@stevenjackson6383 who supports who? 🙃

@gerrymcivor374 just let it be like a bitter divorce...
1
@gerrymcivor374 Well, as Agnetha Faltskog from the pop group ABBA said when they tried to put on a positive spin on the break up of their marriage, "As we all know, there is really no such thing as a friendly divorce." I certainly hope things will progress in a cordial and democratic way, but some of the language already seems a bit heated. When I grew up in Northern Ireland, it only took one side to get its own way and then tensions turned ugly. It was about similar issues with two hotly disputed viewpoints. Let's hope it is a friendly split that will hardly even need a mention in the history books because the transition is so peaceful. I also lived in Israel, but there is still bitterness and strife there. 🙃

@erebusvonmori8050 as long as you're not a Jew
1
Have you ever lied? We are talking as if no one has ever lied in their life. Everyone lies!! 🙃
1
@comercialaviation It means that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Even prominent news presenters were caught breaking rules but they're back on air again. I knew many people weren't keeping all the rules. You may expect human beings to be 100% perfect no matter who they are, but they're often times not, as no one is pefect. As the old adage goes, "to err is divine." 🙃 Let's see how many perfect human leaders it will take to find one that never ever tells a lie!
1
@EnjoySynthSounds How many Prime Ministers do you want in a century? Will that bring stability?
1
First blame the Prime Minister, then blame the party. It wouldn't matter who was in power, there are real problems to be dealt with but the public keep shooting down their leaders once the honeymoon period is over. Politics is so fickle, fuelled by the media, and the people listen! 🙃 As my mother used to say, "You don't bite the hand that feeds you." Watch this space... !
1
Is that an incitement to violence?
1
@AwakenedRaveN Like in Northern Ireland? That violence over idealogy and political views cost my neighbours, family and friends' lives and limbs, if that is what you would also like on mainland Britain. The assasinations and chaos in Sri Lanka and Japan recently just goes to demonstrate where encouraging violence leads to in, as you say "extreme circumstances," (not stoked up by the media of course) as with the current Boris debacle. The British don't know what real tyranny is. They wouldn't be be so mob-like in their criticism and objections, as the first sqeak of any vociferousness would be squashed immediately under any true tyrant. Boris is a pussycat. 😽
1
@AwakenedRaveN To me it seems more incompetence than tryanny. Not having a successful Government does not mean that it is tryannical. It's just I am not used to that term being bandied about so loosely, considering the seriousness and severity of its implications and outworkings. Still one man's view is not always anothers. What name would you give to a 'good' Government?
1
@AwakenedRaveN Yes, the Blitz was an act of tyranny, but when I visited Dresden in Germany they didn't view the decimation of their city as a benign act, but just as bad a result as tyranny. 🙃 I guess by the Irish keeping out of the War that they remained untyrannical by comparison.
1
Nice to hear some honest positive assessment. 🤗 So much acrimony out there.... 🙄
1
@richardh8082 Through rose tinted glasses then? Everyone has told a lie, so that is honesty out the window for a start. Yes, one will find plenty of sarcasm though. My mother used to call it the lowest form of wit. 🙃
1
@davidcolin6519 They're all still liars. That's why the Bible which Parliament forced Boris Johnson to swear upon as a symbol of truth says in it, "Let him without sin cast the first stone." You only have to tell one lie to be a liar, no matter what kind of lie you may think it is. 🤐
1
@Despisefundamentalists-cm5dv What is "FFS"? Is that a child friendly concept? 🤔 Not all adult concepts are child friendly, such as indocrinating children in "Sunday School" after which they become fundamentalist bigots. I'm not a fan of "drag queens" or female impersonators, but they are decidedly safer than the "holy" paedophile clergy in churches! 🤯
1
Do you know anyone who has never lied? Have you? As the old adage says, let him without sin cast the first stone. I think the lies in politics will continue no matter who's in charge. 🙃
1
The title says Biblical prophesy. Surely it should be prophecy with a "c"? With an "s" means to prophesy, but what you prophesy is a prophecy.
1
Will Hamas accept a ceasefire by laying down their weapons and hate against Jews? The war would end if they did.
1
@leihilton9546 : Well, the Scots are hardly graceful to the English! 🤯
1
@malcolmgriffiths006 Would you hand in your notice or wait to be asked to leave? Which action proves the person more guilty. Also when you leave a job you don't get dole!
1
@ABanRocks : Yes, I am sure most of Africa and India would be better off not knowing any English language and promoting their own destinies in their own variable native tongues.
1
@ABanRocks The Irish say the same, yet still speak in English for the most part. If they would all be better off then put it into action like the Israelis did resurrecting Hebrew from basically only liturgical usage to an everyday tongue used in commerce, education & Government. Let India and Ireland follow suit and be "better off" as you say by not using any English. They are both free to chart their own destinity and make their mark on the world, in their own languages of course just like the British did so that they will be much more "better off." British has to borrow money to do anything now, so it's an even playing field for all nations to create wealth and prosperity instead of casting up what happened over a hundred years ago. Spilt milk will only turm sour, so no real point crying over it. Just create some more. There's no British greed or incompetence to stand in the way. They still have resources.
1
@aphaia07 Okay, so India was once wealthy. There have always been wealthy countries and empires but they don't last forever, no matter how great their inventions and ingenuity was. Maybe India should have though of becoming an empire and colonising as other countries did and it might have expanded and become much greater rather than just having takeaway shops and curry restaurants in nearly every country in the world. Britains most popular dish is curry.

