@ryeguy7941 One of the worst things the Republicans did during the last 50 years is remove legitimate history from high school curricula so people like you don't know what you're talking about. It was the REALITY that until such as Reagan that getting a college/university education was worthwhile. And the understanding was that higher education is not about "getting a better job"; it is about learning how to learn, which is a lifelong necessity. But instead of knowing what it is talking about, your generation is a pack of whining babies that blames "Boomers" for your unwillingness to get off your asses and do the work necessary to achieve your goals. You know what the "Boomers" DID do? We got the US out of Vietnam, in which it had been involved since WW II. We got criminals Agnew (look him up) and Nixon out of office. We learned in junior high -- "middle school" -- science, during the late 1950s-very early 1960s -- about climate change. We mainstreamed the ecology -- environmental -- movement and established Earth Day. Take responsibility for your lives: stop blaming everyone else for the predicament in which you find yourself: your prison is of your own creation.

You were born knowing it all, so don't need to be - and can't be -- taught anything. At university one's learns BOTH how to learn and how to UNlearn. When will you begin to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for YOUR INTERPRETATION of events -- AND CORRECTING of the ERRORS in that? @lkgstudios Which FACTION of "Boomers" caused the apparent damage? There were the Republicans, who supported US involvement in Vietnam -- but dodged the draft and refused to enlist. They were always "superior" in their entitled arrogance to those who didn't have their means. To the "Boomer's" who demanded that the US get out of Vietnam. The blind bashing of "Boomers" fails to recognize that NO generation is a monolith. Who TAUGHT the bashers THAT stupidity? Or did they come up with it themselves rather than LEARN -- rather than be "corrected" in their false assumptions and conclusions?

@lkgstudios Yeah -- the SOME FEW of the "Boomers" invented the personal computer, and social media, which the subsequent generations use to bash the negative results, to which the subsequent generations contribute by spewing history- and fact-illiterate bashings of ALL "Boomers". The generations who bash the "Boomers" for the world being "fucked up" -- it's always been "fucked up" because humans are imperfect -- don't think at all. They're pissed because their sense of entitlement -- were they "spoiled" by their parents? -- is out of whack with actual reality. The Federalist Society" -- see the majority on the Supreme Court -- since before there was an Internet had a single white paper on their computer bulletin board; it was titled: "How to Repeal the 'New Deal'". The heart of the "New Deal" is Social Security. The Republicans have pursued a multiprong approach, one of which is to denigrate education with it's canard that one doesn't need to go to college or university to get a better job. Despite the fact that they see and frame everything in terms of money, college and university education -- higher education -- is not a "jobs program". There is more to life than working oneself to death for some ever-elusive goal of wealth. So the flow of wealth has been from the 99 to the 1 per cent. That is the Republican plan: more and more wealth in fewer and fewer hands.
