This goes back to World War 2 and also World War 1 when an ungrateful France was rescued from German occupation by *allied forces(British, Australian, New Zealander and Canadian, I exclude the USA deliberately as the USA does as little as possible while stealing the credit from the allies for their efforts).   50. Dennis, you misunderstood my comment. I said basically that fathers aren't always the racist influence for a child. sometimes a child may be influenced by her/his mother. The girl's father may have left the family home for a variety of reasons but even if he was still at home, he may not have been the one to teach the girl, directly or indirectly, her racist attitudes. I hope that clarifies my earlier comment.
