irmasil3 I have. Not sure how that effects the playing of the others I listed.

I can’t get passed the crappy canned drum machine sound, that everyone singer sings the same, and they really don’t have anything to say.
2
I doubt most people that will turn up care either way. Maybe I'm just negative but I doubt most fans can name anyone besides Edge and Bono.
2
@EricWmUpdate that's the only song I've heard of hers and that's only because it was used for this japanese TV show I watched. That being said I don't like the Beatles either.
2
@orlock20 who do you think listens to the beatles now?
2
@nicholashylton6857 Elvis, the stones etc... but again nobody under 40 listens to any of them.
2
@jeremystarling9885 I'm 52, I use YouTube. Why do you think only young people use YouTube. You've lietraly made my point and the point of the article, Taylor Swift is more popular right now. Nobody is claiming she's sold more albums career wise. Learn to read. You guys are so cultist about the Beatles. Again, a current artist being more popular now than a group from 50 years ago shouldn't be news to anyone.
2
@reggierubio2893 it's not. Because you're talking about "beter" when that's not under discussion. The only thing said is in 2024 Taylor sells more albums. That's it. You guys have twisted this into a "that means she's better than the beatles" narrative. In 1984 Prince sold more albums than the beatles. Just like in 2000 The Matrix sold more DVDs than the godfather. That doesn't mean ones better. Whichnis why I've said multiple times how stupid this whole thing is because it's literally how music and films always worked. The fact Dookie sold more copies the year it came out than some album in 1965 shouldn't surprise anyone.
2
@theonlycaulfield but thats not relevant. The question is who's more popular not who's had a bigger music influence. The facts are people under 40 don't listen to the beatles.
2
Guitar faces that would make Paul Gilbert proud.
2
Thanks for introducing me to Intervals. Have been listening to them non stop since the video.
2
Where's Whitesnake?
2
Guthrie has the most epic frazzing.
1
Would is like my favorite song. Gives my shivers every time.
1
That first Steve Vai interview is how I found your channel. Keep up the great work.
1
How is there only 8 strings on that guitar? The neck looks huge!
1
Left out another plus of the longer scale length using lighter gauge strings. On a shorter scale they get super floppy. Also nit buying the tote wood thing at all.
1
Love this track
1
thats my favorite part as well.
1
Too derivative for me.
1
Is this how Ed Schearen usually sounds? I've never listened to a song of his. It sounds really overproduced and I thought he was known for being striped down.
1
What is that sweeping effect on that first guitar part?
1
On those “Walking awaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyssssss” I can’t help but think of Spinal Tap. “You can go and get a bite & waaaaaaaaa”
1
What isnt wrong with American Idol?
1
No doubt unlimited choices has hurt music. I spoke to Billy Sheehan and I asked him about how he developed his playing style. He said in his band Talas there was just the 3 of them and they needed to find a way to make the band sound bigger without adding more musicians. So he started doing the bends, chords, tapping,.... as a way to do that. Invention is the mother of necessity. If you have unlimited choices you don’t need to invent anything new.
1
Its funny, all these songs start and I'm saying I've never heard this one before and then it changes and bam.
1
So glad Nuno called out the Guilmore fab boys. They are the f-ing worst gatekeeping loosers.
1
What a brilliant thoughtful cat.
1
This was so amazing.
1
Please please please do The Smiths
1
Man I was thinking your license was revoked from the title. Lol
1
Ricks gonna need a bengay bath after grieving so hard. Lol
1
I hadn’t clue what this song was, until I heard the first notes. Then I was like I totally know this song. Lol never knew who sang it or the name.

TBF the list is Rock players
1
TBF it’s a rock hero list not jazz
1
Am I the only one that when Frank said "Jazz/blues changes" I thought of Spinal Tap and that they were really blues/jazz changes?
1
This is such a great song for so many reasons I wouldn’t even know where to start.
1
I dont find it addictive at all.
1
That Jane Child song wasn't familiar at all, until the chorus.
1
Gregg is the best. I'd watch a 24hr 7 days a week Gregg Bissonette channel. He coukd be reading the dictionary and he'd make it fab.
1
Is this song great? I hate it. When TRHCP got lame.
1
Loved the instrumentation on the bleed from within song, but I just hate the vocals. Same for the So called life track.
1
Oh I remember his song. Lol
1
Its clearly not a track. I dont know why anyone would even ask. He's clearly playing.
1
@wpochert I've never even heard the song bbefore. Lol
1
Really interesting how Andy has trouble sweeping down picking. I have the same problem. Never considered thinking of work around for them.
1
@liquidsolids9415 he did say he heard that song and st anger.
1
@Sizko969 you clearly don't listen to polyphia if you think every song sounds the same.
1
@phaaaze9984 hes said he intentionally doesn't listen to guitar music because he doesn't want to be influenced by it. He wants to sound different. He's far from the onky musician to write music in a genre he doesn't listen to. Angel Vivaldi says he doesn't listen to metal either.
1
But some things just can't be done live. Like you've got an orchestra part for 1 song. You can't tour with an orchestra, especially for just 1 song. Financially it just doesn't work. If it's a fan favorite they want to hear that song. They can't not play it. Or maybe bakcing vocals. Having to pay a couple people, plus hotel, food etc... it just makes more sense to have them pre recorded. Especially these days when you can't make any money selling albums.
