The question I'm asking is: Is it morally responsible to cling to a false belief. If a thing can't be proven to exist, is it reasonable to insist it does and that there IS "proof"? And how credible is that "proof"? It is lazy to never critically evaluate -- which requires active THINKING -- beliefs as to whether they are true or false, or based on evidence other than emotion and "preference".
