  1. Hi Vanessa l hope ur all well? It's amazing how many safety measures are in place for flooding in that area. Your vlog highlights how much of our wild birds are in danger it will be such a shame if they were to vanish, such great photography of the birds going about their every day life 😀. I remember watching Foxes afloat last year while they where on the Thames they also had to do a tight turn across the river, and they also had to turn lower down and come up against the tide to make the turn well done to ur husband👍. What a very interesting vlog again Vanessa 😊 Full of local history and views of great scenery even if they were up hills and of course the wild life and vegetation, u make it all so interesting and enjoyable to watch l bet u were missed when u left teaching.   3. What a lovely surprise to see you on the Severn Railway chugging along admiring the beautiful views, so many places to stop off at but lack of time to explore them all. The old trains are a sight to see with their plume of white smoke rising in to the air, l remember many years ago going on trains and carriages like this with there musky smell of and also stale cigarettes how things have changed. You are cruising in a very historic part of the Midlands and giving us a insight of yester years, thank u for a great vlog. Have a great weekend. 🦢🦢🪶

  4. Good evening Vanessa what a lovely early morning cruise, the smells of the may blossom and cow parsley fragranting the air, its the best part of the day for me. Alice Grace is looking very nice with all ur flowers blooming 👍 and ur flowering fender, all I've got is a few late flowering winter pansies and chives and a variety of lettuce.   5. Good evening Vanessa what a great episode this week so full of beauty and excitement of the cut, so many very helpfull people u meet on the canal side ready to help in times of need. I know the narrowboat holds its heat in summer but what kind of temperature🎚🤒 do u have to endure inside ? At least Zephyr had the right idea to keep cool by having a swim😀.   6. I liked the inner children's side of u coming out doing the dance which l found amusing, little did u know that those few seconds are priceless and took me by surprise 🤣🤣🤣. When it comes to instructions l too are use less but if they came like ikeas (pictures) u would of been through the locks much easier. The daisy is really coming on now and looks great 😄.   8. A little bit of the rough (ice) with the smooth in this weeks vlog better than pouring rain and wrapped up well with ur extra large scarf, how the canal looks different when it's frozen. What lovely shots of the sun set and the moon especially with the swan/duck flying in a silhouette in front of it, l bet when u saw it it reminded u of ET lol🤣 l know l did. U have the knack Vanessa of producing such amazing one off shots of wild life, a good 10 out 10 for the poem and its about a water tap😄. Thank you Vanessa and Zephyr for a interesting vlog🙂 I've had a very stressful week it's been nice to unwind and watch the vlog and chill and relax 😀👍 Hares are very interesting aminals and fast with it, l use to see them dart across the fields when they saw me with my dogs. You definitely see a wide range of wild life on your travels l love the small muntjac deers that hide against the hedge rows, Thanks again take care till next week🙂xx

Good evening Vanessa and big thank u for a very interesting vlog😊 so full of interesting facts and beautiful shots of the church stained glass window and the long tailed tit in the multi Berry bush such a mass of colours. A well done to Mr M for repairing the prop shaft when l heard the squeak l thought it was ur fan belt slipping, I'm glad u were able to show us the shaft slipping.   11. Good evening Vanessa sorry to hear the parts haven't arrived but it has given u a chance to walk part way up the Shropshire a little way 😊. We'll coming to the point of year were the sun is not producing enough solar, mid November till early February so its charging off the engine time. If u Google state of charge graph for lead or lithium batteries it u show u what volts at what percentage ur battery is, also its colour coded to warn u that u could be damaging them by depleting them to much. Ur vlog was very in depth with the costs and everything was covered, l have noticed that l have been collecting seasoned wood for a while and storing it under a tarp to reduce costs. This afternoon l noticed 7 King fishers on the canal near me what amazing sight , much easier to see in the autumn foliage. I hope u get things sorted soon and hope u have a lovely weekend. 🐕💰⛽️🪵🍁🍂

