10 SPd is VERY quick... almost as quick as a 2016 PDK but with More gears. Also quicker on the track than the Manual.

GTR is a Small D*ck / Asian kid's dream...that can't drive. Not to mention they went up in price $20k since 2013/2014 with a performance LOSS. Looks like shit/sounds like shit. A DOG from anything from a standing start. (FACT) A Hellcat Rapes!!! a GTR is a "1 PUMP CHUMP" , Any Highway race it would get KILLED by a Hellcat / 650hp ZL-1 and probably by even an OLD 662hp GT500. It Also Sucks ass on the track (USA Spec).

Pp2 mustang is the same price same hp the mustang just lost like always does on a track.gt350 sold for $25k More. Gt350R Was Over $100k In Nj.

@ThrottleHouse Actually you Didn't ... Road test these Models on the road. You must have been referring to the ZL-1 vs. Redeye and a ZL-1 1LE would be TOTALLY different on the street than a regular ZL-1.

The paddles are for turning on/off the REV-Matching Feature. Save on wear and tear, makes for quicker shifts and for those that aren't good at Heal-toe downshifting.

I couldn't agree MORE, should be reg. ZL-1 and Stock GT500, vs the Redeye. All season tire comparison.

Not really, The Redeye is 700lbs heavier and is on less sticky true street tires. 850hp Supersnake Gt500 that Motor trend tested had 188hp More than the reg. 662hp GT500 and it was slower in testing in the 1/4 mile. They actually almost have the same lbs./HP around 5.9, and anybody that knows drag racing it's ALL about traction, lbs/hp and gearing. With traction and gearing being equal... 99.9% of the time it's the car with a better lbs/hp. That's why Sportbikes are so quick.

He also said the Supra got a much better Launch. If it was on an actual Drag strip with timers...actual car time (excluding driver reaction) would show a bigger difference. About 25% of races are won by a Great driver in a slower car.

@hankwilliams1747 Especially since the M4 engine run 18 psi. Should be putting out 500hp. Put 18Psi on the 5.0 and you'd be 700hp+. Something on the BMW Engine setup isn't right... There's a restriction that is cause a high boost reading without the power increase. Also I think the Stang Looks better...and I'm Not a Ford Guy even though I worked for them for a while. Also worked for BMW, LOL;-)

No, Only 147hp... but in a car that weights 672lbs MORE and is on all season tires vs. the 1LE's Track/slicks and downforce.

@turbojunki Drag race car??? This isn't A Demon ( The Drag Racer). It Doesn't have the drag suspension , Drag radials , lightening (seat / speaker delete , etc.) , skinny front wheels or the Transbrake of the Demon. If you / ANYONE ELSE , Think the Redeye is a Drag Car .... You don't Drag race or know much about it. REDEYE Widebody IS , A Grand Tourer , Plain and Simple.

Chevy Just started offering an auto in the ZL-1 1LE, It originally ONLY came with a Manual. Not to mention, Most are probably still built with the manual (more durable for track use). The Redeye ONLY comes with an Auto, The Tremec in the Hellcat isn't rated for the Redeye's TQ (would void the warranty).

They Should have said what the MPG they got during the Full test regular driving/ drag/ track. Also, should have taken the tires off and stood them next to each other to show a BIG reason for the track time/drag race results. Alot of you tubers don't realize that the tires, are the Biggest factor in performance.

ZL 1LE and GT500 "Track Pack" are Made for the same Customers... The Redeye is the Only Car that isn't a direct competitor of the Others/For a Different customer.

They wouldn't fit. Demon had Much smaller brakes which allowed those small diameter wheels. It needed the ACR Viper's track tires.

Since the Mid 90's<2000 , it has been the opposite and the vette / viper has been outhandling the world ( excluding Special 911s) and They have been faster in a Straightline.

So TRUE.. atleast make Trofeo R or Michelin Cup 2 tires an option... it's the same BIG issue with the Nissan GTR.

The Tires and suspension(ride) would be the concern for "Daily driving" one. The T/A 1.0 would probably be the, Best compromise for a Street driven Viper. Has good downforce with the Small Tail Spoiler (not a wing) and splitter. I think it was only 15% stiffer than base suspension, Thicker...but still steel Brakes (Big $$$ Service savings). Stickiest wet weather tire offered on a Viper. GTS and GTC were more of a Luxury model.

You do realize the corrvette base model only has495hp? Also, this vette would shit on the Much more expensive Carrera Or the Twice as expensive 911 Carrera S. Car & Driver even ran this $70k US C8 against the last Variation $190k 911GT3RS. They ran 0-60Mph in THE SAME TIME. The GT3RS did win the 1/4 Mile , 10.9 vs. 11.2.( Motortrend Ran 11.1 in their Corvette test, Beating the Carrera S) Europe nor Japan Sells Anything in the USA that comes close In Performance/ $$$. FYI, FERRARI Street cars Suck on The Track. Use to be the same with Lambos Before the Huracan.

I think you Mean "COPO Camaro", There is No such thing as a Coop Camaro. Just so you know, Copo means, "Central Office Production Order" as the 60's versions were originally Not a Model and had to be specially ordered and Yenko was the First to do that. Most of the Yenkos were Chevy Built Copo Cars with Just Yenko Seat covers , stripping and Badging...the Most actual Modding was Probably adding just Headers. He wasn't a car builder Or a Tuner Like Shelby. He too For Most part was Just a Tuner..Not a Car designer, He only Modified Ford built Mustangs Like Hennessey, Roush, Lingenfelter, etc do today.

Atleast for the Drag race since they allowed him to switch from the ZL-1 1LE to the quicker regular ZL-1. Actually the drag race should have Used all the NONE Track models. I don't think we will ever see what a Non-Carbon fiber Gt500 will do.

They make less than most NON-american supercars. ALso these are relatively low production. If you think about it the toyota corolla, Honda Civic and VW Golf are (because they are sold more) polluting the environment more. FOOD For thought. Also surprisingly these actually get better MPG than quite a few "Supercars".

Acceleration is about traction and Power to weight... Zl-1 is some 600lbs Lighter as it's ALOT Smaller. A 400hp Turbo Orignal VW Bug would shit on a GT3RS...same thing.

2 seater vs. 5 seater. Cadillac CTS-V is the closest to a Hellcat Challenger of any trim level. Obviously you are in the Minority...as the Challenger has been out-selling camaros for a few years and with NO New Platform. Once it gets a Lighter, New chassis...Chevy will Discontinue the Camaro once again... Almost had to do it with the "Not selling C7 corvette", or the 3rd place in Sales(behind the Ram) Pickup. Only Nissan is doing worse as a Car/truck company/brand... And I've liked/owned a Camaro.

They have the Hellcat Jeep, Durango and TRX. Durango will do 60mph in 3.5sec and seat 7 people.

Not top speed. Also the price difference will be stupidly high... so it will be on the price range of the Zr-1, 911 turbo, Nissan GTR, etc., Not against these MUCH cheaper challenger/camaro.

This is a Ponycar shoot out. C8 Corvette comparison would have to be against 911s, GTR (nismo and AMG), 570s....etc.
