This is not just Netanyahu. The vast majority of Israelis have no problem with the conduct of Israel in Gaza. The Biden administration is of course an accomplice. Israelis are angry with Netanyahu because he has failed to secure the final hostages, not because Israel is bombing hospitals, starving, maiming and killing thousands of women and children. If Israel isn't made to answer for these crimes, there's nothing to prevent them from doing the same in the West Bank, which is defacto a group of "mini Gazas". The irony of "Never Again" being said on the graves of D-Day soldiers, while the very same people are facilitating a genocide.
2
@franjkav I absolutely agree. It's bad. But a stupid mistake, and this was a stupid mistake in a heated moment, is not the same as systematic abuse by people in power.
2
You're doing the exact same thing as the administration: Using Obfuscation, euphemism and outright omission about the horror that Israel is committing. Let me guess "You'll look into it and ask questions about their conduct?" This is pathetic. PSA/PSW is in fact just a grassroot propaganda channel for the mainstream Democratic Party, if you ever had any doubts.
2
Civilians should "leave Gaza". Is that a fucking joke? They've been blockaded for 18 years and denied every freedom of movement.
2
Dan is gaslighting. The Palestinian people are interested in regime change, peace and democratic reform more than anyone else. They're the ones suffering. But the US and Israel are happy to prop up a corrupt regime and keep the Palestinian people divided.
2
The USA: The world's premier "hypocracy"
2
Maybe he was a Mossad asset and committed suicide, you know, like Epstein?
2
Man, the Bharati bigots are out in droves today. I'd take them more seriously if their country wasn't famous for their treatment of women, other religions and ethnicities in their country. Oh, and a bit more hygiene wouldn't hurt either...
2
It's the Occupation, stupid! Until Israel is made to answer for the generations of occupation, apartheid and killings of tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians, there is no one that can believe the US to be a force for good in the world.
2
Are you fucking kidding me? Is it even a question whether Israel (and Hamas) are responsible for terrorism and war crimes?
2
"Aid". Is that what we call 2000 pound bombs used to level an entire block now? That's cute. Or are these the "precise munitions" part of the support to Israel that the US legally, morally and ethically neither can nor tries to defend... It's a fucking joke. No one will ever again look to the US or Europe for moral leadership or the ability to uphold any treaties they are signatories to.

Speak turd, get hurt

In his last year of office Obama authorised the largest aid package to Israel until the one discussed in Congress now. His CoS was Rahm Emanuel, an avid zionist. And his vp was Biden show more horny for Israel than most Israelis. "The relationship between the United States and Israel is sacrosanct" - Barack Obama Sacrosanct! No other US president has uttered such religious language about a foreign country. Obama was beaten like a drum by his zionist friends and their lobby.
1
Zelensky is a fool. He could've easily handled this by dousing Trump with pretty words, giving him a BS medal or honour and made a tiny concession that makes Trump feel like he has won. Canada and Mexico knew exactly how to play this against Trump with the Tariffs. Trump is anything but a good negotiator. He's a petty, venal buffoon.
1
Conclusion: Heh, what?
1
Why are you and "Pod Save America" dodging the fact that the your governments are funding, supporting and arming gen-ocide?
1
What Ukraine is failing to calculate with this maneuver is that Russia can bear the political burden of waiting it out a bit longer. Ukraine cannot bear the price politically or in terms of manpower and valuable materiel. I think this will backfire immensely much like the UAF offensive last year. And it will likely mean the definitive end of any meaningful Ukrainian ability to wage war.
1
I thought they were against people transitioning?
1
I for one welcome our AI overlords instead of this shit show and the illusion of choice and democracy.
1
@itayshani3614 It doesn't justify the murder of innocent civilians, and I never said it did. Nor are the almost daily murders of innocent civilian Palestinians committed by Israel in any way justified. However, no one should be surprised that extremism and hatred is bred into a people when you take everything from them and leave them desperate.
1
Google: "Undemocratic and unelected bureaucrats impeding our sovereignty" Did you mean: British government? Imagine how betrayed the Scots must feel after all this shit. The EU has always been far more democratic than the house of lords and FPP voting system in Britain.
1
Why is Joe Biden supporting and arming a gen o cide? Maybe talk about that? Then we'll discuss a has-been host visiting a dictator...
1
Those estimates are complete and utter bullshit as they can't possibly account for adverse effects on climate (arable land, water, conflicts) and positive unexpected advances in technology (fertility, longevity and health). The 10 billion peak is believable based on available data. The 3 billion number is complete guesswork.
1
Is your democracy for sale? In one word: Israel.
1
Oh, fuck off. No amount of Russian interference can excuse the fact that Americans have chosen Trump to represent them. Face the facts, buddy: Most Americans, at best, don't give a shit about anyone but themselves. A large group are vile, racists and bigots. And some, I assume, are good people...
1
Even Hamas, the terrorist group, admit that they have no quarrel with Jews, only the Israeli occupation and colonial project. Israel tries to frame this as a religious strife, when Palestinians are Christian and Muslim, to elicit sympathy from the more islamophobic side of the West. And it's sadly working.
1
Tough titties. America is doing all this to it itself so I have exactly zero fucks to give.
1
It's not in depth. It's more or less the media arm of the establishment Dems. Baba Barack still has pull.
