Claim it wasn't real communism? At least that seems to be a favorite excuse.

Unfortunately almost none of the BLM sheep will ever here the rest of the story. They'll get the story of "Police kill black man", and accept that it was another racist execution.
2
@mrgrimreaper94 Some states use death row as a substitute for life without parole if that isn't available for sentencing.
2
@MagpieAnnie73 I'm sure they didn't get a discount and paid full fare. Much like the hotels that filled up with the previous wave.
2
Assuming they were paid at all. Many policies don't cover losses that result from civil disorder/riots. Merchandise whether stolen, or lost due to destruction is a separate part of the policy. It costs more and never gives full retail value.

I've done long term subbing in public schools and taught in the Florida prison system. I enjoyed the prisoners more. I also thought they learned more. Classes were also more organized and focused, though sometimes surreal. Most of the reason was that my students in prison understood the idea that screwing up had direct consequences.

@nismo510 It varies from state to state. But some have a time limit, like after 10 days you are considered a resident of that location. Others simply require that you accepted mail at an address to make it official.

Next step is to blockade the tracks with a stolen car, then swarm it when it stops.

Insanity opens many new worlds and opportunities.

I have a short, Germanic name. But people seem to be unable to say it. Between kindergarten and the time I graduated only one teacher got it right. She had a long Polish name, so I figure she'd spent most of her life correcting other people and was more aware of checking before saying it. When my father retired from the Navy they misspelled his name. Neither he nor I have been offended by this, it had become something of a joke within our family.
2
I try to avoid well done burgers. (Yes, I know all the USDA recommendations.) If I'm paying $50 or more for a steak it had better be safe even Pittsburgh style. If you are going to blast it all the way to well done, go somewhere cheap where you can't tell the difference and save some money.
2
I had a supply of "veterinary" penicillin. I could buy it over the counter at a feed store, but human penicillin required a prescription. There's a conversion chart for size and dosage for easy use. It's the same stuff, just packaged differently.
2
SOP in San Francisco and several other areas. Leave your car unlocked to prevent people from breaking your windows in order to find out there's nothing in the car.
2
The Billionaire Bonnet Club.
2
Report that I'm being bribed, (Maybe not give exact numbers) but immediately file a whistleblower claim against it. Claim everything as my reward. If thieves and drug dealers are allowed to keep their money as long as they claim it on their taxes, I should be allowed to keep any bribes I've reported. Also a bonus for getting out of jury duty.
2
"Allowing", "Encouraging" either works.
2
We're at "How dare you even question if there is a situation. You racist!"
2
Police report: The suspect was in a locked room with the victim. We heard him say, and have recordings of him saying "I'm going to kill you!" We heard six shots, then immediately kicked in the door. We saw him standing over the victim with a smoking revolver." Kimberly Fox "Sounds racist. Let him go."
2
Claim someone borrowed the phone. Can't prove otherwise.
2
Parents being shamed? Nope. It will be a single mother holding a picture of their innocent baby's sixth grade graduation and giving the dindu nuffin speech.
2
Recalls do work. Unfortunately they usually end up curing the symptoms but not treating the actual problem. Too often voters replace the recalled person who is "only" 80% as bad as the one they got rid of. The solution is wholesale replacement of City/County/State elected officials. Not all need to go in one or two cycles, but enough that the rest fear for their jobs along with the privileges and perks that come with them.
2
I think the Illinois AG is hoping to wait for an election. Once she's voted out the AG Office can let it quietly slip away. Dragging a strong, back, independent woman (Who happens to have a D in front of her name) is going to be a PR circus. The feds are also investigating, but I can see them dumping the whole mess on the next administration.

Wait, do you mean to tell me that releasing TikTok videos showing how little work you actually do at work might not be a good idea? Didn't they teach this is business classes these mental giants took in college? Oh yeah, they didn't study business. They studied feelings and how businesses are bad.
2
It's an old tactic. Prove to me there were absolutely no exceptions. Because there isn't, for example, photographic evidence of every person in history you can't disprove their point. Hence "Black Viking Queen". Similarly there is the argument that Empire X extended into an area, so people common to that area today would be represented in all areas of the empire. This is how we end up with Scottish Picts of African or Arabic ancestry. Unfortunately much of modern history studies has become about as reliable as fan fiction.

