  5. Cellulose is a plastic. Some plastics are natural and some are artificial and come from petrol (after some chemistry). Cooked eggs denatures the proteins which creates a plastic like substance (the white flexible part). There is one called polylactose I think, that SunChips used for a year. It was noisy and was biodegradeable. It was good stuff. Polyethylene is the most common plastic made. It is very durable. It can resists strong acids and bases. It's also possible to make it from plants.

So, they collect DNA samples from various people in other countries who are mostly pure and that's what they compare with. For example, a scientific analysis of armenians have revealed that they have been pretty isolated. Today's armenian people's DNA was compared to old skeletons found in the same country. They are the most unmixed people according to the study.

Some are sending their kids to school to learn armenian. Of course, a lot of armenians have been reprogrammed as kids to grow up as turks. A lot of them are grandparents now and probably most have already died since they would be beyond 100 y old if they are still alive. So, their descendants are turks and are comfortable being muslim.

  11. Leaving religion is a beautiful thing. The world was a mystery to our ancestors and so, they invented religions and gods over time. Each culture ended up with a different religion with some copying their neighbors a little. The best way to know the universe is to study it: science.

  16. Health canada allows homeopathic "medicine". I tried to see why they allow it and what testing has been performed. I could not find anything. I looked for contact information on their site and nope! There is no contact information. Homeopathic "medicine" is just a con game. They are just sugar (sorbitol) pills. This is what Throat Ease contains: sorbitol (makes it taste like sugar) caramel (for color and flavor) sodium benzoate (bacteria inhibitor) potassium sorbate citric acid This isn't medicine. It is your run of the mill, everyday compounds that you find in food.

If you are of russian descent and Canada sends you to Russia, would you bomb the cities of your homeland? These issues have arisen multiple times in the past. What did they do with the canadians from Japan during WW2? What did the USA do? There was the case of a certain muslim in the US army. When the USA went to Afghanistan to deal with the taliban, that soldier through a grenade in the tent of his sergeant and killed him. I think european culture is better compared to those in muslim countries since there is more freedom. As a woman, you can drive a car, you can get an education. You aren’t forced to get married. You can go out anytime. Being LGBT is ok. Being an atheist or having another religion is ok.

Because the USA uses fluid ounce as a measure. 237 mL = 8 USA fl oz. I don't know why they chose 315 mL for the breakfast thing. 10.65 USA fl oz is not a round number. The lady says : Why do you market this as a healthy drink when it has 38 g of sugar per bottle? Answer: The product provides... a good breakfast choice with energy, protein and other nutrients...for the often rushed and on-the-go consumer.". Everyone is a politician these days. This is the kind of no-answer answer that I expect from a politician. Get used to it. A lot of people around us are politicians.

  32. Chlorine is also dangerous to certain metals such as iron and aluminium. They will get coated with FeCl3 and AlCl3. In other words, it damages tools, vehicles. I'm talking about chlorine in the form of a gas. Chlorine also dissolves well in water and I assume it can still attack such metals. It also forms HCl and HClO in water.

That information comes from researchers (what they publish) and probably the research is very young. Sometimes it is complex. It isn't just one genes that effects something, but there may be 100 genes involved. In some cases, like hemophilia, there is I think 2 genes. Hemophilia is very well understood now and treatable.
