I can tell you're coming from an American point of view, you don't even know that liberals are not the same thing as leftists, liberals are centrists. Neoliberalism is the dominant ideology and it's a centrist ideology at best, a conservative one at worst. The Overton window is so far to the right in America that most of you think you're centrists but you're actually just conservatives with commitment issues or a lack of political educated. You didn't give examples of someone choosing from both sides, you don't even seem to know what the left is or what we want.

But trans people ARE being oppressed, and she isn't marching, she's promoting and associating with far right activists that are explicitly transphobic and have connections to white nationalist movements. There are dozens of other tweets if hers that are more nuanced in their transphobia, Jessie genders video had the receipts. No propaganda, just facts. I never said I was debating you, I'm just telling you the information I know and recommending the way I learned about it. I get what you are saying, it is an interesting question, but she doesn't grapple with that question or give any interesting answers to it. I think YOU are far more clever and could write a better storyline about this moral quandary, because you actually see the value in it and his it is interesting. But I think you are giving her credit for improving the idea in your head. You find the idea intriguing, and it is, I wish you had been around to help her explore it. Trans people care about women's rights because trans women are women, and they are not a danger to other women, trans people are in more danger and are more marginalized than cis women are.
