At least publicly put some of the blame back on the cities/states that allow repeat offenders to keep walking with no consequences. When 5 MPH bumpers were being pushed an insurance company ran an ad with two cars. One with a bumper, one without. And showed the cost difference in repairs between the two in a slow speed accident. Maybe show two cities. One with woke prosecutors and judges, one where people are actually convicted of auto theft. Then show the difference in premiums. Let the people start putting pressure on law enforcement to arrest car thieves and keep them out of society.

Good advice about not going with the supposed attacker when there's a high profile or high emotion crime. I learned a long time ago that almost all the reported information in the first 24 hours is usually wrong. The days of "Get it right, first" are long gone.

Some studies have shown [Anything You Want]. I was called out on this in a 9th or 10th grade debate. Whenever a commentator uses it as a basis for their argument I need to see what study. When, where, how, and by whom it was done. Or, to put it in internet speak, show me the receipts.

Isn't it amazing how so many get elected and suddenly become wealthy.
6
My favorite part is the Governor going out and reassuring everyone that this is only being done to Trump. No one has to worry because it won't be done to anyone else. Also, this somehow isn't selective enforcement. Clown World is over. We've gone over the cliff.

Gimme check, law be damned.

Blaq!

He says to an audience filled with women wearing wigs and weaves made from Asian hair, often dyed European colors. But we'll just ignore that.
6
Anna has such a condescending tone. It reminds me of a teenager who knows everything.

Chicago is a political machine city. It has been since I was born there back in 1966. If you know how to feed the machine it will reward you. See Obama and Lightfoot as the two newest, but far from few examples.
6
Logic and reality have never stopped them before, why start now?
6
AntiFa putting out fires? I guess I could direct you to the videos of various AntiFa members lighting up each other, and occasionally themselves, when they noodle arm a molotov. They try to put those fires out, if that counts.
6
It's been on a downward spiral at least since the 90's. In the last decade it went straight into a nose dive.
6
The cameras can only follow him if there are eyes watching the screen. But that would require a DAto actually ask cops to do their job so the prosecutors can do theirs.

One company was offering no daily charge, just milage for anyone driving to certain cities in California from out of state. Others are changing extra fees up front if your listed drop-off location is outside of California. Got to get those last few bucks from you on the way out.
6
One of the network news programs did a twenty year update on the areas effected by the LA riots. Most of them have become prosperous centers of black owned businesses. No, wait. I meant to say still looked like a post apocalypse wasteland. Most people had no desire to try again just to be robbed and burned out for their efforts. LA and the state of California even started offering huge tax breaks and waving certain fees for anyone willing to place their business in the area. Very few takers.

Aladdin stealing construction equipment because they need it to rebuild their own homes that were destroyed by white supreme pizzas.
6
There's a contract, or covenant if you prefer, between the people and government. We the people will not seek revenge for being wronged in exchange the government will protect us from those intending to do wrong. We accept that the system isn't perfect, but it usually worked. The government has forfeited it's end of the bargain. Prosecutors now claim "reformative justice" while providing no justice for the victims of the criminals. They refuse to prosecute purely based on the ethnic or social ideology of the criminal. People dealing with other people causing problems directly (vigilantism if you prefer) will become the only option available.
6
I believe he's an advocate for a group that also wants to outlaw landlords. Having a home is a right and should be provided for free from the government without individuals profiting from owning property. Apparently the government is supposed to provide free healthcare, food, transportation, and just plain cash among other things. How to pay for it, not his problem.
6
Yet company after company keeps hiring Zoe so she can come in to create chaos, destroy ongoing projects, and take credit for anything the company still manages to release after her time is over.
6
A follow-up about cancelling required Critical Race Theory teaching in schools and government offices would have been good. Perhaps he assumes most people know what it is. But if he actually said a few of the points in it, people would know what an idiotic and racist program it is and why it should never have been implemented.
6
The biggest thing going against her is her notoriety. She may be too high profile, and her crimes too obvious to be ignored. Corruption is standard behavior in Illinois, doubly so in Chicago and surrounding areas. Convictions and prison time is rare.
6
I'm sitting here in Florida, a state with no income tax. Furthermore, the state legislator or governor can't implement one even if they wanted to. It's written into our state's constitution. Even back when Florida was founded they knew not to trust politicians with access to our wallets.
6
Person with a gun reported "Go get them." Clearly unstable person with a gun reported "Lets not be hasty. We need to sit back and study the situation. Maybe bring in an expert panel and get some sort of consensus before moving forward." Sympathy for the mentally ill, but at a certain point someone is too far gone to be allowed to wander free in society. This guy sounds like he passed that point a while ago.
6
By ten out of 12 top Democrat donors. They're certain she'll do her (their) job.
6
We needed a more fluid mental health care system. Many were in fact living hells. If you weren't crazy going in, you definitely would be by the time you got out. Unfortunately those that could be treated and live among society were dumped in with the truly insane. One size fits all was shifted from lock them all up for their own good, to turn them all loose for their own good.
6
A lot of states have Romeo and Juliet laws that can make an exception if the age is close enough and parents are aware.
6
In Florida we did the lockdown for a bit. Then masks. Then decided fuckit, do your thing, I'll do mine. Amazingly, this actually works.
6
This was just the idiot that wrote it out. I'm sure more than a few field reps just skipped all on their own. With or without a supervisor's knowledge.
6
Of course if they're rigged up for a raid they expect resistance from, they'll be criticized for being in "Military Assault Gear".
6
A former slave trading site and graveyard were found during construction in New York in the early 2000's. So, using Lance Logic there was an active slave trade in NY up until the 21st century.
6
It's Minnesota, basically standard operating procedure.
6
I'm surprised there wasn't the obligatory "My baby didn't do nothing" mom holding up his 6th grade picture in the news report.
6
Any pushback, however small, is a loss of forward momentum. Everything they've demanded and gotten is only the beginning. They see this as a roadblock to whatever their goal is. I'm guessing the elimination of all private property rights.

