If you wish to criticise the funding of science then first take the trouble to find out the funding mechanisms. FE research is inept: poorly designed, ignoring key factors, employing the wrong maths and carefully ignoring what would disprove their claims. And, yes, we have gone through it over and over and over and over ad infinitum. FE’ers have repeatedly been told that the FE can be disproved by looking up and tracking sun, moon & stars. It has been explained to them why it would contradict a FE but that doesn’t faze them. Demonstrating the Earth to be a globe specifically takes more effort but is not difficult if you are willing to either travel or collaborate with others; they aren’t interested. None can provide a plausible explanation for a totally pointless conspiracy flawlessly run by millions of people for 2500 years but they readily believe it. What evidence would you accept?

  16. The path is an arc when the globe is projected onto a 2D surface; it is straight A to B on a 3d globe. A to B on c a FE map is beyond a plane’s operational range & speed. You need to explain how that flight works on a FE.

"there is a treaty of 197 countries " You're confusing the UN with the Antarctic Treaty; that has 52 signatories and contains no clause forbidding travel below the 66th parallel. If you wish to disagree then step up the plate and be the first FE'er to say which clause. There are plane flights to the south pole; how far south of 66 degrees do you wish to go? Vacuum's don't have force; there is nothing in a vacuum to generate force. The kinetic forces in gases means they would tend to expand; the expansion is countered by gravity, resulting in decreasing pressure with increasing altitude. Be the first to explain how you would get that phenomenon inside a dome with no gravity.

  35. Why waste time trying to zoom in on something that we know is completely blocked from view? The sun retains a constant angular velocity and angular diameter through the course of the day, disappearing below a horizon that arises from the measurable curvature found around the planet. FEers insist the sun never sets and changes angular velocity & diameter despite daily observation to the contrary; the onus is on them to demonstrate they can zoom it back.

  44. Try the first one he made which is educational about how we know the Earth isn’t flat. By this point he’s faced a deluge of insults & canards from Thinkers who can’t see their basic reasoning errors or grasp the notion of a model predicting what you should see. Zero challenges have been met by the people who you feel are “thinking differently” with the first challenge claimed impossible because they believe mapping a 2D surface onto a 2D surface woukd produce distortion for reasons they are unable to explain.

  46. Gravitational attraction is towards the centre of the Earth. Gravity keeps liquid in the bottom of an upright container and keeps water attached to the Earth’s surface. Still waiting in FE’ers to explain what they think would pull water off a globe Earth. The Earth’s circumference is 25,000 miles; a contain 59 miles across would have 1 degree of curvature across the water’s surface. How much would you expect to see and why?
