  8. EPA footprint laws that have more lenient mpg targets for larger vehicles.hence why the civic keeps growing. also why they dropped the 2.0t accord, but are a-OK selling hordes of pilots that barely get 20mpg

  13.  @mlgsnip3rv291  the FN2 was a disaster tbh. It made the same hp as the EP3 but heavier and torsion beam rear suspension. In fact, the USDM FA5/FG2 Si made the same power with IRS and would have cost less too. Its also why Honda had the FD2 with the proper suspension and K20A for the Japanese market. That being said, as a daily the FN2 is quite fine

  17. GH is nowhere near as nice and top trim is still 4 cylinder only. you're probably thinking of TX CX90 is cheaper but the MDX is way more usable if you care about using the 3rd row on your 3 row SUV

  18. you shouldnt have to "set up" infotainment to use the AC. this was never an issue on the Mk7.5, but it now is on the mk8. Why? because VW cut costs and played with people's safety in the pursuit of profits. I get in my FL5 and I don't have tp "set up" anything to use the fan controls.

  21. Unless you drove on unplowed roads all the time, this would be fine with snow tires. The civic is a cut above the Corolla in everything except awd lol. Personally i think that makes the gr corolla the better street car but the civic is the better performance car overall

  37. honda japan has tried time and time again to kill the Si outright. 8th gen was supposed to get an r18 and the 10th gen was supposed to get a lot less HP too the 200hp is honda of America fighting to keep the si name alive that being said the Si is now large and expensive enough to warrant more power. its the same money ish as a GLI with a more potent 2.0l assuming the 12th gen civic grows more and becomes more expensive, an Si version of that will be into type r money

  43.  @ZenzDeluxe  i mean its still a VW golf you're paying $45k+ for, and one that is essentially a hopped up version of a $20k commuter car. if all you care about is impressing other people around you and not the car itself id recommend a base model 3 series or C class. you can say you drive a benz or BMW and someone might look your way.

Actual sports cars are too expensive and the current sedans/hatches are well built, dynamic, and spacious enough to be a single car does all solution. Much better than a shitty Rouge. Nissan could easily make an Si or Elantra N competitor ti bring young enthusiasts back into the brand but theyd rather make toasters for karens to sit high in