Eastern Europeans lived in a divided Germany while there was a border there.
1
@NornIronMan5 Well, you can obviously define Eastern Europe and its borders and conflicts for many out there much better than myself, so my apologies for my comment. I have only lived in Northern Ireland and Israel where borders have always been an issue, and commenting on them. Best to stay out of politics and religion methinks. I'll find a gardening video instead. 🙃 I have only experienced conflict in those two locations, and as you say not ever as bad as your history in Eastern Europe that you cite. Although I met lots of nice Eastern Europeans in Israel.
1
You won't get any balanced reporting on this issue by any of the mainstream media newscasts. You have to see through the bias and one-sided agenda that so overly overtakes the reports.
1
@catparka7698 so of issues and concerns change again after Scotland wins independence will that warrant another (frequent, as you say) referendum to join the union again depending on the highs and lows of circumstances and issues? It's doubtful if unemployment & drugs will go away.
1
@catparka7698 just see how often your new independent Scotland lets you have regular referenda to change their independence, then you might find it becoming a bit more like the Westminster style. They will have the sovereign power to make up the rules.
1
@Fedko3037 : Why women men's clothes in churches calling themselves priests instead of priestesses and bishops rather than bishopresses? And paedophile clergy being de-"frocked"? 🤔 Seems confused enough for me and that's without LGBTQ+ influence! 🙃
1
"Let him without sin cast the first stone." Has anyone out there ever lied? 🤔
1
@minimaxmiaandme.4971 No need to be so cheeky in your reply. It's not just a funded position, but an electorally voted for position, but they started picking and scrutising very early on. 🤬 No one will be able to meet the lofty standards of the judgemental ungrateful British people. Do you think they will find holy angels who have never told a lie? Politicians have feet of clay. He was willing to serve this nation but they just threw it back in his face in constant scrutiny. (🙄🙄)
1
@andrewbravery5114 People also spend a lifetime lying. Even parents, teachers and church clergy regularly LIE to innocent children year in, year out, for years on end wilfully and without remorse or repentance about Santa Claus and his flying reindeer! 🎅 🦌🦌🦌 🎄 LIES! LIES! LIES! LIES! The Bible upon which Boris had to swear says in the last book of Revelation that ALL LIARS will end up in the lake of fire! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 It's not about multiple times. ONCE is enough!! 🤯 🔥🔥 You might think a single lie is acceptable, but you are still a LIAR if you lie just once, no matter what your position in society is. The moral failure is exactly the same, and they are not guiltless. All those people who are objecting are liars too. Will you find a perfect PM that does not lie? 🤔

Laws change at a whim

@danielgonzalezlopez2147 Northern Ireland is a country that fits the bill
1
At least he would deliver! 🙂
1
Why not Anne Robinson?
1
@megha8783 well, we have seen TV personalities become president in the US, so it dies happen! If the people vote it will happen. But God help them after the honeymoon period...
1
@frcluc I think Wales wants out too. Just Emgland on its todd.
1
And show us how to weld rivetts...
1
Yes, it is so obvious in every interview and the slant in their commentary
1
@Infiniteeverything8 humour
1
Is it in labour? Or in any politician? 🙃
1
"Let him without sin cast the first stone." Has anyone out there ever lied? 🤔
1
@MancCow Only because so any people are trying frame him by "catching him out." He has done more honest and good things as a PM than dishonest or bad. Put him on the scales of good and bad deeds and see what side will go down. They hold him to impossible account. I trust if you made it to PM or politics that you would be as squeaky clean under constant scrutiny as your high standards expect and demand. And hand over any personal diaries too. The stress on this man's health must be enormous. They forget he nearly died of Covid! 🤯

@aletavanvuuren5748 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

The IDF has CLEARLY REFUTED THIS with facts on the ground and exact timings in account. Check your research instead of jumping to misinformed conclusions, as the news anchors do.

That's very nice to show appreciation 🤗

@ruthwhall3020 Is that meant to be a compliment to Ukraine?
