@Dratchev241 found and watched! Thank you!

How is dropping valves related to not changing the oil? 🤔
2
My '99 Toyota Camry 3.0. I changed the timing belt at around 360,000. I believe this was the second belt. I'm guessing it had a change at 100,000. I bought it at 309,000. You should have seen the cracks in that belt! No , it didn't fail! Yes, this engine in a non-interference engine. With the new belt, the engine started a lot faster.

Uncle Rodney is on a bender!! 😂
2
Yes! The most amount of bent push rods! That had to of been noisy until it wasn't! LoL 🤣
2
I wonder how the cams compare with the two engines?
2
Hey, like #300! How cool is that?!!
2
1999 Toyota Camry with a 3.0. 425,000+ miles on it. All original engine and tranny. Still running well!
2
"There's the effects of direct injection!" With EGR being forced feed!

Excellent video!! FYI That is a pump. Well, it WAS a pump! A compressor is the pump, tank, and other parts. This information came from my brother-in-law who works on these. I was wanting to upgrade the pump on my single stage compressor to a two stage. I started sending him links to cheap two stage pumps. This got his thought process flowing. He started building me a Quincy 5 HP pump. He asked if I had a tank. Well, he scrounged up a dented tank for me. Long story shorter, he gave me a complete 5 HP Quincy two stage compressor! Remember, this all started by me sending links to compressors, er I mean pumps.

Today's trivia. RTV= Room Temperature Vulcanizion

Noticed that also!! Don't know why they do that!! 🤔
2
I'm sure that engine failed at an high RPM! That crank hit something a few revolutions!
2
Did you check the oil ring tension in the cylinders? "You said they came out easy, maybe too easy." I'm thinking the oil rings lost their tension and were no longer just lubricating the pistons/cylinders but allowing oil in the combustion chambers.
2
They make them. Search "engine stand drip tray".
2
Haven't had a Felpro fail. 🤔
2
Dude! Sarcasm!
2
Ray is replacing it.

@jordantomblin2302 well! Welcome aboard! Remember to ring that pesky bell to turn on notifications!

Since this is about a Honda engine, maybe I can get an answer about this Honda Civic that I replaced the head gasket on. Got it running an then it stalled. https://youtube.com/shorts/wY3SCWqVw7E?feature=share

"Catch can would have done this engine wonders!" Do you run catch cans on your vehicles?
1
If it wasn't for EGR, would direct injection intake valves be clean?
1
@malcolmjohnson5941 so a catch can would solve a lot of issues?
1
@TestECull right.

How about considering following along as I get my late father's 1958 Plymouth Suburban (wagon) back to daily driver condition. https://youtu.be/9jJxV_qSNmg

I wonder at what RPM that rod let go?!
1
Oil changes included in the price of the vehicle.

'00 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 250,000+ miles. No real issues except for the rockers being non-existent!

It was nice meeting your wife, son and congratulations on baby #2! Thank you for explaining your business! I've only been a subscriber for just a few months. Your humble attitude when saying thank you says a lot about you! I enjoy learning what killed an engine! You take us on that journey! Many of these engines I wouldn't get a chance to see the insides! U started at an early age playing in the garage. Learned a lot. Destroyed things. Fixed things. Stay humble! Keep making that $5 for gas money! Hopefully, 100,000 subscribers pays a bit more. I don't have any fancy videos. Just short one takes. I might have something you'd be interested in.
1
Hey, when can I get you to work on my car? My engine blew up! You're the guy to fix it! LoL 😂😆
1
@SNELLERIZED hey Brad! Saw the channel name and had to make sure it was you! Who else would have that name?!

@robertslegers257 that was my thoughts! Never really warmed up. Never reved above 2500 RPM! GOTTA TAKE CARE OF THE VEHICLE!

At the time of this writing you have 410,000+ subscribers! Congratulations!!
1
Just think how gunked up the fuel injectors are?!
1
Merry Christmas! I wonder if we're looking at factory oil?!
1
You definitely kept me laughing during this video! 😂
1
Looking at that bolt, it looks like it broke last in the center. Stretched by over torquing?
1
The way each cylinder popped over when you first turned it over gave me confidence of it being a good engine.
1
Technically, this engine would run with some connecting rods if water hadn't been allowed to stay in it.