If I had a relatively common surgery at a hospital and they gave me the wrong blood type, assuming I survived, I could sue them into the dirt. Giving someone the wrong egg, letting her go through a full pregnancy, then having to give up the child should bankrupt the clinic and everyone involved.
5
It's an update of Jessie Jackson's Rainbow PUSH shakedown. If a company gave money to Jackson and his friends they were far less likely to have a Rent-A-Mob show up in front of their headquarters or stores and disrupt business while calling them bad names.
5
One of the unmovable rules of socialists, "Get your hands out of MY pocket."
5
Do you realize how many people still believe the whole "Hands up, don't shoot" myth? Unfortunately you could sit down and go through the report, line by line, and they'll still claim the police murdered an innocent black man for no reason.
5
I had someone use that argument in another post. I pointed out I got that "stuff" with money I was given in exchange for time at work. If you worked however many hours it took to earn the replacement of whatever things and cash were being stolen, and your boss decided not to pay you, would you be okay with it?
5
Short term thinking. Most of them will take $10 today over $100 next year, or even month. Besides, all the talk about "community" is BS. They'd rob their neighbors if they thought their neighbor had enough to make it worth while.
5
Make statement. Faint. No need to answer questions. Immediately followed by man repeating "Hands up don't shoot" myth and saying there's no need for an investigation. Nothing suspicious here, just give them the money.
5
At this point I'd feel safer with Hell's Angels over the do nothing system they've got.
5
Take the word "unity" out of his speech and replace it with "submit" and "comply", and it becomes much more accurate. As far as the Republicans standing up to Pres Biden/Harris, don't count on it. They'll demand 100% of something and the Republicans will ask for a more reasonable 90%, they'll eventually agree on 99%. Biden/Harris/Pelosi are going to steamroll the House and Senate, especially the Senate.
5
Supermayor. A woman who would rob a bank and then deposit the money in her account at the same bank. She'd also go off on the teller for questioning where she got the money.
5
Crime is supposedly down, if you don't count New York. Crime is down in New York. Keeping up with the latest propaganda is getting confusing.
5
I believe it's 20/200 or have other restrictions. A friend from years ago was considered blind due to a severe narrow field of view. When he read a book, which he could see clearly, his head moved like he was watching a tennis match. He could only see two or three words at a time.
5
@casebased8391 I was referring to guys who are in the dating pool for those women. Other men currently in their 20's and 30's. Sorry for not making that obvious enough.
5
Women "he needs to have the sixes. He has to have a minimum 6 figure income, 6' tall, and 6" under the belt. I have standards and won't compromise!" Men "I want someone who doesn't look like an offensive lineman." Internet "reeeeEEEEEEEEEE! How dare you."
5
It makes you miss the days when Vinnie and Guido would "explain" to the squatter why he should be moving on.
5
Option 1: Admit you made a mistake based on bad information available at the time, but it might make Pres Trump look good. Option 2: Keep doing what you are doing even though it is literally killing people. But allows you to keep claiming Orange Man Bad. Do you think they even considered Option 1 for a second?
