I also heard that the psycho cop texted a picture of Tyre to his baby momma after the beating. If that is true and this was some stupid personal beat down by a jealous ex, you can’t attribute that behavior to all cops. Those cops that killed Tyre, in that case would have to be 1) sociopaths and/or b) incredibly stupid. That’s representative, unfortunately, of our collective humanity in this country today, or lack thereof. It’s not particular to law enforcement.

  32.  @oldsklrt1  I’m quite aware of what’s going on. I’m not sure of your reason for including enrollment numbers. The end of affirmative action means that applicants will not be given admission preference because of race. That means it will boil down to performance, GPA, SAT, extra curriculas, etc. The students graduating today, many of whom are of color, will presumably have children who will be legacies to their parents respective schools.

  33. I honestly don’t understand what the riverboat scene has to do with race. What I saw was a pontoon boat wrongfully left in a “no docking zone”, by some entitled brats who didn’t think the rules applied to them. The I saw the co-captain of a CITY riverboat (who would know the rules), after several attempts to notify the boat owners, start to move the pontoon boat himself. This prompted one of the entitled brats to start a fight with the co-captain. How is that about race and not all about narcissism and entitlement?? We have certainly been barraged of late by videos where the race dynamic has been reversed.
