  1. (Revelation 12:12) "Woe for the earth and the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short time." What is the sea ? (Isaiah 57:20 ) "But the wicked are like the restless sea that cannot calm down, And its waters keep tossing up seaweed and mire." How is this behavior possible? (1 John 5:19) "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." Would you like to know how bad it is? (2 Timothy 3:1-5) "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. People will be selfish, greedy, egotistical, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without the love of goodness, betrayers, obstinate, conceited, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power;" And it's going to get worse. (2 Timothy 3:13) "wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading, and being misled." Your system of things is ending very soon. "Get ready to meet your God." (Amos 4:12). That's not a good thing. (Zephaniah 2:2,3) "Before the decree takes effect, before the day passes by like chaff, before the burning anger of Jehovah comes upon you, before the day of Jehovah's anger comes upon you, seek Jehovah, all you meek ones of the earth, who observe his righteous decrees. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably you will be concealed on the day of Jehovah's anger."

  22.  @tonybarden9187 That is because Jehovah God authored the Bible. He used his Holy Spirit to inspire humans to recall and write down his thoughts but with a human touch. If he used angels, they would not be able to convey human emotions or have human experiences. How God had the Bible written is a gift itself. However, I suspect that doesn't explain why the Bible comes from a divine origin, at least not to you. I could quote 2 Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is inspired by God," but that wouldn't convince you. The only thing that could prove the Bible is of a divine origin would be to show something it contains that is superhuman or something no human can do. No human has a proven track record of foretelling the future, and anything they say comes from conjecture and educated guesses. Even a man like Nostradamus, who some believe to be a great foreteller, wasn't one-hundred accurate. The future cannot be told with absolute certainty by humans. However, Jehovah can. He proudly says so. (Isaiah 46:10) "From the beginning, I foretell the outcome, and from long ago, the things that have not yet been done." I'm sure you see those as mere words. You likely want proof. There are many examples in God's Word, but for the sake of brevity, let's consider one. You can find this prophecy at Isaiah 44:24, 27, 28, and 45:1-4. I'll quote the biblical verses for context. (Isaiah 44:24) "This is what Jehovah says, your Repurchaser, Who formed you since you were in the womb: 'I am Jehovah, who made everything. I stretched out the heavens by myself, and I spread out the earth. Who was with me?'" (Isaiah 44:27, 28) "The One saying to the deep waters, 'Be evaporated, And I will dry up all your rivers'; The One saying of Cyrus, 'He is my shepherd, and he will completely carry out all my will'; The One saying of Jerusalem, 'She will be rebuilt,' And of the temple, 'Your foundation will be laid.'" and (Isaiah 45:1-4) "This is what Jehovah says to his anointed one, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have taken hold of To subdue nations before him, To disarm kings, To open before him the double door so that the gates will not be shut: "Before you, I will go, and the hills I will level. The copper doors I will break in pieces. The iron bars I will cut down. I will give you the treasures in the darkness and the hidden treasures in the concealed places, so that you may know that I am Jehovah, the God of Israel, who is calling you by your name. For my servant Jacob and Israel, my chosen one, I am calling you by your name. I am giving you a name of honor, although you did not know me." So, in summary, this prophecy states: 1. A watery deep will become evaporated, and rivers will dry up 2. The passage mentions a person named Cyrus by name 3. Jerusalem rebuilt 4. Doors would open for Cyrus Isaiah wrote down this inspired prophecy around 732 BCE. Was it fulfilled as described? Notice what is said by The Encyclopedia Americana (1956), Vol. III, p. 9; Light From the Ancient Past (Princeton, 1959), Jack Finegan, pp. 227-229; All Scripture Is Inspired of God and Beneficial (New York, 1983), pp. 282, 284, 295. "Isaiah wrote the prophecy before Cyrus's birth. The Jews were not taken into exile to Babylon until 617-607 BCE, and the destruction of Jerusalem and its temple did not happen until 607 BCE. In detail, starting in 539 BCE nearly 200 years later, the prophecy fulfilled. Cyrus was the founder of the Persian Empire, known at the time by "Cyrus the Great." In his campaign to conquer the Babylonian Empire, Cyrus diverted the waters of the Euphrates River into an artificial lake. The river gates of Babylon were left open during feasting in the city. Consequently, Babylon fell to the Medes and Persians under Cyrus. Thereafter, Cyrus liberated the Jewish exiles who had been in Babylonian exile for 70 years and sent them back to Jerusalem with instructions to rebuild Jehovah's temple." Ask yourself, could any human possibly know that a new rising power in the region would overthrow the mighty Babylonians, let alone be able to name the ruler who would do it? The odds of someone predicting that Babylon's destruction would happen because diverted rivers and carelessly left open gates is practically nil. Yet, that outcome occurred, as Jehovah said it would happen through Isaiah. Jehovah can speak these words with confidence. "So my word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight, and it will surely succeed in what I send it to do." (Isaiah 55:11) I hope you found that enlightening. 🙂
