(0:50) Reminds me of a video I watched about human courtship. Traditionally, men approach women. Japan is in deep trouble if the men do not step up.

It sounds like both sides are slipping a bit to the extreme side. It is true that Japan needs to embrace some new ideas. Some of the cultural and business practices are holding back Japan's ability to innovate and grow. The current course is only going to lead to more economic hardship. On the other hand, it is true that those who are not citizens have less incentive to stay with Japan during the bad times and not all diverse ideas are good. The culture can be destroyed by too much diversity as well. What Japan needs to do is to critically self asses itself and ask which traditions they should keep and which should be abandoned or modified. If possible, high quality foreign talent should be attracted to move to the country and become citizens. Their skills will be useful in Japan's restructuring.

(6:44) Sadly, Kaho is correct. I highly doubt many Japanese parents would be ok with their son marrying an former porn star. Knowing this, many dudes probably would date her just to get into her pants. After some fun, they probably would break up with her.

I find the third part the most interesting(9:33). If a client does not need sex and is looking to have emotional needs filled, why go to them? If a client just wants to talk, why not go to a hostess club? If he wants to go on a trip or watch a movie, then he can go to rent a girlfriend service company. As a bonus, using a rent a girlfriend service is probably better for a man's reputation than going to a prostitute.
5
I wonder why Churches do not do more missions in Japan? It sounds like an ideal place for missionary activities. There is a low Christian population and there are needs the church can fulfill. Some of these needs can be fulfilled by anyone willing to go over there. There is no need to worry about safety because Japan is one of the safest countries on the planet.
5
(2:35) Curious, I wonder who are 60% local Japanese clients. The prices are not exactly cheap(3:10)(3:14). Could the average Japanese man afford those prices? If not, then it must be those in the upper class. These upper class Japanese probably use their influence to deter any law enforcement or political actions taken to help these women.
5
I am not convinced that AI girlfriends will affect the birthrate. There needs to be more information on the type of men that go to AI girlfriends. Who are these men? Are these men that would be desirable prospects for the average Japanese woman? Do they want children? If given help, can they become desirable men?

There is something important not being discussed, the dating process. Can anyone from Japan tell me how long dating process is? How many people does someone usually date in Japan until they find someone suitable for marriage? What factors could prolong the dating process? If it takes years to find someone, then young woman need to take that into account when they are deciding when to get married.
5
Why not add an age and veterancy clause? The new law applies to anyone 22 years old and younger. After a woman turns 23, the new law applies only to her first porn video. After her first porn video is released, she loses all the protections of the new law. Anyone who already has 4 years of experience automatically loses this right as well. This will encourage the porn industry to focus on recruiting girls who are serious about adult film work.

