Just tax the rich, simple. At least in their minds.

It's the blinders of tribal mentality. His supporters could have produced a horoscope from that day and they would have accepted it as proof.

@WarGhoulKharas Rush Limbaugh talked about it for years. After he moved to Florida, New York sent him an annual tax bill. Even after he'd moved his studio and staff completely out of state they claimed he still owed. He never payed it directly, but had to keep paying lawyers and accountants to file proof he wasn't there. After he died they probably went after the estate for inheritance taxes.

It is amazing how much they can say in a news story by not saying it.

The bread thing we can blame on Les Misérables. Anyone who's seen the looting videos can tell those people are taking care of their families. I saw several people helping each other carry out 60" loaves of flatbread in TV boxes.

A common thread I've seen in a lot of manosphere/red pill/new man videos is an emphasis on quality over quantity. First work on making yourself better. Then invest only in a woman who is worthy of expending those resources and time on.
9
Shorty Holster. The "child" you have hold your gun because police can't really do anything to him if he's caught.
9
Somehow we've flipped from unstable and an ongoing threat to society needing to be kept away from society. To unstable and an ongoing threat to society should be turned loose on that society. Progressivism has shown us so much progress.
9
By company policy he probably isn't allowed to physically interact with a thief. Why even have one at that point?
9
Rehabilitate= give meds that he's probably already been prescribed and refuses to take. Shutting down asylums was a bad idea. Yes, many of them were horror shows. But letting the crazies that refuse to take care of themselves go free range isn't working.

I would like to think DeSantis saw a potential problem and stopped it before it started. And I'll give him credit for doing so. But I have a feeling this was pushed heavily by developers and real estate companies primarily in south Florida. They have a lot of power in Tallahassee and realized they were next when it came to takeovers. Vacation homes and condos owned by people who only use them a few months a year are ripe targets for squatters who want to run their "I have a lease" scam.

Most Greens are watermelons. Dig in just a little and you find a red. Starting in the 80's, and seriously ramping up after the fall of the Soviet Union, extreme left leaning groups switched to various environmental causes.
9
I don't think Trump has gone bankrupt. Some of the companies he's owned/run have. He still had income from other sources. I believe his investments in Atlantic City were his biggest losses. But a lot of people way overestimated how much money could be made there. It was supposed to be the east coast Las Vegas, but never lived up to the hype or profitability.
9
I was a substitute for public schools and also taught in the Florida prison system. The prisoners were definitely better students. They were more motivated to be in the class. I know a lot were there to look good for a future parole board, but it was something.
9
We tried this in the 60's/70's. Known by different names in different cities, but collectively called the projects. There were reasons we eventually tore them all down.
9
If you throw enough money at something you can prop it up for a long time. San Francisco has been a fiscal black hole for years. They pull in tax revenue from the surrounding areas in the form of state and federal grants for every one of their insane ideas. Eventually the money will stop, and all hell will break loose. It will be like forcing a long term addict to quit cold turkey.
9
Bring back Vinnie and Guido. Let them explain to these scammers the health benefits of moving to another state, quickly.
9
Jimmy and Cenk arguing. All I can think of is Cripple Fight!
9
She forgot he's been in Washington for decades. He may have a potato for a brain now, but even those that appose him politically admit he can get mean when it comes to power.
9
If they had gone inside TYT would be hammering "While hiding behind cover".

They can check the maximum number of appropriate boxes for fulfilling a quota.

As a former teacher (long term substitute), we were told always go through admin first. By first they ment second, third......453rd time. Anything short of an active shooter or similar extreme case, don't involve outside authorities.

Imagine how many problems could have been solved if Uncle Joe had just let the party have a real primary. They'd still need to replace him, assuming he survived the primary. But at least they'd have a second place runner up who some Democrats had actually voted for. Not a secret choice made by a few party bosses.

@Cowboycomando54 The beach (Tidal area and slightly above) is public. But private owners make access to it nearly impossible. Beachfront property owners here in Florida have tried for decades to shut down public access to certain areas. A favorite is to allow the access point, usually a path or raised walkway, to remain. Legally it's very hard to remove one once established. But then chip away at any parking within miles of it.