As this finished I turned on the live trial coverage. The judge was ripping the prosecutor a new ass.
2
She's enough of a narcissist that she probably believes her own BS. She won't stop, just keep doubling down.
2
Lot of talk about arrests. Nothing about prison time. Those arrested know they have to make a few inconvenient court appearances, then they are free.
2
Neither do the taxes. But they'll probably find some way to claim they don't owe property tax either.
2
My nearest one is three and a half miles. Where I used to live it was around nine. Obviously my rights are being violated. I DEMAND REPARATIONS NOW!

@nickelakon5369 I worked for the Florida Department of Corrections as a teacher. There were some who were in the program because they honestly wanted to be better once they got out. Some were working the system, like trying to look good for a better chance at parole. Some were hopeless. We knew they'd be back once they got out, it was only a matter of how soon. I and the other instructors could tell which were which almost immediately. I also did long term subbing for public high schools. The old story of teachers knowing who was a student and who was there until they were old enough to be charged with adult crimes is also true. I heard a lot of teachers refer to various schools as pre prison daycare.

@GANTZ100pts True. Insurance never covers 100% of the loss. Plus, your rates go up after making a claim. Insurance companies, like casinos, don't stay in business by paying out.

Are we feeling fully enriched yet?

Before you rush to judgement....... So, don't watch the video we literally just showed.
2
She has a possible reason to ask about her sandwich. In my local Wawa you have to pay at the register before they'll start making your order. She just wanted what she paid for and realized it was more likely to get a sub than an employee opening a register for a refund.
2
Consider it a sign of success on YouTube when you're finally reached the point when people have added you to their auto bots for a thumbs down.
2
Except even fast food places have been shutting down because people waiting at the drive through are getting robbed.
2
Probably on the short list for director of some department.
2
I feel like a slave in this job. I can think of a few million former slaves who would be willing to trade places. Even if just for a month or two. I'd like to think her attitude and choice of terminology would change. But more likely her broken woke brain would double down.
2
If you see something, say something. Remember that? Say what? To who? No one is going to do anything other than complain that you are making ist/phobic/whatever accusations.
2
9:00 The thing is Rashad is completely wrong.... So, another day that ends in Y?
2
Imagine the sh*tstorm if a police chief told a SA victim "You went to a frat party. What did you expect to happen?"

My mother did it with the Duval County (Jacksonville FL) schools. In her case they back loaded benefits towards the end of an employee's time. It was intended to cut costs in the long run because they wouldn't have to pay people who left early. Unfortunately they failed to take into account that this was a big incentive to stay and ended up paying way more in retirement than they expected. To solve this problem they started switching to private companies so they weren't responsible for long term payments. My Mom quit, collected her nice retirement package, and then went back to work doing a similar job for the company the county hired. You are correct, it was some genius who decided to kick the can down the road and figured there would be a better way in the future. It's like using your Visa to pay off MasterCard. Eventually you have to pay, and the amount isn't going to be less when that time comes.
2
Pookie and Ray Ray have cousins who vote. One criminal set free can get you a dozen votes from his family.
2
I'm wondering how many federal prosecutors are waiting in the wings in case the state fails to convict him? This seems to be the new way to get around double jeopardy in high profile politicized cases.
2
Murkowski will do whatever her Sister in the Struggle, Pelosi, asks.
2
Person is attacked by a shark. Florida "He drowned while being attacked by a shark." MSN "He wouldn't have been in the water if Florida had completely locked down. It's COVID! Impeach the lying governor!"
2
They do get arrested, sometimes. But the system short circuits when prosecutors drop charges. Or a fellow traveler judge decides a plee deal that comes down to nothing is acceptable. Arrest them in the morning. Feed them lunch in jail. Make sure they're home by dinner so they can be out that night doing it all over again.
2
A former professor who taught logic and debate used the term "Find the slice missing from the pizza." What is not mentioned is usually their weakest point or the data that can disprove their entire position.
2
But look at how much places like Seattle and Portland have improved since the "protests". If you interpret the word improved as synonyms was sh*thole.
2
Never let reality stand in the way of propaganda. Especially if it is profitable propaganda.
