  6.  @elib9002  Paul never met Jesus. He had a vision. The gospels written by anonymous authors, and none of the gospels have a first hand claim to witnessing a resurrected Jesus. There are no contemporary writings for Jesus outside of the Bible. Scholars don’t agree with your assessment of the New Testament. Also, we have no original manuscripts.

Any supernatural claim is then unfalsifiable. How does one square holding an unfalsifiable world view? Using unreliable methods, perhaps? So the question is, how would you demonstrate the difference between what is supernatural and what is imaginary?

You do t seem like you’re aware that, according to the Bible, your God made slavery permissible by his own laws. Slavery is neither just, nor moral. But hey, neither is Hell, and your friend gets credit for creating Hell,and suffering. So start with demonstrating your god exists in reality, or admit you can’t. And as for understanding things properly, that also applies to reality…and you’re lacking there. But out of the two of us, I bet I’m the only,one who attended Seminary.

  42.  @wingerding  Sorry, but the Christian Bible,includes both the Old and New Testaments. And, the verse where Jesus directs slaves to obey their earthly masters is in the New Testament. It’s just dishonest to suggest the OT is not part of the Christian Bible, as every version of the Christian Bible today contains those chapters and verses. Also, according to the Christian Bible, Jesus said he was not here to change the laws, but fulfill them. Right?

All evidence in history points to the mundane, which means any natural explanation is far more likely. For the same reason, if I claimed to have a pet dog, versus claiming I have a pet dragon.   50.  @kensperspective  Lack of proof means your claims cannot be demonstrated to be true, and as such do not warrant any level of confidence that they are true. In particular, the supernatural claims. I don’t have malice towards beings I don’t think exist. I can, however, offer an internal critique of characteristics based on the Bible, and the claims made within the Bible. I’m not mad at Darth Vader, either.