Certain zip codes can have exorbitant premiums attached to policies. But that's okay, because I'm sure businesses won't pass those costs on to the customers. Especially the ones who say "They have insurance don't they"? There's a reason many large chains don't open in certain areas. It isn't the zoning laws, they could build if they wanted to. It's the risk of never seeing a return on their investment because business related costs are too high.
8
A criminal who shouldn't have been out on bail...... Wait, I thought they were against requiring bail. Or is this the one off case that shows they aren't completely insane, only mostly?
8
I'm convinced a lot of them knew full well what they were doing when they passed the eviction moratorium. Big real estate companies can afford to take a hit from a couple units not paying. But small investors who only own one or two can't. The large rental companies knew they'd be able to do a land grab when the dust settled, that's why they claimed to be understanding and compassionate when it started.
8
Shoplifting is down in Portland and Seattle. Shops being open to be robbed are also down, but I'm sure that has nothing to do with it.
8
Apologizing is like paying extortion or a shakedown. It's only ever the first of many.
8
It's not like he was doing anything truly dangerous, like going for a walk outside during the Coof lockdown. That would get you a full SWAT team in response.
7
This is SOP for a lot of activist groups. Part of "never let a crisis go to waste". Make sure to tie your cause to whatever that day's headline is.
7
If you ain't stealing you ain't authentic black. Da Supermayor, probably.
7
Check out some of the videos about the Moors. Basically sovereign citizens, but with an added racial layer. Showing up and "seizing" land that is actually theirs because of some fictional treaty is a favorite move. Others are "We don't require a driver's license or automobile registration", and "I don't recognize the court's authority to require me to pay child support."
7
I'm still waiting for the people of Illinois to ask why this went on so long, and why the state's AG did nothing. It's almost like she has the blessing from those on top.
7
A coworker left Long Beach around 2002 and moved to New Orleans. Katrina flooded his apartment and shut down the company he worked for. He didn't even consider moving back to California despite offers from some family members who still lived there. He kept heading east to Florida. I considered it a statement on how bad he thought California was when given a choice of moving back and living for free until he got settled, or taking off to another state with only the possessions he threw in his car at the last minute, he chose the later.
7
The verbal nonresponse is a sign of a sociopath trying to come up with the appropriate thing to say. Think of the scene from Terminator when Arnold is scrolling through potential responses to the landlord banging on the door. They know what they want to say, but have learned that can have negative results. So they try to come up with "What would a normal person say?" I'm not saying she is one, there are other excuses for the habit, but I wouldn't be shocked if she were.
7
I'm only surprised there's that much money left. Professional race based shakedown artists cough Jessie Jackson cough would have made sure he and his friends would have taken everything.
7
57. Also divorced. I'm thankful I'm not dating anymore. Too many of the worst aspects of my ex (Those things I chose to ignore or thought she'd change.) are accepted as average in women in their 20's/30's today. I wish guys the best of luck but warn them to be ready to bail out if you see too many warnings. You are not "soul mates", she is not the only one for you. No boat, but a big happy pup to great me when I come home.
7
Etch "thief" on the hood or around the car. Make it easier for police to find later. It will also cost them a repaint job. Only requires a key or similar hard object and they can't claim you were armed.
7
I wonder if he's managed to be banned from there too?
7
He was also preprogrammed to have an alibi. "They're (The mythical they) are going to put something in my car." He then leads police (And cameras) away from his car. Now he can claim it was unattended and anyone could have put anything in there.
7
According to the article the assailant/homeless guy lives in the park, but hasn't been caught. How far did he go when he left the scene? How long did the police actually look for him?
7
No one has been able to explain how or why they are supposed to grow in value outside of a "Then someone else buys it for more" scheme. See also, NFTs.
7
We were just following orders......
7
Only from 9-4 to clean and do yard work.
7
Ever try to get maintenance done while the property you rent is in foreclosure, or ownership is otherwise being disputed? It doesn't happen. Need an appliance replaced, plumbing done, a window replaced, or similar issue? Take care of it yourself and hope the new owners are willing to compensate. Maybe sue the previous owners, but get in line and be prepared for only partial compensation after a long wait.
7
I've said in similar videos that there's a covenant, or contract between the state and the people. We agree not to directly punish those that attack or hurt us and let the state deal with them. It isn't a perfect system, most criminals get away with their activity for a while before being arrested for only a small part of it. But they are punished and removed from society. But the covenant is broken, the contract is void. When the state refuses to uphold their end of the deal, the people are no longer required to show restraint in dealing with the problem. I'm not advocating widespread vigilante justice. Such as hanging a thief you find trying to steal your, or your neighbor's car or breaking into a house. But I'm also not going to pretend I'm surprised or upset when it happens.
7
Chicago is a machine city. If the powers that be decided a rock would be the candidate, it would win 80% of the vote. No one could remember voting for it, but somehow it could win.
7
It wasn't support of a certain micro minority community that turned people off. It was their obsession with putting that community first in everything and promoting the more unhinged members to create policies.
7
You might want to look up Penn State.
