Jesus had to say about the eye of a needle I'd say that old Trumpy will be on the down chute.
3
Bull shitter.
3
All that "EUSSR" nonsense just makes you sound like a fool. In reality we are giving up access to a vast market in order to recover some abstract notion of freedom. Tell us if it was worth it in a year or two. If it even happens.
3
Isn't Mogg one of the elites? And the "People" is all of us, which includes 16 odd million remainers (2016) and a lot of abstainers. Leave voters actually only make up about a third of adults in the UK.
3
@hopethisworks1212 . Me too.
2
Boris? Mogg? Farage?
2
Considering that Vote Leave told lies, cheated, and employed a slick tech company to manipulate the electorate through social media I think it's absolutely essential that we vote again. Won't happen but at the moment it's like watching a train wreck in slow-mo.
2
@imdbist . Sorry but your ideological arguments mean nothing to me. All politics is a matter of delegation, and I see no real difference between the mandarins in Brussels and those in Whitehall. The truth is that I can't think of any EU legislation that I fiercely oppose. But Universal Discredit and the treatment of Windrush immigrants I find utterly unacceptable. Brexit is just a practical matter to me. And it's practically dumb in truth.
2
@whoknew2273 . But I've been good and everything. I just can't take much more of this populist claptrap. Boris has to go. And his cabinet along with him.
2
@Mondfischli . Please deliver to No 10 Downing Street. C/O Larry the cat. Cheers.
2
Definitely guilty.
2
Why are American right wingers chipping in on this debate? Has someone cried "FAKE" and let slip the hound dogs of misinformation.
2
@SuzLa1 . Wow Susie, two really detailed replies. I'll be honest, I thought it was one of those intellectual troll comments at first. The type of thing that oozes doublethink and justification. Not the case though. I agree with about everything you said, but the consequences of a hard Brexit are still too dire for me. It could go disastrously wrong, for all of us.
2
Nice one Jonny. With you 100%
2
What can the Tories point to and say "We did this"? Brexit? Can't see that winning many votes this time round.
2
@farmerned6 . Are you serious? Thomas Mair was identified by independent witnesses. He stabbed one of them. Mair was sick, but sick in the same way that Islamic terrorists are sick. They're possessed by an insane idea and feel justified in inflicting themselves upon others. So get back to your sheep Ned. I'm beyond your twisted mind games.
2
Silverclod 141 . Oh come on. Woody Johnson (LOL) made the situation very clear a while back. "Everything is on the table." Boris may as well be Trump's man in blighty.
2
You said that Remainers did the ""Sane" thing. Thank you.
2
You can't just dismiss every piece of inconvenient news as fake. Japanese PM said it, end of.
2
@realdiamondshow . The leaked version was titled Base Scenario. And Michael Gove had to confirm this when challenged by Hilary Benn. The redacted and reduced version published by the government is titled "Best Reasonable Worst Case Planning Assumptions." And a better analogy would be that a no deal is like getting on a poorly maintained plane with an unqualified pilot and flying to somewhere that may not even have a runway to land on. How on Earth can you or anyone else guarantee that we won't end up in a worst case scenario? How could any responsible government even risk this?
2
Nicola Sturgeon revealing Base Scenario title. Not leaked document. Just the one that was sent to Scotland. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1177175/Brexit-news-Nicola-Sturgeon-FMQs-SNP-Boris-Johnson-yellowhammer-no-deal-leave-EU
2
@MSDosPrompt ,. Vote Leave shat all over democracy. They were fined twice. Employed a slick tech company to get at people via Facebook. They based their campaign upon bullshit about Turkey and millions for the NHS. Even the money that funded them looks dodgy. So the referendum was easily the most corrupt example of democracy since the days of rotten boroughs.
2
@tubemonks . The referendum was mis-sold and based upon bullshit. Vote leave have been twice fined and employed unacceptable strategies in their campaign. So don't lecture us about democracy.
2
@MOH_AL_K I can agree with you on that much. Though I can't see who else you'd be hinting at.
2
@MOH_AL_K Labour can get a strong majority this time. And change is only possible when governments can push legislation through Parliament.
2
@shamanahaboolist How are Labour the same as the Tories? Starmer has already said that the Rwanda farce will be scrapped. Labour also have a draft manifesto that sets out what they will do. Including how to deal with NHS waiting lists and and how to stop water companies polluting for profit.
2
@Amanda Hughes. Are you trying to convince me or yourself? Plus you are forgetting Parliament's right to a meaningful vote (Why else prorogue?) Also you make the bold " It's what the majority of people want." How do you know? And if that is the case then you should be pushing for a final say referendum. Oh, how's Nairda?
2
@Amanda Hughes. I don't get your point there. Firstly MPs don't simply follow instruction. They have to exercise their own judgment and weigh up the greater good. They are very clever people in general and have to study a lot of detailed information. (Obviously not Boris though) I certainly could not do the job. And secondly they represent everyone. Not just Brexit believers. You and Nairda do seem to have a lot in common.
2
@emm_arr . Thanks for the heads up. Just wish a skilled hacker would reveal these devious shits for what they are. And Boris too.
2
Robert Vaughn . Do you still work for UNCLE? Good try at deflection but it only emphasises how desperate you people are to quell this debate. What are you guys scared of?
2
@thatcherforbrexit1332 . It's called investigative journalism. There was a lot more of it in the days before papers were just filled with bullshit. You sound like some deranged Trumpist that dismisses any unwelcome fact as fake. And your pathetic view of Jo Cox's murder reveals all about you.
2
Cohen called Trump a racist, a liar, and a cheat. Spot on I'd say.
2
May the gods of football be with us on Sunday.
2
@jonathankennedy1715 Fine them broke then nationalise it for free.
2
@gerrabath . His picture is from an old film called Zardoz I believe. And he used a different moniker a year or so back. Don't think he's a pro operator. Just some guy who gets fun out of being annoying.
2
@emm_arr . I detect another Alt-Wrongun.
2
@turquoiseowl . Call when arrests are made. But we all know what this is. And the only folks who are buying it are committed Trumpists. And they'd support Trump anyway. Everyone else just shrugs and thinks BS. Trump is finished. And the truth really will come out in the end.
2
That's why the alt-wrong crazies hate Corbyn and add their bile to these pages. If Corbyn really was a racist they'd support him.
2
+Nark larkin. Yet another lame response. And just to remind you, the topic here is to whether a no-deal is a good idea or not. And I've clearly proved that a no-deal is an accident rather than a plan and that it will not be beneficial to our country.
2
@gw7624 The video is actually about the police dropping the investigation. They tend to do that when no evidence is found.
