  10. I saw a story on Al Jazeera of a man whose pregnant wife and little daughter fell two stories and were crushed by rubble. Before dying in the hospital she asked her husband to remove the child from her womb and save it. They had to rush her to another hospital to remove the infant and revive it, but she had been too long without oxygen, and is probably brain damaged. She is all he has left.