1
@gf3473 They're just better at the propaganda, friend, that they make you believe that. They're mostly parroting establishment Dems positions. I've never heard anything close to a "controversial" statement from these guys with regard to say Gaza, Ukraine or Taiwan.
1
This guy is an expert, but he's not an expert on the political analysis part. Any interpretation he has on Russia and the possible implications is either guesswork or playing into an established narrative.
1
@AM-fs1je Israel is an occupier, and a brutal one at that. Read up on your history instead of the BS Anglo media serves in your trough.
1
The US have been key in propping up these autocracies. They have for a long time preferred autocrats instead of the democratic will of the people which can't be bribed by US intervention. You made the bed. Lie in it.
1
Remember that Israel lied about the killing of American-Palestinian Journalist Shireen Abu-Akleh, they lied about killing 5 children in 2022 and initially blamed terrorists, and they have repeatedly refused foreign observers and investigators whenever Israel has committed a massacre. I'm 100% sure that Israel killed the people in the hospital. And there will be no consequence because of the US.
1
This is all bullshit. An ICBM is fully equivalent to any "space nukes". This is another ploy to scare the shit out of the population and shift the conversation. Why consider homelessness, reproductive rights or healthcare, when you can fearmonger acquiescence to more war, weapons and conflict. The US is doing exactly what the USSR did in its twilight. Serving corporations and meaningless hegemonic policies instead of securing a better life for its citizens. PS: Where is avowed zionist Jon Lovett? He has been suspiciously absent since the events in the ME started in October. I wonder what he thinks about the atrocities funded and support by the US...
1
You've obviously not followed their reporting on Gaza and their shameful "euphemisms" regarding Israeli crimes. If this was happening in Ukraine, the entire world would be utterly outraged and ready to go to war to prevent further massacres. But against Jewish supremacists, they're silent. Just like the US was on South Africa & Rhodesia, the French in Algeria and the Dutch in indonesia.
1
When both UK party leaders are defending occupation, apartheid and war crimes - that's morally and legally game over. Any ounce of moral nfluence the UK had has evaporated.
1
The US is choosing to burn everything they've tried to build the last 8 decades for a country based on racial supremacy. The US will not recover from this if they continue this course.
1
That is such a sad, pathetic statement. I think there are many more Indian provinces that would seek independence if you Bharati bigots continue your racist agenda, than anything that could happen in Canada. Mmm, this cheeseburger sure tasted good. Someone you used to pray to, probably...
1
This is a blessing in disguise. It shows Europe and Asia that we can't rely on the Americans anymore. Except for Israel, of course. They can ask for anything, anytime and US politicians will always bend the knee for the zionist war criminals.
1
Sure. An Syria's oil belongs to Syria, yet there are still US troops and bases in Syria "protecting" their oil fields. An how do you feel about American money staying in America instead of going to Israel to murder children and bomb hospitals? That's a big one right there, considering Biden has a case pending in the ICC now...
1
I'm sitting here in Europe and watching the perpetual re-ignition of the Turd known as the UK government. And I'm surprised by how your citizens haven't called for their resignation (if not their heads!). It boggles the mind they've allowed them to stay in power for 13 years.
1
Y'all need a basic education in critical analysis, media literacy and civics. Then again, if I could get stupid fucks to vote directly against their own interests to make me richer, why would I do anything about it...
1
Journalists can interviews anyone they want. It's called a free press. Just as you people have the right to carry water for the corporate Dems and their actions in the Middle East.
1
Ah, yes, Lovett. The avowed zionist that have spoken absolutely zero words about Gaza. He's a hypocrite at best. But more probably he's the same brand of monstrous "liberals" that value wearing a tutu more than children killed and maimed.
1
3500 civilian casualties, a third of them children is NOT "accidental or collateral" damage. More children have been killed in Gaza than the entire Ukraine war... But I digress. The very act of blockade is a war crime, and cutting off basic supplies like water, fuel, food and medicine is an act of pure cruelty and should be prosecuted as such. Sadly, we all know that US and Israeli war criminals never answer for their crimes.
1
Fox won. 787 million is pocket change for the corporation. And they had them dead to rights. If you can freely let a "news" channel lie, what hope is their for an informed citizenry in a functional democracy.
1
Regarding Gaza: You're just reading any old unverified, uncorroborated statement, aren't you? Can you honestly believe the circumstantial claims Israel has made on every turn that always seem to pivot the discussion away from the horror they are inflicting on Palestinians, after all the debunked "testimonies" and claims that proved to be false by the Israeli government? Have a bit of critical thinking, please...
1
It doesn't matter. Starmer is the new Boss, same as the old one. Fix the election system or the UK will continue its descent into a crypto-fascist oligarchy, just as the US they're trying to emulate in every way. Proper British, innit?
1
It's shameful how the UK is supporting wholesale slaughter of civilians in Gaza. Israel is by definition not "defending itself" as it's occupying land that is not theirs by international law.
1
Trump is a horror. I agree. But the sheer schadenfreude among the "Demsphere" reminds me of the "grab em by the pussy" reveal in 2016. It shows me that they haven't learned a goddamn thing. The media keep providing a daily platform for Trump, billions worth in airtime. Come November, Trump will be stronger from this, not weaker. The fact is that the trial was pushed through to enable a verdict before the elections. It can be justice and politically motivated at the same time, and it will hurt Biden. Especially when all the dirt from 2020 surrounding Hunter Biden can no longer be suppressed in a few months.
