  2. A lot of beautiful shots of the wildlife showing them in their glory, the horse looking over the wall wondering what's all the fuss about. Each day is a day of changing views no two days are the same , sunny one minute then hail living on the water is like being in ur own nature programme . How ur boat boxes are starting to blossom into colour are u having veg this year? I like when u talk to ur self when things don't go to plan ๐Ÿ˜‚ l wonder if u have to edit out any naughty words ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚, l tend to go into panic mode when people are around when l do some thing wrong.   3. ย @themindfulnarrowboatย  The area now is full of new housing estates but the old pub near my home was next to the canal, there are still little signs of the canal contours. This area was mined for coal and lime stone, but instead of locks they had inclines were one boat would use another boat to counter balance each other to rise and lower them selves to the canal height.

What a beautiful vlog this week Vanessa so full of well taken shots of the wild life, amazing dust views as you cruised down the river the shots of Alice Grace struggling through the weed reminded me of the waters after a tsunami. I'm glad it was just a heating issue when the engine stopped, hot weather and all that weed don't mix. Well what a shock l had when Mr Mindfuls hairy legs appeared l won't tell u what l thought , u would clip me round the ears if u could read my mind ๐Ÿช’๐Ÿคฃ. But honestly really enjoyable viewing

Yet again great shots of the wild life along the river, u must have good patience and observation to spot the small dragon among the river bank grasses and flowers . What a refreshing vlog Vanessa ๐Ÿ™‚ Do u think Zephyr was telling u that there were truffles under the soil, as for his face it reminded me of a child eating ice cream all around their face but in Zephyr's case mud ๐Ÿ˜„.   10. What a great vlog Vanessa๐Ÿ˜€ it made me feel as if l was on the boat with u . Such a beautiful cruise showing the lovely scenery has u gently floated past it, with early spring flowers blossoming and the tweets of the birds. Nice story of the midwife who delivered so many babies and still remembered by so many, fancy going to school by a canal so close to nature not like schools of today. I personally think the monkey should be replaced with one of ur diary pictures of a bird maybe a heron or swan, but l think it will make Alice Grace unique ๐ŸŽจ. The cracking of the ice and icicles on the locks shows how lovely canals can be in winter but also dangerous at the same time, Zephyrs face was a picture when she wanted to play ball with u a look of go on mom play with me aha. I think a otter would look perfect on the other side of Alice Grace l can remember ur excitement when u saw it, so l think it will be my option. Hello Vanessa what a very in depth journey u did in the tunnel describing the experience, Foxes afloat covered this tunnel a few months ago but u covered it so well loved the horror face and heart beating effects lol๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Was it just the filming but the other boat seemed to be going rather fast and slightly over aswell or what the insurance would say 50 50 .   18. What a different kind of Cruising this week with boats of all sizes and so many bridges to go through. Dainty little cottages with a church to match in the distance the cotswolds and the forest of Dean , bat's in ww2 pillar box seagulls flying low there's never a dull moment with the Mindful Narrowboat.   21. Good evening Vanessa what a nice cruise with u and the ducks this week, it must be nice to have the canal just for your self not having to move over to let another boat through. U had a good work out with that lift bridge l bet u wouldn't like to do many of them in a day, its a blessing having the cratch/pram cover it gives u that added needed space and most of all keeping the mud out of Alice Grace. U put it into a nutshell living on a narrowboat opens ur eyes to lots of things besides wildlife and beautiful scenery, but now the waterways are way of life for people who wish to slow down and live life away from the rat race and don't want to be part of the system. I don't think there has been a vlog that l haven't liked u have a way of showing ur life down to a tee, as usual u produced some amazing scenes of the Reservoir reflecting into the water and of course the insects and birds. Each week l eagerly wait for cuppa time and try and guess how many biscuits ur going to have 2 3 4, but this week a mountain of cone snacks which threw me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. What a eventful week u have had in this weeks vlog water leaks are the worst, at least u found them quick and fixed them fingers crossed there still going strong. What a wonderful selection of insects this week u managed to capture on film, l was thinking the other day while sitting in my garden that l hadn't seen many butterflies on my buddleia bush this year and neither any caterpillars what is happening? This is my favorite time of the year as for natures display of colours whether ur cruising walking or even in a car l take advantage of their display, because as soon as the frosts appear the leaves fall and the delights have gone for another year. Well l think u got a steal of a buy with ur upcycled coat it looks great on u and definitely goes with the zebra wellies . Good evening Vanessa what a difference a bit of sunshine makes. l did think of the old saying don't cast a clout till May is out and there u were discarding ur jacket, but it was soon back on not much of heat from the sun yet its still brrrrr in places ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Hello Vanessa thanks for a enjoyable vlog and funny in parts, as soon has u had started with the train crossing the canal and the man waving from the carriage door l felt as if l should wave back lol๐Ÿคฃ. Good of Mr Mindful to come to ur rescue when u fell in a true Clark Cable of the cut minus the sword between his teeth. Do u think it would possible to make sloe gin using non alcohol gin ? Or does it need the alcohol to help ferment the sloes. I remember when l was a small boy travelling on the old trains and carriages how the seats where covered in the same covering as the buses of the day, one thing travelling on a old train of 2day is that they don't smell of stale cigarettes and sticky floors where your shoes stuck to the floor as you walked. At the end of the train there usually was a conductors carriage were he sat next to his wood stove . Isn't it funny when people say it's easy to push the boat over but goes pear shape when u attempt it making u feel stupid, but if u were left to ur own devices u would of done it without shouts of directions making u flummoxed.
