@MrAsianPie - I’d rather vote for Bosco!
3
4:33 - No, Connecticut’s largest city is Bridgeport, which is not much larger than Hartford or New Haven.
3
Really? I live in the Northeast, and have no opinion of Californians either way.
3
And when Miami and New Orleans are both 50 feet (16 meters) beneath the ocean, we can blame you.
3
Monrovia is not a country; it is the capital of Liberia. Perhaps you meant Moldova.
3
It is the correct pronunciation.
3
Looking forward to 10 Most Liberal States. My guess is MA, NY, HI, CA, NJ, MN, VT, WA, NH, and MD. My home state of CT should be very close. I completely agree with the first 90 seconds of this video.
3
@victorlorenzoalvescunhalor8997 - I hope not.
3
@humboldthammer - I don’t know how that eclipse is particularly epochal, but I definitely plan on viewing it. I hope to view it in Ohio, as the place where I lived for 11 years will be in the path of totality. But I’ll view the eclipse elsewhere if the forecast for the Dayton area calls for overcast or rain. The epochal solar eclipse will be July 16, 2186. I don’t think anyone alive today will need to make plans on that one, but it will be the longest solar eclipse in about 8000 years.
3
NJ is nearby and familiar. CA has nice weather, and if they can afford NY, they certainly can afford CA.
3
@adamfranco1987 - Of the cities in Briggs’ video, El Paso had the highest percentage of its population being of Mexican origin.
3
I would include Caribou, ME.
3
Rochester is east of Buffalo, not north.
3
A New Jersey.
3
His list was top 10 places in the West. Not West Coast. Wyoming qualifies.
3
I think “Almost Heaven” would be #1, with the South being heavily on that list.
3
I figured NYC would be the runaway leader, with twice the votes of the runner up. Instead they barely made this list and “lost” out to Trenton. Considering the comments, I also would have thought San Francisco would have been on this list.
3
I had no problem hearing you through the rain. And the sound of rain is very relaxing to me, as long as there’s no thunder.
3
The capital of Ecuador is Quito and it is not a coastal city. It’s about 2800 meters (9000 feet) above sea level.
3
I would guess Vermont, followed by New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island, as those states have small populations and are the farthest away.
3
@evermore9291 - No, they are not. The Keys are north of the Tropic of Cancer and most of Hawaii is south.
3
You meant the “religion” of tolerance and minding one’s business regarding others? 🏳️🌈
3
@jamesbraun9842 I’m pretty sure Utah would make that list. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ohio, Indiana, or Missouri make the list as well.
3
West Virginia is a relatively unpopulated state. Even if literally everyone there were on food stamps, I doubt they’d make this list.
3
The part of Virginia near DC is very expensive.
3
One detail Briggs did not get right was about Chicago’s population trends over the decades. Chicago had more residents in 1950 than they do today. In 1950, the population was over 3.6M and in 2010 it was closer to 2.7M. So, while Illinois (demonym of Illinoisans) may have gained population every census up to 2010, Chicago has not.
3
The drop in faith is also a major sign that religion is a lie and more people are realizing it as such.
3
People who have family there.
3
Only thing is, we’d still have to have freedom of religion, but a predominantly atheistic country would be a great future. I don’t think it will ever happen, though.
3
“New York Wannabes?” I think that could be a great new name for the Mets! 😄
3
High taxes and high cost of living are a given in NYC, but it actually has one of the lowest crime rates of any major US city.
3
In Boston, Yankees is a cuss word. 😏
3
Rain Bow - So did Connecticut, But if you want less expensive real estate in CT, don’t look in Fairfield County. (That the the southwestern part of the state nearest NYC.) You should be able to find decent houses for around $300K or so in the other seven counties.
3
Briggs, just out of curiosity, why would you not care for Ensenada? You mentioned that without saying why. Great video; there are several places that I would like to visit. 👍
3
Minneapolis has about 6% of Minnesota’s population.
3
“Scranton. Even better with 30,000 pounds of bananas!”
3
I agree as well.
3
Right here: 🌏
3
Except for that one day last week that hit 110°. 🥵
3
The worst story of 2022 is the Ukraine invasion, and I see absolutely no point in it. Russia and their people will be paying for this for decades to come, as will Ukraine, Belarus, and frankly neighboring countries such as Moldova and Poland. At least I haven’t heard as much about the Middle East this year and no Middle Eastern countries were listed on this dubious list.
3
I think most of Briggs’ videos get them. 😠
3
Why don’t you ask them?
2
@michaelcristiano7501 - The new National Motto of the USA should be “One nation, many armpits.” Not exactly a source of national pride if you ask me. Been to Michigan many times, as I have relatives there. There are worse places. My biggest concern would be their winters, but they are only a little colder than what I’m used to.
2
@itsnathanhere2578 - I don’t live in New York.
2
@Objective-Observer - I am not currently relocating. If and when I do relocate, probably in a few years, I am not looking so much at a place’s political outlook as much as their cost of living, crime levels, and their climate. But when I do move, I’m not taking anyone’s crap about “moving back where I came from!”
2
@Objective-Observer - Your comment is proof that you can’t have an intelligent conversation with a conservative. I gave some reasons why I wouldn’t want to live in a red state (and therefore risk turning it a little bluer) and you still get triggered. I’m done with this nonsense, good day!
2
- There is no evidence to support your claim. Without evidence, the polling numbers speak for themselves.
2
@Objective-Observer - If there is such evidence of voter fraud, then show it, and show your sources. Otherwise your assertions are a pile of bullshit and nothing more.
2
@Fitz the dragon - If conservatives moved to California, then it would not be that different from when Reagan was the governor of that state. Would I be happy? Not really, but as long as the politics were from democratic processes, and not through foul play (such as gerrymandering) then I am not going to complain. I am done with this discussion.
2
@NYCHFAN - Midwest.
