  9. I had never heard of this woman but what a warrior for old-fashioned journalism she is, the type that asks questions others don’t. She’s absolutely right about the BBC and other institutions covering up and committing abuse. All allegations must be rigorously investigated or else they come across as unhinged conspiracy theories. It takes a fearless person to expose these well protected people. You and Sonia are well equipped to make journalism an honourable profession again.

  10.  @Mica272 Agreed as someone with a learning disability and mental health issues. Work brings purpose and even if someone is unable to cope in the traditional workplace, they could volunteer. In other words, put something back into the system that supports you. The problem is that many Muslim immigrants won’t contribute to the host society by working or volunteering because they genuinely despise the host society.

This case is proof of the evils of self-ID and so is the “Marie” Childers case and yet when I confront trans lobbyists and allies with this they still say it doesn’t happen.

She does get a disproportionate amount of online hate and death threats though and the trans lobby has sometimes successfully (smashing the windows of a restaurant she’d been in) and sometimes unsuccessfully (the Hogwarts game) tried to cancel everyone who’s been involved with her. And as you reminded us, they’ve been doing this since 2018. By contrast they’ve pretty much given up on Dave Chapelle even though his material was harsher than anything she’s said.

But there is some basis for some of them and it’s a wonderful thing that Sonia (and you Andrew) are willing to research, ask questions and get proof for allegations.   21.  @Susanmugen The first trans person I met was in 1991. Since then, when I was part of the alphabet mafia, I would have met close to 100, maybe more. I dated an MtF and an FtM. I will say 20% of those I met were lovely, though somewhat demanding over people’s time. The other 80% were actively hostile to women and lesbian and gay people generally because they couldn’t accept that not all spaces included and in fact centred them. Several over the years were in litigation or complaints processes against women-only, particularly lesbian-only spaces and this was in the 90s. Others were suing or complaining about their employers, ex-wives, you name it. Some went from lawsuit to lawsuit but managed to avoid being named as a vexatious litigant because of their trans, hence victim status. One I knew was suing the charity he’d volunteered in for three weeks because a customer (not a fellow volunteer) in the charity’s op shop had called him a man in drag and had caused him to develop PTSD. Not one of trans identifying man I met would accept anyone else’s feelings or fears in relation to them being in every women and girls’ space but they wanted us to be their human shields against other men. Not one trans identifying female failed to get offended by being “misgendered” when they looked nothing like a man. If I’d never known a trans person in my life I’d probably still adhere to “be kind” as opposed to being truthful. I’m sure many other people who will watch this have met trans people and that’s why they’ll be watching this.

  26. @DEUS_VULT_PRIMEI think we all have our moments of despair, in my case fighting trans ideology as well as Jew-hatred. It took one rally to be more hopeful that not everyone is antisemitic and a few small rallies to convince me that in my country (Australia) will eventually not be captured by trans ideology, even though for us it will take 10 years longer than the UK did. Don’t judge him (or anyone) for being pessimistic sometimes. Note AP and many others are still fighting 💙💙🤍🤍

Even if it does, trans identifying men need to advocate for trans spaces, not use women and girls as validation objects or human shields.

Why can’t men who think they’re women and women who think they’re men realise that, while they might feel that way, they should respect the majority who want the dignity and safety of single-sex spaces and sports? And why aren’t they empathetic to, say, mothers who want to be acknowledged as such, not birthing parents and other transgressions of language? How hard can that be?

  34. Detransition stories are important generally, but this intelligent young woman fell not only for trans ideology but pro-Palestinian ideology as well. I can see why actually living in a male-dominated society is alluring and most trans identifying women don’t ever leave their queer community bubble. Glad she’s free of both ideologies and hope her life stays adventurous but safer.

Fans are very savvy and have a lot of historical facts at their disposal, so a presenter should know their history, technique/game plans and trivia as well. Basically you want a nerd who’s not obviously affiliated with any club who knows how to keep a long match interesting. The minimum requirement of being an ex-footballer doesn’t count, because many of them are terrible at it. I’d say mental aptitude tests as well, to see how they handle pressure and criticism.

The history of Islam has been continuous conquest, slavery, forced protection tax (jizya) and apartheid. Scholars like Yasir Qadhi happily admit the warlike spread of Islam. Not all Muslims are evil; most are better than their religion (Indonesia and Malaysia are somewhat democratic) but in countries like Pakistan, rioters tear people apart for allegedly desecrating the Quran. Ex-Muslims in most Muslim countries risk the death penalty or prison and torture. Maybe that justifies a chip on the shoulder. Not just ex-Muslims of course; Hamas general Mahmoud Ishtiwi, suspected of homosexuality, was imprisoned and tortured for a year and then executed by al-Qassam members. So you can falsely claim Islam as a peaceful religion, but we have better access to knowledge now thanks to the Internet; most of us have read the Quran at some time and maybe the Hadiths and we have the daily record of Muslims committing acts of violence against each other and the rest of the world. I haven’t even mentioned surveys of social attitudes everywhere in the Ummah, the Middle East to the West. So it’s a lot harder to lie to us anymore. Stick to trying to influence dumb leftists and your allies Queers for Palestine.
