And that question applies across the board. Thus the invention, also, of the resume. A short order cook can be trained within a relatively short time on the job. But that does not qualify the person to be a high-level chef.
Society has learned as a matter of necessity to make the distinctions you are challenging as being "unnecessary". That's precisely the same as the point I continue to make: those who have never been to college or university believing themselves qualified to judge the efficacy of college or university education.
I've been seeing these bashers of college and university educations for decades. They are stupid people who don't know what they're talking about, and are too stupid -- or dishonest -- to admit that fact.
