  26. I am opposed to the death penalty mainly due to the number of people wrongly convicted of capitol crimes. I don’t know how many have been executed for crimes they did not commit, but in my opinion one wrongful execution is too many.

  27. Mathew Fullerton - The Wikipedia article on Yucatán briefly showed the pronunciation with no comment about syllable stress. The sound clip showed what seem to be a slight stress on the last syllable. I have tended to stress the first syllable, although I guess it could be pronounced without stresses as \you-kuh-tan\. I think we can agree that it’s not pronounced \YUCK-a-tan\.

  28. A good video, once I got to actually see it! 👍 Of the countries featured, I would like to visit Liechtenstein, Bhutan, or Monaco; I would not visit Brunei or North Korea. I would also pass on Moldova until the war in neighboring Ukraine is over.

  29. I liked Denver when I visited. I could totally live there, but I didn’t think the city had much personality; maybe that’s just me. To me it was a stepping stone to the Rockies.

  35. At about 7:00 you said Tallahassee is the only state capital the borders another state. No, Trenton, NJ borders PA and I just read where Carson City, NV borders CA. Tallahassee is close to the GA line but does not touch that line.

  37. In these “Democratic” states you make more money too. I’m pretty sure these states are also near the top in terms of health care and life expectancy. Last I checked, HI had the longest life expectancy, CA was 2nd and CT was 5th. OH, inexpensive and Republican, was 43rd, and I’ll give you one guess where MS finished.

  49. I am surprised that New York was not on this list. It has always been really expensive and you needed a top salary to get by there. Also, given that the two most expensive states seem to be Hawaii and California, they really should have had the #1 and #2 incomes to match. Good stuff.
