It's a Pony car comparison. Dodge Viper is No more and the Only Real Ford Sports car is the Ford GT which is More than 4 Times the Price, and wouldn't be close or a fair battle/Not entertaining(1 Sided). They would have to get a Non-American Sports car for the comparison and it wouldn't be an American shoot out.

Not really... 99% ofr rich people ( in NJ USA) Just want to look , The part. Rich people don't know / Have The Balls to Push It. All so They Never Gave a Start/ Stop Mph. Wanted to Mention that , The Trackhawk's Top Speed, IS THE SAME AS THE URIUS.... 40MPH , Above Any GermanGerma Brand.

@WhaaaaTha True, I "HOPE" the GT500 aren't Price gouged like the Shelby GT350 and GT350R were. Aroudn me the $90k Msrp GT350R was going for $120k. Also I wished magazines/ video testers would test the same Model against each other. In that I mean "with vs. without the track pkg." Lets see how much quicker on a tack/drag strip does it go, also how much does it hurt the ride quality( as most will still be street driven). For Example, EVERYBODY tested the Z06...but ONLY with the Z07 pkg. NOT 1 tester ever tested the Z06 without the Z07 pkg.? Regular trim Z06 had a true streetable tire and better aero dynamics and probably 200+mph top speed....NOT so with the Z07 package. Hellcats are NOT the best handling but handle ALOT better than Most Youtubers realize, anybody that says they don't...Never rode/drove one. ALL Hellcat pull over 0.9 Lateral G's matching high-end RWD German luxury cars of similar weight. They may not be the quickest with the release of the New GT500, But I can Guarantee they are the most comfort riding /spacious of the 3 (shelbys/ Zl-1s/Hellcats).

Zl1 1LE easily beats the GT350R in every category ... Ride quality is a toss up. The GT350R is actually closer in lap times to the SS 1LE at Laguna Seca with Randy driving. Car & driver got.... 0-60mph - 3.5s (ZL1 1LE) / 3.9s (GT350R) / 4.0s (SS 1LE) / 4.3s (GT350) 1/4 mile - 11.7@124mph (ZL-1 1LE) / 12.2@ 119mph (GT350R) / 12.3@116mph (SS 1LE) / 12.5@117mph (GT350) On the Track it's the same 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 positions. Times are from Car & driver testing. Track times are from Randy Pobst driving for Motor trend.

They will NEVER make a Mid-engine (ponycar)...They save that for the top tier models like the C8 corvette...and probably the Next Viper.."Hope NOT".

Not in a Roll race or in top speed. You have to define your battles. ZL-1 1LE is meant for the track and Wins there... Job Complete.

He's talking about the Chassis, The CHallenger that is still being Built Uses parts/designes that date back to OLD BENZ models. The CHallenger/Charger are STILL MERCEDES..NOT Fiat.

@nyckae8587 No problem, Everyone, especially with new Models are learning new things. Craziest thing is that this Body style Chassis is So old and it's selling great... even had a few month last year? that it Out sold the Mustang, and out sells the much newer Camaro by ALOT. I still Wished they would go to a slighty smaller and Much lighter Platform, a 2+2 a few inches Narrower and about 6" shorter, saving about 500+/- pounds. It also needs a DOT Track tire option like what the GT500 and ZL1 1LE has, would make all the difference.

You mean... 6.2L??? The 6.4L is the All motor 392 in the Scat Pack.

@WhiteGoldSynesthesia No difference ... Just miss pronouncing 1 letter wrong vs. A Pair. It's as disrespectful as Prosche , with an E Instead of the A sounding ending it's Suppose To. American Company / Model's Name Is said the Company's Country Says It.

NOT, 300 and Challenger use different (Mercedes , Platforms 1 is the LX and the other is the LC). The Camaro Uses the ALPHA Platform...which was first used in the Cadillac ATS, So it's Not a Camaro. Chevy doesn't sell enough Camaros to waste money on a Bespoke chassis. Camaro has been last in Pony car sales for a while.

There wasn't a DCT transmission that could handle the Torque of the 8.4L V10 in a Front engine/RWD layout at the time it was built... So there wasn't any options...other than True automatic.

Could Go Lighter /Cheaper with a Road Runner or Super-Bee? GTX was a Luxury version.

The PP2 performance package ONLY comes with the manual.

@randythompson4006 I was just on FORD's Site and BUILT the car in the Video and the auto is automatically replaced with the manual when you select the PP2. Sure you can replace it yourself but it won't come from the factory like that.

Actually, the lower control arms are aluminum versions of Gen 1 Dodge dakotas, also had the same 6 lug bolt pattern.

kell m None of these can run factory quoted numbers on the street. They only "get close" on a FULLY PREPPED Dragstrip... And then, you Need Ideal weather conditions.
