@clovismerovingian2239 theres quite a few complications like exclaves with that Like atlanta or miami or any city in the texan triangle all of which are much "northern" for lack of a better term than anything else. What you say still might be true for the countryside, but theres a reason why atlanta is called the chigago of the south because it has more in common with chigago than the rest of georgia. I said canada would fit in better than the south not that the south doesnt fit in those are 2 diffrent things.

@nerd_nato564 quick question HOW WILL YOU ENFORCE THAT CHANGE If the UN can't even enforce the Paris Agreement on China,India,Ethiopia,Nigeria,Russia,ETC. What do you think you can do.
1
@nerd_nato564 OK so fly over to China and protest there . . . Do you see my point?

BLM aka Belgian lives matter Also if that would happen it would just be "greater Netherlands" and slightly SLIGHTLY closer to the "natural boarders of France" IF THE BRITISH LET THEM sorry frankophiles but your never getting more than wallonia at most.
1
@jorritvanderkooi939 so then how would the British respond they are the only reason why that Belgium existed in the first place and it was simply to funnel the Germans and french into alsace-lorrein simply so they would struggle to expand into each other like what happened for centuries of the 2 pushing lines back and forth between HRE minors and France. Would they let them go around the only distinct boarder between them before the Rhine?
1
@ronjayrose9706 THAT NEVER HAPPENED just like a square incident
1
The Nova renaissance yeah fare enough Still though it is a funny claim and we'll it is a real claim just a stupidly funny one.
1
@Whatareyoudoinnhere poland set up its own gouvernment Finlands gouvernment at independence was mainly reminants of anti communist russians.
1
@Whatareyoudoinnhere sweds and danes are not Fins are the heirs to the russian empire "3rd" rome so thats a thing.
1
@bsfoxo3329 what about egyptians or maghribis
1
@MS-qd1jj sorry but ROMA DELENDA EST.
1
@SpamQGamers there was tension between the 2 even before they took it Part of sinai was claimed by isreal after independence and that teritorial dispute once dropped was seen as a act of good faith by the egyptians.

@François Miville American politics have nothing to do with it the one thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on is sending to Isreal no one in us politics is against Isreal And we'll before trump came in to turn "neo cons" Into "never trumpers" because of his stance of Afghanistan and other wars we did our original objective in killing bin laden before it's shifted to nation building.
1
@François Miville there's on thing everyone in US politics agrees on we should have bases in Egypt and we should send guns to Isreal.
1
@François Miville I honestly don't think the problems with the American police force is Really overblown It's probably because I've been in the Dominican Republic where police were accepting bribes to let people violate quarantine Not saying they don't have problems big city cops definitely do its just I think it's blown way out of proportion.
1
Mad respect in not slamming a "safe and ready meals" add here it would detract from the horror of the topic your trying to convey if you started talking about product statistics alongside global statistics

A EU army will face the same issues the austro-hungarian army faced to the extreme. Language barrier would be a major flaw
1
@evanscarbrough9711 the UK is currently in a similar position to the us right now I still do use the BBC but take it with more of a grain of salt I also using singlish and manglish media simply because I get an outsiders POV without a bias on stuff like EU politics which the BBC is 100% biased on.
1
@evanscarbrough9711 oh okay
1
@bullettime8760 assuming I hold the same position half a year later I was really ignorant at the time I had no idea of how much Indonesia was investing into interior Borneo I honestly though it was treated in a similar way to western Papua I was wrong Still stand by my statements on western Papua or Aceh are probably going to have unrest. Edit for a idea of how far my opinions changed I think sabah falling to the philippines is more likley than borneo having some mass revolt that drives the javans out. You know how super unlikey that is take a militeristic and jingoistic phillipeans and a allready pacifist indonesia with the indonesian high comand royally screwing up which IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN but thats more likley than borneo having a mass revolt.
1
@Kunnis do you play Roma delenda est?
1
Just a prediction the US will have somthing inbetween states and the federal gouvernment like a somthing to do with the southern states, new england,castcadia/pacific northwest, somthing to do with the great plans area, california and texas potentially as there own thing, potentially appalachia as well. Edit just as exsamples but I fell like theres going to be somthing inbetween states and the federal gouvernment.

