  4. A person's beliefs do not begin and end with religion. Many people who are not religious do not believe in abortion. Murder/manslaughter does not end with a belief. It also does not begin with a birth.

  12. I thought everyone had some kind of marker on their grave. At the very least (even prison graveyards) have something, if only a number. Did he ask the parents of the deceased child if Michael had a marker? The info of the location could be wrong or the stone taken, and a parent would want to know that and probably replace it.

We should also change the law of "innocent by reason of of insanity" to "guilty but insane" to allow them to be put in prison after being found sane to finish their sentence and also the crime goes on their record when cops check their record.

I'm guessing you mean the neglected dog. Yes. Poor thing couldn't hardly move. He just didn't wake up one morning. He was pretty old too. How can someone neglect and then abandon their old dog?! He was a nice old gentleman.

  23.  @christinawilson2667  Being high was his own doing, if that was the case. You're responsible for doing drugs, and also responsible for what you do under the influence. I don't see why that even makes a difference except it's just one more crime if it's illegal.

  24.  @christinawilson2667  I agree. I think most people can be impaired without doing any harm. I just think too frequently they make it sound like you aren't responsible. If you are someone who is affected that way, it's your own responsibility to protect yourself and others from yourself. (Best of all to stay away from anything you can't handle).

  27.  Tahmid Alpha12  This is all very interesting. I am sure the Shias get more time on television and videos because what they are doing is going against what the majority of Muslims do. Here in the West, the same thing happens. The tiny minority of homosexuals and rioters and complainers, etc. get all the news coverage while most Americans are peaceful and generous and leave others alone unless attacked either verbally or physically. Most of my region of America have conservative values, but the coasts (cities like New York and Los Angeles and Hollywood) get most of the media coverage. It gives America a bad name. Best wishes to you and your family. Most of America (80%) believe in God, but watching the news, you would never know. Here, there are many black, white and a few Arab Muslims. Good health to you.

  30.  @JojoplusBo  We have a constitution. We get to defend ourselves from the crazies who don't give a care about the law and carry guns anyway. We let women protect themselves from abuse. People who live in the country and can't wait 15 minutes or longer for the cops to get there. What do people protect their livestock with over there, a stick?

  31.  @fluffy-fluffy5996  It is a gun owner's responsibility to know the law and the proper use of any weapon (as is it is anyone's). Am I to trust that the man kidnapping my teen daughter will not rape or kill her? Does it make it better to use a baseball bat or a knife to kill an intruder any better? A gun at least equalizes the power of a woman to protect her family against a criminal invader (who obviously has no respect for the law or anyone's rights) and is often carrying a gun himself. Guns are frequently used to warn off an attacker or inflict just enough harm to stop them. I certainly have never advocated lethal force against a petty thief. How do you know he is a petty thief, however? Because he said so? Apparently you live where there are no violent crimes and only Nintendo thieves. Lucky you.

  34.  @mochitaro5020  Trust those who have earned your trust, but most of all trust yourself. If you feel something is "off" trust your feeling even if you can't put your finger on the exact problem. Your subconscious probably picked up on something. That's instinct, and it's there for a reason.

  50. Maybe you should cauterize your mouth. I worked in a place where a 5'4" guy got a promotion over a 6' woman in a warehouse. She could lift the 80# boxes and he couldn't. They were hired at the same time. Got paid the same. They promoted him because "didn't think the guys would take orders from a woman." Split the maternity leave for men and women. Let the dad stay home with the baby, at least part of the time. Make the dad stay home for sickness, school problems, etc. I have no problem with it. You know who has a problem with it? Men. Have the men get vasectomies. Then there won't be any kid. Force fathers to pay their child support so there's money enough to pay others for child care. Since when is having babies a woman's problem alone? Why do men complain that women usually get custody? Because women are the ones who will take the time to care for the kids (usually). It's not the 50's amymore when the thinking was, she should get less because she has/should have a man for a breadwinner.
