@alanking7331 sarcasm OFF! Perhaps someone isn't as informed as you. Possibly a new driver? 🤔 Thank you for your comment! Source considered. 😁

Had the concrete anchors fail on my two post. Hoist post hit the side of my vehicle, and broke the window. Honestly, don't remember how I got things back under control! Still using the lift.

Wisely covers the holes in the heads when blowing them out! Experience is the best teacher!

How lucky you are to live close to Ray's repair shop!!!!!! I have a Facebook friend that lives driving distance from Ivan AKA Pine Hollow Automotive Diagnostics. For the life of me can't get him to go to PHAD! What's the video of your repair? I've probably already watched it.

Couple of tricks to removing wood drift keys. Take advantage of the rounded bottom. Tap one side and it'll rock in place. A side cutter gets better grip than a needle nose pliers.

You know, there are very few battery manufacturers. Interesting find!
1
Do you have to supply your own towels and brake clean?
1
Great job recording, editing your videos! I have a wood splitter repower video in the works and understand the effort required! "RESPECT!

I use the like button as an indicator if I've watched the video. Always hit first thing.

You tested for voltage, but what about the circuits ability to carry amps? Or it's ability to carry oil?! LoL 🤣😆

Even in FL there's rust! MN perspective here! EDIT You said this is an up north car..

That vehicle should steer like it's on rails.

Should invite Eric O to your shop so he can work on rust free vehicles!
1
Did I miss it or did you explain the reason the return line gets replaced?
1
Yep!

Bummer dude! I've found that extractors have at least as much or less twisting strength as the bolt that broke. So without heating, they're going to twist off. In no way trying to beat you up! My channel name is to show that we're always learning. I believe it helps keep the keyboard worriers at bay.... At least that's my intention. I always say that hindsight is 20-15. Better than perfect vision. Enjoy your videos! Congratulations on the successful shop and channel growth! It's good you reached out to 'I do Cars' to get an engine. I know there are guys the specialize in removing broken bolts. Not sure about your area.

How many miles on old pump? Labor would be the same when that pump fails 3 months from now. Wouldn't look good for the shop to have it come back for a leak in the same area.

Did the same thing to the compressor off of my '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Clutch coil suddenly designed to demand too many amps. Looked into just replacing the clutch, but it either wasn't available or too much. Used compressor for the save. Mind you, this was after replacing the evaporator, an O-ring on the high side on the compressor, and, the high side hose off of the compressor. Now, I have a beater with a heater and AC! Took a perfectly good compressor apart just to see how it was made. No video. However, I do have a few interesting ones on my channel.

Wanted you to go on your own since I found your channel 6 months to a year ago! You're rocking it!

When the upper radiator hose connection is attached with bolts, you know things are tight!

How long of warranty did you give the customer? What was plan B if the bearing replacement didn't fix it? I imagine you were into it for around $300-$800.

1999 Camry 300,000 miles. Changed the front valve cover gasket. Went to change the rear a noticed the amount of vacuum hoses. Didn't want to tackle it.
1
Where are you getting the adapters?
1
What concerns me about oil flushes is the amount of liquid left in the engine during a normal oil change. Now we have diluted/thinned oil ready just sitting there ready to mix into the newly changed oil.
1
Forgot FLOOR SCRUBBER cam! LoL 😂😆

Goodness no, I really enjoy you pretending to be intelligent!

How much of a ring ridge was there? 🤔
1
Do you own the shop?
1
I would have parked that rig outside, and told the customer to come back with a check engine light lit up! Erased codes just before coming! Apparently, the customer doesn't know what a tech uses!
1
"They know someone who can do it cheeper!!" 😜
1
When customers supply parts and other materials that you would markup, how, do you charge them?
