I'm sure that the lack of personal responsibility and accountability that has grown in recent generations has noting to do with it. As we have learned, when people don't get what they want, or don't have their every whim catered to, it's someone else's fault and, therefore, retribution is just and unpunishable. If society plants onions, they shouldn't be surprised that roses don't spring up.

It is the availability of drugs that needs to be stopped, then addiction can be treated. It's like this, you can't put out a fire by throwing gasoline on it; neither can you put it out by dumping more flammable material on it. The increased availability of drugs, by making them legal, will mean only one thing, an explosion of new addicts.

  33. We should stop qualifying words. There is NO "hate speech" as opposed to just "speech". There is speech that, as individuals, we may hate, but "hate" doesn't adhere to the words or statements themselves. To make it clear, if someone makes a derogatory statement about a race, sex, sexual preference, etc., and you substitute the words "white" for "brown", or "straight" for "gay", etc., why in ONE case is it "hate speech" and NOT the other? Why is ONE statement prohibited and NOT the other.? Why does ONE denote a person with evil intent and NOT the other? Democrats can never intelligently answer those questions.

You get involved in campaigns to get these people out of office and elect people who will vow to do something about it. You run for office yourself... not necessarily President or Congress, but your school board, county supervisors, city council, party official, etc., you go to meetings and "town-halls" and hold their feet to the fire. They only way the leftists got power was through activism, but too few on the right want to get active. It seems that they think donating to their party should take care of the situation, it won't.

They invariably say that they are coming to the US for jobs, free stuff, and a better life. At least that's what they say before they are coached to claim that they are fleeing danger and gang violence. They know what will get them in..... just like they know that bringing a child, any child, will help get them in, making children their pawns in breaching our border. There are LEGAL ways to come to the US. No one I know is opposed to LEGAL immigrants who follow our laws. It's strange that you blame the US for the political problems in Central and South America while ignoring the role of global communist and socialist regimes as well as excluding democrat administrations like Wilson's, FDR's, Truman's, Kennedy's, and Johnson's. It seems you have some more research to do.