  13. Good morning from a bright sunny Telford🔆. What a wonderful vlog Vanessa the colours reflecting across the water the green plumage shining from the drake what a sight to see. This vlog has brought a lot of delight of the life I'm missing due to covid, how l miss just watching the wild life and boats drift by at my local canal (Norbury Wharf shropshire union). U might only have a cruising distance between water points but what a lovely place to be stranded in lock down with 24/7 nature on ur door step so jealous 😊. Take care and stay safe till next week. Good evening Vanessa l have just finished tuning in my TV tablet etc on the boat and was having a few teething problems, after installing the wifi on my hoat and the notifications we're saying that you hadn't done a video this week 😢 it then updated and then said u had hooray🎉🎉.. what a nice river it looks to cruise on 😊 l hope the cows didn't attempt to eat ur flowers on the fender or off the boat Yet again there were amazing shots of insects and colourful scenery and great views from the top of the hill.   16. Good evening Vanessa what a very interesting vlog this week😊, with Piece hall and it's history of the cloth making industry. I remember the big freeze of 63 and having to feed the birds to help with their survival, l think it happened again a few years later when again we were asked to feed the birds. How interesting about this big freeze also helped with the decline of commercal boats. As always lovely shots and interesting facts on the birds, it's always a pleasure to see ur hard work make a vlog of beauty. Hopefully this weekend won't be so bitterly cold, oh by the way that cake looked delicious 🧀☕️🐕

  20. Good evening Vanessa It's been avlog of 2 halves this week😢, bad Internet due to the storm last night l had to abandon due to buffering but well worth the wait. As usual an interesting fun and fact filled, beautifully shot scenes of the birds of prey and the King Fisher diving for his dinner. You portrayed the Brontie sisters life in a lovely way, how lucky we are today to be able to live longer than our 20s something we take for granted. It was nice to see Coventry by night with all the reflections of lights and the wonderful coloured graffiti wildlife pictures, such a shame about the trolleys in the canal l thought that was a thing of the past 😒. The shots of the wild life were spectacular showing the finest detail. Have u had a new camera? Eack week u produce a excellent vlog then all of a sudden l felt like l was in the film "honey l Shrunk the Kids" looking at the beauty of the butterflies and crane flys like as if l was their size.   31. Evening Vanessa😊, how nice you name the swans l just call them Mr & Mrs, unless their tapping the hull to be fed in the early hours then their called something else 😂😂. I think this winter will be remembered for the flood damage. I chuckled to my self when zephyr got a spurt on when you mentioned treats, funny how dogs facial expression changes aswell 😊.   32. I'm sorry to hear the death of ur uncle🙏 l think when u lose a loved one u try and put ur own life in2 perspective and worry about "what if", l think every one does once the grey hairs come. If ur fit and healthy enjoy the wonderful life u have among the beauty u have near u, an ever changing canas for u to paint draw and write about that retirement bungalow a long way off lol. Did u have yellow stained hands after picking the dandelions? I did when l made some dandelion wine in the 80's took ages for it to come off, and l dreaded wetting the bed that night after the old wives tale 🤣. Thank u for all hard work producing the vlogs . The sofa looks great always makes sense to have a sofa bed for guests, I've only got captain chairs at the moment so it will have to wait as I'm having a pram cover made after Easter which will be a god send. How you have the patients to find these little insects amazes me u must have a second sense, ive hardly seen any catterpillars this year and as for the Scarlet Pimpernel flower l throught it was just folktale. We seek it here we seek it there with it being so small by wonder they couldnt find it, but what a lovely flower and after all these years l thought it was a french aristocrat lol😂. Watching u on Alice Grace is making me jealous has im home bound at the moment last week l had a episode were l lost my memory, l was admitted to hospital for tests and are still waiting for further mri scan so in the meantime been advised not to drive😞. Im feeling a lot better and nearly my old self but my doctor wants to know what caused it. Hope u have a wonderful weekend 🦢🦆🐛🐜🐞🍁🍂🐝🏄‍♂️

A nice little bore for u both to experience although only a small one , it's amazing on a strong bore how how far it goes up the severn 🏄‍♀️🏄. I enjoyed the show motion shots of the ducks and the droplets of water, l have never seen a red kite in its nest before but have seen many flying in Aylesbury and their piercing screech.   46. What amazing shots of the Barn owl flying so elegantly they are such beautiful birds. It reminded me of when l was driving through the country side early one dawn morning and a barn owl was flying within feet of the drivers window, so effortless as it flapped his wings so beautiful markings on his/her feathers. This was one of my best high lights of seeing nature at is best which l cherrish. The names of boats has always fascinated me and why people name them as they do, l think there should be a plaque giving the reasons of the boats name on the boat. The close shots of the dragonflys were wonderful seeing their delicate wings flapping away, on the mindful cruise at the end the music made me feel as if l was floating along with u.
