Greenland has polar bears. I love polar bears. But I also love Denmark for its sanity and socialized economy.
8
And he is lying about that.
7
It isn't 50-50. Stop repeating that propaganda.
7
And there are many Republicans who aren't talking but will vote Harris/Walz. And there are Republican women who's husbands are voting Trump, but they are voting Harris. January 6th and Dobbs are the deal breakers.
7
@reginaldgarner4321 It can't be proven there's a "God". And no myopic "Christian" has ever been able to correctly predict what their hypothethetical would or will do. You're arrogance is the opposite of the humility prescribed by Christ.
7
@reginaldgarner4321 YOUR problem is that you can't PROVE there is a "God". And what do you rely on? The unproven and unprovable word of illiterate sheep herders. There is a DIFFERENCE between BELIEF and KNOWLEDGE.
7
I always have because my first vote was anti-Nixon.
7
Protests need to be everywhere.
6
Crockett knocked MTG on her ass with her clever resonant multiple-construct.
6
"We the people" need to accept our responsibility instead of shifting it onto others. We are where we are because "We the people" have bought into the constant Republican jabber about "freedom" while totally omitting REPSONSIBILITY. When they say that the gov't is the "enemy" they mean that "We the people," who are the gov't, are the enemy. And they've been asserting that sedition since it was initiated by Reagan. That is opposite the Founders: they were not anti-rule of law or anti-gov't -- which is "A system of Laws, and not of men" (John Adams). They founded gov'ts because they were PRO-gov't.
6
I put at least months of thought into it, and I've finally flip-flopped: I'm opposed to incoherent elderly speech-slurring rapists and convicted criminals running for president.
6
@deadgolfer6345 It is not how decent and dignified heads of state -- Trump and Vance -- conduct themselves. This is not "two dudes" in a bar that has no world political significance. And it wasn't "two dudes". It was two thugs ambushing one person. Attacking reason and decency.
6
Another whose politics I reject but whom deeply admire is Olivia Troy.. She is one of the very first, very early, coming out against Trump, even while he was still squatting in the White House.
6
Depends on the "kink". See P. Diddy Combs.
6
Is Israel committing genocide in Gaza? Yes or no?
5
And it hurt McGovern, who lost that election. And the irony is that Eagleton was the only one of the 4 candidates for president and VP who had undergone psych. eval. and been found sane. The actual nut, Nixon, got elected.
5
@jerisharpe906 "Thoughts and prayers" haven't changed anything except the subject.
5
The "indirect" "impacts" are direct for those on the outer end.
5
They aren't incompetent. They are irresponsible.
5
They don't want gov't interfering in "religion" -- which is why the separation.
5
@MissLille Consider adding a Ukrainian flag.

@cris_balm7460 “The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.” -- John Kenneth Galbraith "Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect." -- Frank Wilhoit. Conservatism: the accumulation of wealth and power into as few hands as possible.
5
And it continues with the "Never Trumpers," as if Saint Ronnie was the greatest invention since "God".
5
@mightyhummingbird499 Trump is a one-note song. He has nothing else.
5
@a5troboy He's playing POLITICS with race and immigration.
5
@WiseOldTales They were a team working together on becoming wealthy. Then she showed publicly what she was all along, and George got away from her to protect his "reputation".
5
It's a brilliant presentation. Liz Cheney obviously likes Harris. And it appears she has moderated her "pro-life" "conservatism" in the face of the real consequences for women of the overturning of Roe, which Cheney probably wanted to happen. And they begin to sound in much agreement -- especially how Republicans are telling them secretly that they'd be voting Harris/Walz.
5
@PointerGo Bone spurs afflict heels.
5
@patriciagriffin1505 Then you have an imaginary "relationship" with a speculation that can't be proven to exist.
5
She should quote him saying that -- then challenge him to 5 debates. And keep that in his face by repeating it and repeating it and repeating it. Ignore his efforts to avoid: just put it straight to him.

Singapore is a sovereign capitalist nation. Cotton is a 1950's McCarthyite who apparently didn't learn that McCarthy was a fraud and drank himself to death.
4
Powerful and moving. And the adults in the room give BOTH substantial applause. harris and Cheney on the road together gives them time to know each other. I think Cheney admires Harris.
4
Colin Alred is an impressive person.
4
The demand was that the case be dismissed without prejudice so that when Trump is done with Adams they will refile the case because Adam's is a "DEI hire" -- BLACK.
4
Reagan initiated the anti-gov't sedition; and Nixon -- "If the president does it, it's not a crime" -- Reagan, Sarah Palin, and Dick Cheney are most prominently the individuals who established the grounds that eventuated in Trump. I still recall Reagan's backdoor dealings with Iran -- ala Nixon vis-a-vis LBJ's Vietnam peace talks -- in order to undermine President Carter. And his support of right-wing death squads in Central America -- which resulted, in one instance, in the rape and murder of several US citizen nuns. And when the Marine barracks in Lebanon was bombed, he turned tail and ran -- and lobbed a few missiles at Libya in order to change the focus. Reagan was a fraud. "All" Trump did was rip off the fake-genial mask and expose the core "value" of the Republican Party: white supremacism.
4
@WGAGENCY You don't understand DEI: it isn't about blaming the victim, as you do. It is about structures within the system. We don't beat up on people by accusing them of being incapable of opening a locked door; instead we install a door that they can walk through.
4
RFK, Jr., is seriously unwell, and needs to retire and tend to his health issues. Otherwise, he's an environmental lawyer, which somehow, by no explicable means, makes him an expert on vaccines.
4
I want agnostic and atheist clergy to have equal rights to preach to the community, because the community is not strictly about "religion". There is a right to reject religiobullshit.
4
Shapiro and Whitmer need to be governors to protect the election. And we need Kelly in the Senate.
4
The problem with citing to the Founders is that there are those who don't care about the Founders and the facts -- the actual history and law. They are out for themselves, regardless reality. One cites to and quotes the Founders nonetheless in order to REFUTE the false claims, and especially the unconstitutional decisions made especially to empower the far-right religio-Neo-Fascist movement.
4
Zelenskyy was both a head of state and a guest. Trump and Vance acted like trailer trash. One could imagine they were coached by MTG and Boebert.
4
J. D. Vance isn't even from Ohio.
4
He's bitter because his idol, Trump, was expelled from pre-school for refusing to potty train.
4
There actually are racists who actually believe they aren't racists because they are clueless as to what racism is. And that is in large part because of the knowing-racists who deny being racist while spewing that which they know is racist propaganda and engaging in racist attacks. Bob Dylan provided that insight in his song "Pawn in Their Game".
4

4
@cfountain72 They are not "classical liberal"; they position themselves AGAINST Liberalism.
4
Goldberg is a veteran reporter on national security.
4
Like Trump running from incarceration.
4
I'm waiting for them to propose privatizing weights & measures.
4
Bongino and childish insults? That's how it works for Trump: he speaks to the pre-moral.