@billcipherproductions1789 the French Opération Mousquetaire was also a part of the suez crisis It ended in the same failure as the uk version ended in.

Only one thing is inherently Marxist envy at capitalism You can want to replace capitalism with a die hard command ecconomy or some utopian ecconomy based on altruism and still be a Marxist Plus what whatifalthist is describing is recent thing didn't exist before WW2 so if anything that's a reactionary quote wanting to undo recent changes.
1
@Khajiidaro It wasnt big back then outside of russia which allready saw some issues due to decline of traditional orthodox being replaced by catholic and protestant I mean stuff Ideologies like prussian constitutionalism was big.

@eljanrimsa5843 It was for centuries beforehand and I mean in someways colonialism and racism are still stable today just look at modern china https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/coronavirus-china-mcdonalds-black-people-home-evictions-a9465776.html%3famp or modern day France and how they still practice "colonialism" in north and west africa today. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.africanexponent.com/amp/post/8126-how-france-remains-a-west-and-central-african-colonial-master The ottoman empire on the other hand why would it be less stable than the British and French empires that ended it with closer cultural affinity and not memory of prior to conquest. I would expect it to be more stable than the british and french argue They would be less equipped to deal with instability not that it would be less stable.
1
@eljanrimsa5843 okay and the british and french after managed to hold onto the land the ottomans held onto with much less cultural affinity. 19Th century-colonialism okay should have specified what kind of colonialism you were talking about earlier. Instead of just saying colonialism it easily could have reformed into "neocolonialism" but yeah 19th century kind I see where your coming from. And racism debunked yeah alot of stuff got debunked and its still popular monotheistic religions, marxist theory working as marx invesioned,ETC alot of stuff is still popular even after being debunked. Its still popular today in east asian countrys like China or Malaysia in fact the only reason singapore even exsists was the racist malaysian gouvernment didnt want a majority chinese city in the country so they kicked them out. Not to mention modern china and how they do stuff like this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/coronavirus-china-mcdonalds-black-people-home-evictions-a9465776.html%3famp

@danielw.8356 oh not to mention all of the artificial boarders that only exist because america doesn't want a power Vacume in. If america pulls out eventually the populations will "sort it out themselves". Not to mention how unstable supply chains are and how few countries have navy's to support them. The stability of the American lead world order is artificial held in place by america.
1
@danielw.8356 America didn't fuck up not doing operation downfall america fucked up by making everyone in the world dependent on them protecting ocean trade. For example protecting chinas trade resulted in China becoming China And also protecting trade has resulted in so many country's populations being able to grow way past there own abilities to sustain themselves. For example Nigeria has a population of 201 million If america doesn't protect there trade they can only support a population of around 120 million as a high end estimate. And this example holds true for so many places. America has got itself in so many places it really shouldn't be in and if it pulls out it would be a disaster for the country's itself. In other worlds america set up a global house of cards it has to hold to keep it up.
1
@danielw.8356 okay imperial powers What empires are there today? That's my very point theres going to be alot of places that colaspe and then neo empires are probably going to rise up If collapse of nations leaving a power vacume for empires then there would be stability Beforehand mass instability.
1
. . . Defacto post taiping qing. Those warlords didnt come out of nowhere. The qing created them to fight the taiping rebels.
1
Ah modern china. How some things never change
1
Not going to last Once we feel safe enough with missile defence then it would be back to before. Oh also if one power is so strong it would be stupid to start a war would have that same effect on a smaller scale
1
Ironic that the only thing we can explore today is the deep BLUE SEAS. The world really must have the blues
1
@Theiliteritesbian there's also the big catch of being born just in time to explore the depths of the ocean assuming your not super old right now.
