  6. Thank you, Mayor Olivia Flake. This re-naming stems from an inaccurate portrayal of Henry Dundas in a 2020 film. He opposed slavery. He simply advocated a gradual ban as the fastest way to get it through Parliament. Of Dundas' recommended gradualism, Oxford history professor Brian Young says "Anything other than this would have put back the cause of abolition by decades."

  25. 1) To say the dog being off-leash "precipitated this incident" leaves out half of it at least: the dog is clearly a pit bull or pit bull mix. I remember the Attorney General of Ontario banning pit bulls in the province some years ago. What happened to that? 2) That security guard really stepped up. Big respect for that.

No blockades, no interference, just minimal observation. Now that it's parents of schoolchildren who don't like government education policies, they withdraw their co-operation.
