Hungary EH If hungary is even split in half over the danube than it would be MOSTLY central europe since then you also have to include half of slovakia and all of croatia and bosnia. So yeah there is a argument to be made it was majority central europe and not eastern but still Its not one many people make

They managed to become one of the most developed nations within a few decades. Before colasping ecconomically a couple of times and turning to a new stagnation. Like I said POTENTIAL EXSAMPLE Im not sure if the disaster afterwords is partially due to it or not.

  21. If I knew how to add land provinces onto sea tiles I would make that mod in victoria 2 the paradox game Im best at moding. But since Im not even sure that possible in victoria 2 Im not even going to try. Im aware you can do that in HOI 4 since well TNO and atlantropa mods exsist that have a smaller med but I have no clue how to do that. Edit plus I have no idea what to do with the effects just going to use polynesia as a exsample would the lower sea levels allow them to have a higher population on small islands they colonised or would the colder weather make it harder to grow crops? Would the colder weather have any effect on ocean currents? If so would they even reach said islands? Thats just polynisia dont even get me started on indonesia which would be conected to land.

  25.  Plamen Stoev  as if Sardinians are not the direct decedent's of Romans sure successors you can argue personally I would say not even the Greeks could claim to be the successors to the Romans since they were more or less the Irish living in northern Ireland as a modern example The Romans managed to get the area to be around half Hellenic and half Roman and the Romans eventually got assimilated by the Greeks living there after the wests fall Not to mention that we'll Roman culture and Greek culture were very different having different gods for the same things sure but still different gods Later on different sects of Christianity since we'll the Greeks molded Christianity in there image while the papal State simply in forced existing doctrine And if orthodox is such a big deal that it is enough to make Serbians and Croats literally genocide each other then we'll that is a decent difference.

  29. The union of soviet sovereign republics is a another way to defacto keep the USSR alive. I say defacto since the ussr itself would have been "gone" but in reality would have just gone through a massive reorganization.

Where france is trying prop up a defence line around Egypt, Greece, the UAE, Bahrain and Cyprus while still potentially including isreal in the future.

  33. I think its alot of social issues with boomers and Millenials due to the rate of technological change combined with elites being divided and trying to build up "tribes" behind them. Problem is not with the system its with the society which theres no real fix for. Stuff like breakdown of local social networks being replaced by digital ones has had a massive impact.

Inevitable doesnt mean it would happen like in the movies more than likley entire cities will be missed or the nuke would get shot down over it instead of impacting it.

But still its unlikley for it to result in New Zeland Getting wiped off the map. Plus unless it started as a neuclear war the use of nukes would ground the conflict to a halt due to both sides taking so many casualties at a impact zone.

For europe it would probably be like what happened to coastal china and Vladivostok after Hiroshima and Nagasaki so not exsactly the end of the world. neither side has anything past fission bombs so no hydrogen bombs. India and pakistan at most I can see 1.4 billion deaths including the initial ones due to fallout hitting the chinese coast and persian gulf.
