In summary, having a backbone and defending your ideas with conviction and reason is what is badly needed.
8
Yeah, keep living in that fairy tale of yours.
8
Britain has never understood the EU and never will. It became the focal point of a domestic battle between left-wing progressives and right-wing patriots... whereas in many other European countries the EU is a non-issue or not necessarily in conflict with patriotism and cultural preservation. All that Brexit has done is to put Swedish immigrants on a level playing field with Afghani immigrants to the UK. Brexit is not contributing to a reduction in immigration.
8
This is all a sideshow, come on now.
8
It's been like this since the 1960s. You didn't know?
8
Changing citizenship laws would be a good start.
7
Being led by traitors makes a fool of you. It's a bit like being scammed.
7
Being too polite is a quality as much as it is a flaw.
7
He might in public, but in private who knows...
7
And yet we had brexit... for nothing...
7
@ajs41 and his noncing.
7
@elizabethanthony3916 being English and being born in England are not the same thing, for starters.
7
Down wirh the ummah. Down with the double standards in the police and justice systems.
7
@sye601 affinity is important in my opinion. It happens that people with no British lineage/heritage still feel very British because British behavioural traits suit their personality better than the expected behavioural traits of their culture of origin, there are some like that, but very few, and these few are often very patriotic and understand the culture of the country. I believe that Calvin, while of mixed heritage, feels that way. He feels his British side is more him than his Afro-caribbean side.
7
@billw7000 this has nothing to do with it. Brexit has shown that it's our domestic policies and our imperial legacy that attract immigrants from the third world, not our former EU membership. ONS statistics will clearly show you that. Now, what if Brits want to move to Hungary?
7
Yt censoring my comments. This really stinks.
7
What 'truth' exactly?
6
@philyewin4880 I agree with the first half of your comment, but not the second. Who is 'we'? Do you think that those places were all about peace, love and harmony before the British Empire?
6
This country is hurting. Time for good people who care about this country to start a protest movement.
6
Happy new year, NCF. Let's hope for the best!
6
Reform is controlled opposition.
6
Totally agree, conservatism needs to move away from economic management to tackle issues around culture and identity. The troubls is that the Reform party in the UK is still all about economic management.
6
It's as if you're trying to make Labour the least worse of the three when they are actually the worst party.
6
Don't let it happen. Vote.
6
@PinkPoo at evil.
6
Labour is very patriotic...for Palestine
6
@midnightcowboy3611 oh dear, leftist arguments detected. 1. Being born in a country doesn't make you automatically a citizen of said country - which is still the rule that applies in most countries around the world except in the West. 2. Her British citizenship was officially revoked by the government - so, legally she is not British. 3. Do you ever sincerely think she feels British, cares about or British history, culture and people of British descent and cultural heritage? Not a chance! Try and understand these very basic points first before we can continue the discussion.
6
I agreed with what was being said up to minute 40. Thinking for yourself requires education and empathy, it's the only duty of people who enjoy individual liberties. When education and empathy both go, then it's all over, society goes back to a state of savagery. You have every right to reject inherited moral obligations if they fail on the counts of education and empathy.
6
Brexit was a con and is irrelevant to the problems this country is facing. Flawed by design and fanciful from the start. Best to draw a line under this and move on to the real issues.
6
It seems so many people are just discovering this....
6
The fptp system needs scrapping. Otherwise, the smaller parties on the right could form a coalition without the need to merge into one party.
6
@stuartsteel1 Labour, by proxy.
6
It's been like this since the 1960s, as these Commonwealth citizens were previously British subjects...
6
@polybian_bicycle what's wrong with honouring Churchill?
5
Farage also threw Anne Marie Waters under the bus.
5
@Pouncealot2023 criminality leads to poverty
5
@Pouncealot2023 ok so all millionaires are criminals to you?
5
@Pouncealot2023 lack of ability to defer satisfaction leads to poverty, and that's psychologically proven. You are mixing up millionaires who made their wealth precisely by deferring satisfaction with millionaires who made their wealth through crime.
5
The USA is breaking away from European civilisation, so are Canada, Australia and NZ. It's therefore becoming increasingly difficult to consider the West as a civilisational entity.
5
There's no sovereignty within the UK's borders, so brexit is in effect pointless.
5
@craighart9278 he's not serious about the issue. If he proposed a full reform of UK DOMESTIC policies tackling access to benefits, the underground economy, money laundering... then he would mean business. No one is doing that.
5
I think it's worse in Britain than in most other Western counties. It's worse in the anglosphere in general.
5
@salfordguy399 more than you'd ever think: people who loudly show themselves as altruistic are often the most selfish and egotistical
5
I don't know how anyone can accept losing their job for challenging the woke cult. Take these people to court!
5
At the expense of the British taxpayer...
5
@midnightcowboy3611 she's not a British citizen. Her British citizenship was revoked.
5
To entertain the great Brexit con...
5
Some BBC studios give onto the streets of London (the One Show, I think). Would be very easy for a few people to gather behind the studio windows and display banners denouncing their woke bias. I'm up for it, any takers??
5
There's only one way: people like Peter Whittle, Douglas Murray, Laurence Fox and Co coming together under the Reclaim banner, and issue a challenge to con lab.
5
@winstonsmith8240 not sure, mass migration into the UK has been relentless for the last 60 years. And English identity has long been designated as horrid.
