This video must have been in production for eons with how long its been teased intentionally or not. If this took a while is the suez crisis taking a while or canceled?
1
I mean it's not what we would think of as a nuclear war But still it was about 10 times the scale of WW2 just not a "total nuclear war"
1
I like to think they are called boomers because they set up a timebomb that will blow up once there gone? Since thats a major effect they had on society.
1
@oaples8790 Its kinda allready is in some set places like Rwanda as a exsample.
1
@bombvoyage5686 well that didn't stop WW2 documentaries from blowing up quite literally the generation after it happened Yet I still see hardly any documentaries explaining 9/11. So there is somthing more there I just don't know what.
1
@ericthehighlander I'm not saying 9/11 wasn't important I'm saying WW2 is a massive exception to modern history being underapriciated to the point of I feel WW2 hogs to much of it If you want another example name one doccumentory about the eurozone crisis something that could have torn apart the EU no atention whatsoever Or the French interventions in west africa that is very similar to what the US has been doing in the middle East on a smaller scale. And that's just European stuff South East Asia's had alot happen and that's one of the fastest developing regions in the world.
1
21st century will be painfull Yes but hey it will also be incredibly meaningful. After our roots have been blown out of us in total war we are getting new roots stabbed right into us this centry.
1
@gutsjoestar7450 so it would end up like what the middle east was most of the time with the persians and whoever else is there constantly getting into minnor and occasionally major conflict.
1
@danske613 fair enough Most people agree Canada was a colony of the uk by the 1920s and thats what I'm going off of Japan and China was a similar relationship only thing canada had to give was a portion of its taxes aka monetary resources to the UK gouvernment just like the main thing Japan had to give China was some of its monetary resources in that case gold. I mean even the few surviving native Americans by the 1920s could be compared to the ainu of Japan but thats a stretch.
1
@frostnova8300 italy when france goes full colonial and takes tunis Wait thats illegal.
1
@abhignavijjapurapu209 fair enough Still the phoenician carthage comparison goes back even further. So If that one works I'm counting japan as well.
1
Everyone talking about weather or not we need it Then theres me thinking do people even think about what type of system do they want? Like for real were just asking should we make changes not what changes would work out well. We americans act like heathcare is the same in all european countries but its really not. Hell even uk has major diffrences between NHS england and NHS scotland. And why does it need to be baised of a european system anyway why not the japanese system which does do real well for its situation. Before you figure out what type of system you want other than gouvernment funded were not going to get anywhere.
1
@user-cf6fo6bj1u I think it will be China invading Vietnam or Russia this time around That or Russia invading Belarus something like that your forgetting Poland is all ready a German client state.
1
@brutusthebear9050 fair enough but you haven't brought up the cost of labor which goes down with more labor simple supply and demand.
1
If lemme die for Donbass is the new why die for Danzig I'd not be surprised.
1
As a American: this is going to be enjoyable. Assuming people can focus on corrupt corperations rather than politicians. Gamestop rebellion can unite everyone from progressives to libertarians Politicians can not.
1
@assgrabber5473 I was talking about america when I said assuming we can focus on corrupt corporations rather than politicians.
1
The year that shook america PFF 2020 IS SO BAD I dont see america shaking now do I.
1
@techpriest7060 honestly FAIR
1
So wait without the spanish institutions argentina wouldnt be a superpower?
1
For a second there I thought he brought up Tommy Robinson not Tony Robinson That would have completely changed the comment section if he said Tommy and not Tony.
1
@ivanthegreat2.070 don't forget about Japan actually fighting on a front that being Siberia rather than just doing more or less nothing.
1
France has a few other problems being spread so thin in africa Along with tensions with turkey France will overextend if it were to open another front on the mainland. Because of this there will be another power in north central europe I'll guess poland or if romania deregulates there fracking industry and has another oil ecconomic boom I could also see romania.
1
@christiandauz3742 okay now that I know its serious I know it would dramatically change history he brought up why. Alot of stuff you brought up though is ignoring cultural factors for example vaccines would not be shared with the native americans. Humanitarianism the reason why the west shares tech today would probably not be developed without the wests guilt baised civilization. My best guess is it would probably end up more like china trying really hard to keep tech like the crossbow away from everyone else. Eventually if the andies and central america can rebuild from the diseases probably would find out but the damage would allready be done. Im not going to go into the rest because This allready is one massive comment.
