  29. Just look up the unanimously-passed UN Security Council Resolution # 1386, which authorized the action in Afghanistan. Even Russia and China (!) voted in favour of it. The coalition force comprising over 40 countries (from every continent) was called the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). But perhaps you feel the UN treated the Taliban unjustly. If so, you of course have every right to that opinion.
