@markconway3481 what's your source?
2
End ius soli now.
2
Time to do something about the 'gibs' mentality.
2
It's up to the UK to change its domestic policies to stop acting as a magnet for illegals... No party is ready to do this.
2
Michel Houellebecq wrote about all that some 30 years ago.
2
Indeed. Anyone who couldn't see that coming is frankly a bit of a fool.
2
Cowards and far left ideologues in power. It has to change. How can anyone assert that multiculturalism has led to a harmonious society when the Pakistani Muslim rape gangs have been around for decades?
2
Economic management is all the Conservatives think and talk about. Bunch of shopkeepers.
2
They're just all as bad as one another.
2
BS
2
So what's happening with the Reclaim party, Calvin?
2
Some confusing optics here from people who often point out Britain is culturally under threat. Farage arguing only leftists are republicans; that's a bad and simplistic take. A reduced monarchy would be a good thing as it would be an opportunity to change the system of political representation. Let's face it, the electoral system is antiquated, fptp means it's always a contest between lab and con, and it is now emerging that monarchs can drop their neutrality at the Privy Council. The British people deserve better than this. The way forward is: keep the monarchy but review its role in politics and make the political system more representative, and therefore more democratic. In summary: evolution not revolution.
2
Just vote Reform or Britain First. Better than spoiling your vote because spoilt votes count for nothing except a tacit vote for Lab.
2
@burtingtune my point is that I'd like this influence to dwindle and disappear. Perhaps it would be possible if more people didn't care, like me.
2
@paul756uk2 and feudalism implies no more democracy
2
Answer: UN human rights conventions.
2
They disgraced themselves by taking the knee for BLM, they've been turning a blind eye to grooming gangs for decades. And then they expect to be respected by the British public?
2
Well, not much to hope for after listening to this discussion. Solid defeatism throughout the 44 minutes. Yet, these conversationalists have now garnered enough notoriety to drive the change they would like to see. Commenting on the sidelines will get you nowhere.
2
The nartzi far-right is still a fringe element in the UK, but seems a much bigger thing in the US. And we all know how the US influences the UK in a bad way...
2
You know that Black Nationalists seriously believe that electricity and nuclear physics were first developed in Africa and that the evil white demons stole the technology from the Blacks.
2
@davidpaterson2309 you are spot on. Thank you for expressing these points so clearly. Brexiters are really slow on the uptake.
2
@stellarjayatkins4749 you and other brexiters got done over, admit it. I know it's hard to admit.
2
I don't understand why the PM and the whole con party can't make a stand against woke ideology and the erasure of British culture it openly advocates. People look up to political leaders to legitimise and defend their views. I'm afraid that a handful of people refusing to accept anything pertaining to wokeness in their daily lives won't cut it.
2
@evolassunglasses4673 you keep repeating that, and I disagree. Where we went wrong, and I mean the UK and other western European countries, is that we wanted to build an Empire 'where the sun never sets' based on the universality of our values and culture. We have only noticed in the last couple of decades that this has failed miserably and we're now facing the backlash.
2
That's what crimimals usually do, particularly those of the Muhammadan type.
2
@flemwad at least it's good to know there are still people who never question authority.
2
Yep, it's called taqqiya
2
@fredbloggs5902 do you think an anonymous individual can change anything, especially in this climate of apathy? It's got to come from someone notorious, well spoken, fair minded and with access to the media.
2
Great to see these articulate young people opposing the woke madness. Leftists are still doubling down, judging from what goes on in universities...
2
@salfordguy399 I will define it for you: believing there is systemic racism when there are no laws or conventions sanctioning it, making generalisations about rampant discrimination in British society based on anecdotal evidence derived from personal perceptions, all of which to impose a political agenda leading towards equality of outcome as a first step with the undelying aim of upsetting and eventually destroying British culture and identity in the long run.
2
@salfordguy399 correction, woke is an open display of empathy and understanding for political ends, or for narcissistic aims, or even for both.
2
Stop using words you don't understand the meaning of.
2
@zerodivisionerror I can think of too many counter examples for your hypothesis to work. I'd argue that It's rather a combination of personality traits and life experiences that shape people's political views.
2
@Libertariun You have the "bohemian"/hippy familles with lots of children and of course single parent households - generally these people are on the left side of the political spectrum. Conversely, a sizeable share of incel men in their 20-40s are rather conservative. Finally, although this is in France, it turns out Eric Zemmour has an important following among young people.
2
Because you think Nigel isn't an artist in manipulation and fabrication?
2
@VallornDeathblade even if I disagreed with Peter Hitchens when he first said that, seeing what's been going on in London the last few weeks, I now think he has a point.
2
Thanks to Brexit, net immigration into the UK has reached record levels. Just fixed it for you.
2
Virtue signalling is the easier path for cowards and the natural path for narcissists.
2
These developments are no surprise given that the authorities of this country have been kowtowing to BLM and other such activist organisations for the last few years.
2
@melb6528 keep to the singing Mel B
2
So, the majority of Mus lims are not well-integrated in the UK and are extremely bigoted. What do we do?
2
Farage is a fraud. Only gullible people believe him.
2
Because "political correctness" has gone absurdly mad and too much attention is being given to fringe lefty loons.
2
I won't believe Fartage until he shows documentary evidence.
2
@NC-dw3tk Triggernometry displayed the letter from the bank on social media the day they received it. Fartage did not display any evidence in his 5-minute video and only surmised why they might have closed his account, I find that a bit fishy. And what I find even more amazing is that so many people can still take that scammer Fartage seriously. But hey ho...
2
@NC-dw3tk let's wait and see. He claims the bank closed his account 'without any explanations', which is rather unprofessional and outlandish on the behalf of a bank if you ask me. Usually, even if this sort of thing can happen to anyone, the bank or any other organisation would provide a justification... And given NF's past and current form, I tend not to believe what comes out of his mouth. Still, let's give him the benefit of the doubt.
2
How can you still trust Farage? Please wake up.
2
Turns up in African garb, runs a charity for Afro-Caribbean women exclusively, and gets offended when asked when she's actually from... yet another opportunity for the rotten MSM and wokies to fabricate a story to prove the deep 'waycist' nature of Britain. This country is lost...
2
Agreed, the whole working class sentiment is just as silly as the woke ideology. It does nothing to elevate the mind.
2
In absolute terms, it's best not to leave important decisions to the uneducated.