It is sad that hikikomori believe they might snap and hurt somebody(4:04). I can see why they struggle to seek help.
4
I can understand why Japanese people are eager to practice their English with foreigners. There is little opportunities to effectively practice English. Is there computers in Japanese schools? Perhaps Japanese schools can set up some kind of zoom meeting where Japanese students will be able to practice English with foreign students.
4
(1:20) I noticed Pokémon did not make the list. Is Pokémon less popular in Taiwan compared to other big animes?
4
This video reminds me of a quote from Evangelion: "Humans constantly feel pain in their hearts. Because the heart is so sensitive to pain, humans also feel that to live is to suffer. You're so delicate, like glass especially your heart."
4
(10:29) I am not surprised that his mom was against the marriage. Because Mariko is close to 40 and already has two kids, there is little chance Kousei's mother will have a biological grandchild.
4
You forgot to add the seventh point. She does not like gyaru.
4
I like how these guys are thinking about being good fathers to their sons. It is sad that the culture will not let them be apart of their kids lives. Personally, I believe the biggest issue is the after work drinking parties. Constant drinking takes away a man's time away from his family. He cannot be the man of the house if he is drunk.
4
This could be a problem when you consider Japan's declining birth rate.
4
I am curious if Kei could speak English(4:26). She married an American man who does not speak any Japanese(4:46). Did she think her marriage could survive the language barrier?
4
If tourists are dispersed to rural areas, what will prevent them from having the same problems as cities? Small businesses will still struggle because they will not have the tech(2:35) or labor to serve the influx in tourists.
4
What exactly is Ishiba's plan to create an Asian Nato(5:14)? It sounds like he is just saying that as a way to get votes. There are many problems with his idea. How exactly is he going to get North and South Korea to get along? The war between them is technically not over and they are still taking swipes at each other. What about China and the Philippines? How is he going to solve the territorial dispute? More importantly, how many concessions is he going to make Japan make? The scars of World War 2 still linger. A year ago, The Japan Reporter did a video on why Koreans and Chinese still hate Japan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYwJLeYEWbs). Japan is going to have to overhaul how it teaches its own history if the country wants to mend fences.
4
I am intrigued by the girl in Akita(26:56). I am not surprised that rural Japan does not have the same resources and education as the cities. This may be a problem because this encourages people to move from the countryside to the city. Villages will disappear at a faster rate.
4
(8:23) Basically, hikikomori are not afraid of showing their honne once you get to know them.
4
Does anyone know how long should a couple date before they get married in Japan? Because people are so busy with work (0:46), I suspect there is a lengthy dating period before marriage.
4
Truly inspirational, he overcame his dark past & has redeemed himself in the eyes of society. His story reminds me of Naruto. It is truly difficult for someone to overcome their past in Japan. If they are able to, they get the highest admiration.
4
Critic: He doesn't have any Japanese friends(13:02). Kaho : Do I count? I am a sort of a regular here.
4
I noticed none of the women mentioned money. Are they ok dating a guy that make the same or less than them?
4
(8:30) The police taking this kind of attitude is disturbing. She later claims that normal interactions are perceived to be flirty. I am glad that Mikuno is such a confident woman that perverts steer clear of her. If she was not bold, I have doubts that the police will handle the situation correctly.
4
(9:51) This is not surprising. There are good quality yuri and yaoi manga in Japan.
4
It sounds like these underground idols need a day job in order to survive and support their career.
3
I am a little confused on why some people are saying this(5:59). It does not look like the governments are strong arming people into using their services. Are the matchmaking services offered by municipalities and cities mandatory?
3
At what point in a relationship would a Japanese person reveal their face to their partner? I figured it would be the same time a Japanese person should their honne.
3
(14:12) Does anybody know Tetsushi Sakamoto's strategy for dealing with lonliness? Is he copying what the United Kingdom is doing? They were the first country to appoint a loneliness minister.
3
(6:40) How have these standards increased? Does anyone know what are the new standards or how have the standards increased for Japanese women?
3
Curious, do these matchmakers ask the woman if they are ok with dating a low income worker or non-regular employee? I know the matchmaker said he gives low income men a shot at meeting woman(4:37), but do these woman know they are meeting a low income man?
3
(7:45) Is there no way of seeing a school counselor anonymously?
3
I thought a perfect secret to this video. You should interview a Japanese/Korean couple.
3
It's too bad there is not a cheap way to bus people form rural villages to Tokyo. This would relieve the demand for housing in Tokyo.
3
(8:14) You asked the most relevant question Nobita. The argument for these school rules are to create this sense of unity, but at what cost? Is it worth people thinking it is ok to be abused by black companies? What about girls permanently damaging their hair in order to dye it black? How about teaching boys it is girls fault if they cannot control themselves?
3
There is no dating apps for disabled people in Japan?
3
(19:33) Does this extend to love hotels. On Chris Broad's channel, he and Connor kept going to various love hotels. They did not appear to experience any discrimination. Is this normally the case or was their experience an exception?
3
I was a bit surprised the younger generation does not want to purchase porn. Maybe not on DvDs, but I thought they would subscribe to a porn site or download it digitally. This would avoid the common situation of the mom or girlfriend cleaning the apartment and finding dirty magazines. Additionally, some Japanese girls may not feel comfortable that their man is going to a soapland or hostess club. A man may want to purchase porn to get release if he does not want to buy hentai.
3
I did not know there is actually no actual sex involved in Japanese porn(5:57). This is a good way to prevent STDs from spreading.
3
(13:31) I take it clothing featuring anime characters, logos, or mascots are not in high demand in Japan. Because people are afraid of being perceived as otaku. I take it the clothing featuring anime are only worn in the privacy of their homes.
3
It is a bit of a problem when certain groups of gaijin are rude or break the law, and the blame is placed on all gaijin.
2
(5:27) This makes sense. Women 40 and beyond do not have to worry about their appearance as much as the younger generation.
2
(5:54) I wonder if the 30% Japanese who are breaking the rules are influencing the foreigners to break the rules. If a tourist observed a local drinking on the sidewalk, they might assume that drinking on the sidewalk is ok.
2
(6:58)This reminds me of your video on gyaru. They are commonly perceived as promiscuous when they are the most loyal woman in Japan.
2
The number of people at these group dates are ridiculous. You will not be able to get to know someone if there hundreds of other people involved. They should not go beyond 20 people in my opinion. Hopefully, this will cut away anyone who is not seriously interested in a relationship.
2
I am not convinced that Gaijin is a racist word. Who exactly is claiming the term is racist? Is it the half Japanese, Foreign workers, or tourists coming to Japan?
2
I suppose I can see it happen if the young guy has only a few people he can talk to in Tokyo.
