  47. Egypt is building that wall so that the US and Israel can't drive the long-suffering Palestinians out of Gaza into the desert in Egypt. It is to help the Palestinians remain in their ancestral homeland. The US, on the other hand, is sneakily giving the Israelis an excuse to establish a permanent military presence in Northern Gaza, effectively dividing Gaza in two and removing the Gazan's right of return to the North.
