Invasion - "an incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity."
1
Trump is imposing more sanctions than he UK. But I thought they were in bed together VICE? All these getting away with murder reminds me of Clinton.
1
Piranha Plus the definition I found also incompasses unforseen as part of an accident. I believe this was completely foreseeable. I belive she was negligent. They do need to do something to this girl, her actions caused this to happen. If anything her mom is an accessory. Just like I don't leave my bank card with pin number lying around. She shouldn't have left a completed voting form. But let's say you are right. It was an accident... Many other crimes are the result of an accident. I don't see why this should be any different. Could make a good comparison to submitting taxes incorrectly after having them completed by a 3rd party.
1
marshall9485 Maybe. What federal law/statute is Trump violating and what is the average sentence handed down by the courts when found guilty?
1
I disagree with the premise. I do believe there are reasons that should that abortion should not be allowed.
1
Reminds me of Gavin mcinnes
1
What are each of their policy ideas/ promises? Leni could be calling for mass arrest and incarceration
1
As long as they are the most qualified candidate and have the support of voters, all the power to them.
1
This is why the left needs to not embrace hampering free speech. People who are innocent are caught in the crossfire.
1
@ZEEK You said most developed nations have banned ALL guns. This is simply not true. How do you create laws that are clearly against the 2nd amendment and will get thrown out immediately?
1
@ZEEK wearing a seatbelt was not in the constitution. There is a reason why democrats do not push gun control. It was and still is a losing issue, especially if you are suggesting an all gun ban.
1
@ZEEK Nope. Never said that.
1
@Aaaaaaaaaaaaa558 bd?
1
Seems to me that he speaks like that because he trying to emphasize the point or his stance on the topic. Possibly also trying to give himself validation. It's strange to say so often because he is giving his opinion when he talks. Although I know it won't happen, Vice, I wish you would cover the government and officials in a non partisan fashion. It would make you stand out as a news organization and you wouldn't just be another group trying to make one side look bad well not addressing the othersides short comings. Stick to policies, that is what important.
1
Half of them aren't bad ideas
1
@sergeboudreault1627 Yeah i was in BC and very close to an ex school site. The history was taught and well known. Possibly Ontario curriculum did not include it. Just like they don't treat Remembrance Day as a Stat holiday for some silly reason.
1
Kenzer 161 Sure, not everyone has the expertise to run an investigation but this almost like a make work project.
1
@AmaniLindsey That is fine too IMO. If they are charging a reasonable price, good. If they are not find somewhere else. And yes there is always somewhere else. Even in this video it is clear. The government has collected money and does not have a system to give it back when required.
1
@kronikkronolov9793 You both sound incredibly selfish if you ask me.
1
Why would the prosecution ask about historic sexual abuse? That would hurt their case
1
Not refugees. Refugee = a person who has been forced to leave their COUNTRY in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.
1
Eidelmania Do you see how COUNTRY is in caps? These people didn't leave their COUNTRY. They had to move into a motel after their homes burnt down, mostly in the same community.
1
Eidelmania I disagree. It's just not the proper word to use. They could have called it displacement, homeless, or something else, just as easily. In this case, I think that VICE has a certain narrative and wants to keep following it. They have talked about climate refugees in the past and this is what they are providing as an at home example, it's simply not accurate to call these people refugees. Language and words used to convey a message are important, especially if you are in the business of providing news and current events.
1
@toolboy1212p There are many people with a good understanding of the issues and can make good points about the strong economy, lower unemployment, and reasons for the wall that are factual based.
1
As soon as the city makes them renters they get increased rights. They are trying to avoid the situation so they can be removed when required
1
@nonyabizness.original You make good points and for the majority of offenders you are right. We have taken the ability to fend for themselves away and we need to cover the difference in a fair manner. As I said I think one of the first steps in not have these people go to prison in the first place. But... I'm ok with selling a child sex predator or someone who has committed an aggravated sexual assault to the lowest bidder 🤷
1
No leftist shade? Are you felling ok VICE?
1
Surprised his lungs aren't burnt out.
1
Wait... She is saying a store clerk would make more? Is that based on the fact she is working more than a standard work week for a set salary? Or does her hourly wage actually produce less? Does she factor in the time off per year, such as summer vacation? Hasnt had a raise in 10 years? Isnt there a union? Why doesnt she move if the community isn't treating her right? Lots of unanswered questions from this video.
1
There is so many factors in this. Not only access to weapons.
1
@wamingo yes that is why I said "not only". I believe mental health, societal pressures, and the way we treat each others play a much bigger role. Getting rid of the AK-47 would do very little. There are other guns that have a wood stock that use the same ammunition and operate the same way. But those aren't on the table when it comes to a ban... Why? Cause they aren't "military style"
1
@daddydollaz3947 So... They don't just randomly test parents on the street or show up their homes. Her baby was taken at 4 months, what prompted her to be looked at? Was there a bitter break up? Was there an arrest?
1
Protesting is one thing that should not be stopped but when it comes to damage to public/private property and looting I feel that the protest looses credibility.
1
@Yeah Right You seem to be inferring a lot here. In fact, I think the government is to blame because they started the welfare state. As I said in my comment, the community needs to solve their issues themselves. The government just makes it worse.
1
Hoghs 😆
1
Hoghs That is the way I feel about personal attacks rather than debate.
1
@vincentadultman6226 Not forcing a child on anyone. I am forcing responsibility on them. Don't have a child if you don't want. This includes birth control options or better yet abstinence. In the case of a sexual assault, Plan B. You hit the nail on the head. A child could jeopardize other plans, so again, don't have one until you are ready. I think the abortion procedure is terrible, I agree. I could see people suffering PTSD from it. So... again, best to not get pregnant in the first place. I don't buy the argument that it isn't possible to decide not to have a child and succeed 100% of the time. And before you start talking about privilege.. you don't know me. I've been poor, close to homeless, and I have been middle class wealthy. It's make things more challenging but poverty, in this case, does not make it impossible.
1
@andrewjones575 sorry I don’t see the thread. What have a said that would cost society “billions “?
1
The government and business will listen but average people need to change their habits and show they are serious. Only support companies that are making a change and make changes in your own life.
1
I have never heard of Bart Baker
1
They all want to pay less in tax.
1
This is the problem for any city/state/country that uses a single revenue stream for the majority of the economy. Loose that stream and everyone suffers.
1
This I can agree with. If there is further money to be made on something an individual created than they should possibly share in that wealth. I don't know much about it but it seems a lot like a hit song... at least in the world of tiktok
1
@braunarsch presumably. Would they? Probably not.
1
I agree with your point but it does say she makes $15.70/hr
1
She should change because that is what is in her control. She should have made a change 20 years ago. Doesn't seem the union can do anything. I would rally to find a different union. They are trying to get minimum wage increased to $15 initially. Diana still wouldn't get a raise. It said she took management courses 10 years ago... What happened with that?
1
He looks as the NBA is more important because they are still at home. I see it the opposite way. They are less important so they can stay closed. It is also way easier to keep a barber clean compared to a stadium with tons of people going in and out.
1
Ok there were 5 billion robo calls and the oversight was shut down. How many were there the previous month before the shut down? I am guessing they were the same. The FCC is shit at dealing with robo calls.
1
Seems weird you would title the video about the shooting but barely talk about it. Police say kid was part of a violent mob, is there video?
1
@Empyronaut Thanks. But VICE really needs to step it up.
