  4. Rather disingenuous to talk about the working class as discriminated against as it makes one sound like a complete commie. Working class is not a state anyone wants to be in, and people move up the social ladder thanks to MERITOCRACY. The reality is that most people are in the middle class, working to earn a living, paying their taxes and not committing crime. There is no working class today as most industries have left this country. Perhaps by working class you mean a class of 'pig ignorant and proud' people on benefits? We seem to have forgotten meritocracy in this country. Every single one prefers to identify as being a member of a disadvantaged group to then be able moan and blame others for their misery.

  34. Not entirely convinced by the whole theory. Too much of a focus on the upper middle classes and polite society. It's worth noting there is considerable apathy among the so-called working classes, and the welfare system is favouring a culture of self-entitlement, the 'nanny state' is giving rise to an idiocracy. Wokeism is just the culmination of 50 years of postmodernism and exarcebated individualism. Wokeism / social justice will be easily overcome by the more brutal ideologies of some of the groups it wishes to defend, once the demographic balance sufficiently tips in their favour.

  43. I don't quite agree that British society is so balkanised that we can't have a national broadcaster. We have loud minority activists and far-leftists with fringe views who dominate the media. The national broadcaster should give a voice to the "silent majority."
