  10.  @Asin24  stop bringing logic into this fight for sentiment. they just want to blame filthy casuals for ruining the game, not look at the cause and effect of having four raid tiers within a single expansion ballooning item levels and gear scaling through the wazoo trivializing all content in the process creating the go go go mentality which snapped back like an over extended rubberband come cataclysm because all the baffoons who think WoW was hardcore complained and Blizzard cranked the difficulty up to a 11 causing a backlash which resulted in a kneejerk reaction to nerf everything into the ground which wouldnt have happened if they simply increased the difficulty incrementally over time until it reach a point the majority of the playerbase was comfortable with.

  15.  @MarkoArillius  kind of funny, Ive been playing this game for years, on several different servers across multiple data centers and have never seen that sort of behaviour. Ive even instructed people how to use the blacklist on multiple occasions. Ive booted people from Novice Network, the sprout channel, for harassing new players. Sounds like a made up scenario so you could insult people yourself. Ive seen this quite frequently on WoW though over the 16 years I played since vanilla, the scenario someone makes up in their head to play the victim so they feel like they have precedent to be vitriolic towards other players.

  17. I dont call that finished, they did the basic outline and texture mapping, maybe tossed in a few bushes or cacti but its not a finished state. it looks empty and devoid of life. And before some nub comes at me with "thats what deserts are", you've clearly never seen an actual desert, there is life there even in the harshest. there is no life, no wind, no ambiance, its not done. Its like calling a house with only walls and a roof complete.

  32. its an MMO, the reason why WoW stayed on top for so long is simply because it was more accessible. You could run it on a toaster. It doesnt matter how nice a game looks, if it runs like ass, it will fail. They wanted to have XIV on the PS3, those zones would never have run on a PS3. Also 1.0 looked huge but really it was a mass of copy pasta landscapes devoid of life most of the time. If I wanted a walking simulator, 1.0 would be it. if they could have gotten away with having Thanalan be Thanalan instead of half dozen zones, Im sure they would have. Which is why when HW came out, the new zones ballooned in size.

  36. 1) Ive had far more choppy slideshowing in WoW than I ever have in XIV. 2) It gets better once you get to level 5. maybe you should spend more than the average episode of south park, playing a game before critiquing it. 3) its not different than any other game really. 4) yeah and the body paint WoW calls armor is so much more interesting. before and after they nixed the class sets. 99% of all WoW armor does the exact same thing, with maybe an interesting trinket proc, XIV doesnt have trinkets, if they had, maybe. 5) "Man, this is so cutesy and cartoony man, I need my edgy wow" *goes back to playing World of Disney/Pixar starring Po the Kung Fu Panda* 6) You mean, people like you? 7) what hair?

  42. the power of friendship storyline isnt a bad one, if properly executed, but its easiest to see through when its done badly. You cant have a power of friendship with a group of people where you question if they are actually friends to begin with. Like they need to have spent more than 5 mins in the same room in the last 10 years. First you need to convince the viewer/player these people are really friends because you can pull the power of friendship card. Sadly Blizzard will never spend the time required to establish this.

  44. I have all female characters with female names on XIV, I dont get harassed, violated or attacked or have every move I make every step I take having someone watching me. I actively help people, do dungeons/trials with random sprouts and answer any question I know the answer to. makes me wonder what you are actually doing since I do the exact same things other people purport to do and get none of the treatment they claim to get. I got that shit in WoW though, I had people give me presents all the time and flirt with me. Even had two low level tauren follow me all over the tauren starter zone while I was helping my uncle level his new druid on my server. had them whispering me and asking me to be their girlfriend. really weird but then again WoW has the Cosby Suite, so thats par for the course.
