  13. This happened to my brother except his wife is from Vietnam and he went against my family’s wishes and married her. His life is not so happy now. It is sad when you marry the wrong person.

  17. That is BS in my family. All they do is come and ask for my dad’s permission to marry me at the engagement ceremony. We don’t do the dowry stuff at all.

  19. I agree and cheating is very bad for both genders but worse for the women in the sense that they get pregnant and lie about who the father is. I think that may be one of the many reasons why men tend to take cheating harder than men generally do.

  23. A woman’s character is tested when she is poor. This truly shows how selfish and greedy they are. He dodged a bullet. He sounds like my kind of guy as I love to travel the world and work with him to build a life together. I find it sad when women look for men with money just to leech off of them. I am so glad my parents taught me way better than that. They told me to make my own money so I can look for true love instead of money. You should be with your man though thick and thin not wait until he has something and go after him when becomes well established. These women are truly greedy and selfish.

  25. True friendships are harder to find as you get older because people become more competitive and practical to the point that they lose all of the innocence of a true friendship. It is sad for these guys because they are on only child with no siblings. In my family, even if we did not friends, we have each other since we have a lot of siblings. I don’t think you need that many close friends but only about 1-2 close friends is enough. Having too many becomes excessive and superficial. It is better to have one close friend than many untrue friends. It is so sad that money is becoming so important that it breaks bonds like that. I feel bad for the guy who was betrayed by his cousin.

  28. I admit that he was a bit too extreme but that is how you test someone’s true character. A woman’s character is tested when she is poor and a man’s character is tested when he is rich. He is testing the women’s characters and they all failed.

  33. Not all guys want kids and if you can afford it, technological help is always available if you can afford it. Plus, younger age doesn’t guarantee children or healthy children too. My uncle married in his 20s but was naturally infertile. My brother was in his 50s and his wife was 43 when they had my nephew who is healthy too. My mom had my youngest brother at 42 and he is healthy and is the tallest one in my family. It is more than age and not always the woman’s fault as the man can be the one with fertility problems.

  40.  @kgjung2310  It depends as my man chose me. I am in my 40s and never married but luckily look younger than my age. My man is young and attractive too so it’s not like he is desperate. He looks like a Kpop idol. Maybe I am an exception. My man is only 22 and I was worried about the children issue due to my age. He straight out said he doesn’t care about having kids. But I don’t know if he will change his mind or not. Plus, having kids is more than age. My uncle married at 20 and he was the one who was naturally infertile. Therefore, he could not have kids so just adopted. In several cases, it is the man who has fertility issues not the woman.

  42.  @fabiourbano6404 You are missing a fact too. Some women may be younger but are used up, while some are older but are not. I can tell you that in my case, I dated briefly only once before my ex dumped me and I met my current man. My ex was a widowed man in his late 40s with 2 kids. I was in my late 30s when I met him. I was older but not used up at all. I have known many women younger than me who are extremely used up if you know what I mean. I am now with my current boyfriend who is in his early 20s and I am in my mid 40s. He doesn’t mind my age and knows I am not used up in spite of my older age. The same thing would apply to cars. A car may be older and have lesser mileage than a newer car with a lot more mileage because it has been driven a lot. But the older car has hardly been driven so has way more mileage.

It is just like a car, you can have a newer car with lesser mileage versus an older car with more mileage left on it because it has not been driven a lot.

  46.  @BritishEcho My second brother had his only son at 53 and they are doing great. My nephew is calm and can play by himself and is easy to take care of. My grandma lived until 100 so we kind of have the longevity gene.

  50. I find it sad and messed up that a woman who works keeps the money to herself. Where is the logic there? If you get married, then you should become partners and shoulder everything together. I don’t get why the man has to shoulder all of the finances. That is such old school thinking that needs to go!
