Gaza is instead a war zone, and it's a war zone thanks to Hamas. Tragically, civilians die in war zones. Speaking of WWII, civilians died in the Allied liberation of Holland.   21. Shelters aren't really unsafe and homeless people know this. Some do prefer the street, but it's not because it's genuinely safer. It's commonly because either (1) they can do drugs whenever they want, including all night long, without worrying about staff; (2) they're dyed-in-the-wool loners; (3) they fear running into certain specific enemies, generally from jail; or (4) yes they feel unsafe, but that's because they suffer from true paranoia.

  34. It was right to pursue the van when it left the scene of the robbery. The real danger arose when the van entered the wrong lanes of traffic. But what makes anyone think that not chasing the van at the point would've made the van going the wrong way any safer? The robber's choice was maximally unsafe.

I faulted him or her on the grounds of sense or logic. "Injured following [a] shooting" is clear enough — or nearly clear enough — but it's ludicrous. Anyway, in journalistic writing there should be no difference between what is said and what is meant. So it turns out you're the one seeking to correct another person without knowing what you're talking about.😂 No big deal, though. It has semi-rural areas. Toronto (2023 est.): 3.0 million in 240 sq.mi. (Btw, it's still noted by foreign visitors for its spaciousness.) To make Manhattan (¼ the area) the same density as Gaza, you'd have to remove 85% of its people. How can anyone fall so hard for the propaganda of a terra wrist group like Hamas and the sad left-wing student dupes at the elite US universities — the parents of whom are shelling out half a million dollars for their "education"?