1
@christiandauz3742 humanitarianism is as old as time. altruism is not humanitarianism, that developed out of the west in the 1800s. Your point about the phoenicians not being "racist" they had a heavy in group bias and could be put into the group of "proto-racism" which you probably know nothing about although it was alot more cultural than anything. Edit also you have brought up atheism would be dominant by 100 bc 2 times now are you joking even now christianity is dominant in alot of us state industrialization did nothing to japanese shintoism and iran and turkey can still be very religious and industrialized. Modernity and religions coexsist now hell just look at israel.
1
Not have a great future Hmmmm what does that mean? Prob nothing
1
A candie Acadie Never forget aquadie.
1
Sars 2 this time its coming to YOU.
1
@kamikaze5528 like I said the best solution so far BUT not perfect. There will always be opportunities and there will always be motivation Mad just drastically reduces opportunities.
1
@YashSharma-zp8yu probably not but no way to tell. There was no reason for his south east asia video to get taken down either but it did.
1
Woah this was unexpected A week after a big video another one. And all of these big videos are amazing.
1
I dont really see the us liberalizing after a chinese collaspe remember how few restrictions got lifted after the fall of the soviets? Only for much much more restrictions to be placed a decade later in the early 2000s.
1
@henryp9671 barley functioning No it was closer to modern day saudia arabia barley holding onto social cohesion. About 3 steps away from that but still.
1
@henryp9671 Like I said it was only 3 steps away from barley functioning But also it did have alot of potential I could easily see it ending up like modern day Iran under the Tzar or I could see it ending up like a mix between modern america and modern china.
1
@henryp9671 yeah I mean even then I doubt without the soviets they would lose Ruthenia so Im pretty sure they would have that going for them today.
1
@pewpew4950 . . . That was long after the middle ages and the PLC crushing the austrians and Bohemians is much closer to WW1 than the middle ages. Not that thats a reason why germany couldnt have been able to swallow eastern europe.
1
@JBGARINGAN my point was how fast argentina changed with little internal pushback I'll be it potential long term side effects. Not why or how It went from a poor Viceroyalty forced to trade with mainland spain and no one but mainland spain to a ecconomic juggernaut in a few decades. So it would be a POSSIBILITY I just doubt the gouvernment would do such drastic changes needed.
1
@skar8083 yeah hell the PLC even did a similar thing in eastern europe with the ruthenians spliting them between Lithuanian and Polish Rule. The russians continued it after they conquered the area.
1
@FirstnameLastname-cw8ok yes theres a small disliked minority of them. Or at least a small disliked vocal fraction of them IDK
1
peter michalski I said I feel like not I am theres a diffrence there. Main reason being humans have somthing robots dont creativity. Worst case senario jobs like scientist or author still exsist.
1
@antimatterg somthing probably on the scale of the 7 years war.
1
The devil is in the details. You can guess the traffic ahead but not the turns it will make or exit ramp cars will get off on.
1
@anthonysutherland4108 well thats a strech more like the modern british commonwealth without a monarch and willing to expand via force.
1
I mean the 2nd one is interesting but I doubt they could beat the Frank's and especially the Byzantines especially then I mean I could see them cleaning up after the Frank's split in 3 but after that wouldn't they be incredibly overextended? They struggled to hold EAST FRISIA IRL so I'm sure they couldn't hold any further conquests. Also he already did a video on what if the ottomans won at WIEN or Vienna in English And I personally would really like to see the 4th option.
1
@Safwaan vic 2 has a diehard small fanbase like a cult classic Theres even a few smaller youtubers who specialize it like spudgun. Also vic 2 redit is big cringe but still big
1
@Safwaan fair enough.
1
@Safwaan neither do I but I mean neither are "dead" by any means.
1
So we will go from bill wurtz how did this happen To some future religious profits channel WHY DID ____ HAPPEN series.
1
@declanfeeney7004 I could also see romania have a fracking boom if they were to lift there crazy regulations and could use that to build up something but thats a strech. Poland also has beeing doing stuff now but Im not sure if that will last.
1
Everyone forgetting he was supporting polands 3 seas initiative as a bulwark against russia in eastern europe alongside funding the ukrainians. Theres always more complecations he set a line and said if you dont cross it we can focus on china.
