I could only really guess the girl got her attitude from her mother, but if that isn't so, then perhaps from friends at school if her father was "out of the picture". But her mother should have pulled her up on this(assuming her mother was with her at that game).

The media, particularly commercial broadcast and print, had taken the story and beat it up way out of proportion to what it should've been. The WORST offenders being outlets belonging to the "King Of Sleaze", Rupert Murdoch. Social media, such as Facebook and Twitter appear to me to be full of trolls who get their jollies by making everyone else miserable. And you're right about 2018 and how it should not be this way this far into the 21st century. A "Star trek" type world without racism, prejudice or war? Not a "silly" notion, just regrettably utopian and unattainable as things are today.

  17. +My best friend was a Chick girl: your point is valid and I agree with much of it, but not all. There's also the point that there's actually no such thing as race. We're ALL human, it's just that there are different species, different varieties, you might say. What it basically comes back to is a 13-year-old girl who was unnecessarily rude and obnoxious to a sportsman who didn't deserve to be abused the way he was, and called the abuse out, as was his right and it was the right thing to do.

You have far too many different methods, each quite corruptible(example: Florida 2000 when Georgie Bush Junior got in on a disputed ballot). We have a straight-forward system of writing 1, 2, 3 or higher numbers against candidates, depending on how many are standing for a given electorate for the House Of Representatives(Lower House - we don't call it by such pompous names as Congress here in Australia) and our voting is, as it should be, COMPULSORY, because voting isn't so much a right as it a DUTY you perform for your nation to ensure proper governance, something of which America is in DIRE NEED at the moment.

The "Australian Television" you referred to is the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the segment used is from Part 2 of "Fox & The Big Lie" aired on Monday evening, 30th August, 2021(30/8/2021) at 8.30pm. Part 1 went to air on Monday, 23rd August, 2021(23/8/2021). The two-part feature looked at Rupert Murdoch's Fox News network and Donald Trump and the attempt to PERVERT America's democracy. The closest equivalent America has to our ABC is the Public Broadcasting System(PBS) and it's radio equivalent, National Public Radio(NPR) which would be far more reliable than NBC, ABC(American), or CBS, and far more honest!

Post-Trump, America is going to need to COMPLETELY redraft its constitution to completely STRIP the Presidency of ALL executive powers, leaving the position as purely ceremonial save for one power. to open and close parliamentary sessions. The executive power in government should be vested in a Prime Minister, operating on advice from a cabinet of other ministers for various portfolios, basically, adopt the Australian model.   44.  @hagdore  For India, English is an absolute necessity to communicate with the rest of the world, so the Indian educators strive to get it right, basing their education on British English rather than the corrupted American version. I've lost count of the times when Americans writing on these comments sections in YouTube, cannot use the correct versions(for want of better description) of There, Their or They're*, or of *You're and Your. For America, it's time to get back to basics. Throw that Websters dictionary in the rubbish bin, where it belongs, import massive stocks of the Oxford English Dictionary, then hire teachers who were educated in British, Australian and New Zealand universities to teach English to American children. I would've included Canada but Canadian English has been partly soiled by the poisonous American influence.
